Slight query on this, I haven't seen it critical with containment; is this:
1) me not containing the mobs first (probably, always get over-excited at the sight of a corpse....I have veng and fallout ok????)
2) intentional
3) a bug

Hmmm, but can 2 Rads cast Fallout on the same corpse, one would have thought so, but its finding 2 people who take this hugely under-rated power.

Wow, I'm only 1 of 3 doms on the list! Don't worry folks, the LRSF is dominator friendly and the team still welcomes us with open arms! I havent died the last 2 times through either

Well we did the whole thing last night in less than 3 hours with 2 Rads, 2 Kins, 1 Thermal, 1 Fire Brute, 1 Plant Dom and a stalker. Would have been a good 30 mins shorter if it wasnt for the evil crashes happening last night. No nukes needed, and only 2 Shivans required each.
If you wanna do the LRSF right, do it with Silent Knight (and you can keep that as your catchphrase if ya want!)

Agreed, I have taken on 6man spawns with my Plant/ Fire with little worry. Creepers>Confuse>fiery embrace>Fire Breath>Bile Spit>consume>attack chian. They're all dead, you've got full health and most of your end

I was the plant dom on a 7 man team that did LRSF before it was nerfed. Ok, primary didn't feel amazingly useful; but with the buffs/ nukes/ dom level confusion/ AoE immob I still contributed a fair bit of damage

Gratz again Silent; as you say its good teamwork and leadership that gets you through this SF. I'd like to join the one tomorrow, but am busy; next time though count in everyones favourite dominator

Hmm, never thought about using EMP as a -regen on AVs; but rarely come across 2+ AVs at once on heros. Whilst we're plotting it; I'm gonna offer my services as the vengeance corpse. Think that the buff would be better used on a corruptor than me. Defo speccing in leadership for Git at either I8 or 3rd respec; Veng is too useful a power to go without (I thought I'd learnt that with Mias; Vengeance/Fallout/Mutate/Rad debuffs makes lone AV killing so easy. And a defo bonus on 8 AVs as well).

I apparently got DCed overnight; checked this morning and Numina is back Looks like we're trying some pulling before rushing tonight!

Shockingly, as a 7 man team (the Stone Brute's wife dragged him off kicking and screaming after the first mish) we almost finished it. 2 rad corrs, 1 kin corr, 1 plant dom, 1 SR stalker and 2 fire brutes. No one quit the SF, so we're trying again tonight. Rushing seems to be the best way by far; though shivans, nukes and vengeance are a necessity. We got Numina down, and 3 other heros down to very low health before teamwiping. Other missions were a total breeze.

Focusing on getting a dominator to 50 is an absolute art; one which I finely honed by about lvl45... Hopefully the next one won't take as long!

I'm plant/fire level 46. Fiery embrace does its job, but needs 3 recharges and hasten IMO. I keep forgetting to use it in my attack chain, which is probably silly; but damage is not a Doms forte anyway. Given the choice, I'd take power boost anytime as it fits in with the style of the arch better (in PvE anyway).

Aye, but its only when I realised that I'm not a high damage monkey, that I can concentrate on doing a different job, which is making the kill rate for everyone else much faster. I'm also a great aggro draw!

All depends on how you want to build it. I've skipped incinerate (melee eep!), blazing bolt (snipes on doms... im always bloody moving, whats the point. Snipes good on blasters or below lvl32 IMO) and combustion (damage is pants and you need to be too close). I'd suggest 6 slotting Consume if you're running without stamina (3 rec, 2 acc, 1 end mod) and add in another ACC to your attacks when you start taking on +2 cons or higher. Depends how many slots you have really, i find with hasten on, I don't need the recharge reduction on assault powers.
Soloing with doms on vicious is easy; and its not so hard on relentless (just takes longer). Spam holds on anything that moves; confuse if it gets difficult or the mood takes you (you'll get through missions faster, but suffer a slight drain in short term XP gain (long term, its faster as you're getting mish bonuses faster)).

You're crazy Dark Elf! I'm plant/fire and have lived without Stamina all the way so far (lvl43) and have no intention of getting it. Also have no end reductions slotted. Consume and domination cover all my endurance needs. The only problem in the high level game is you do feel a little weak compared to the damage being handed out by the corruptors and brutes; I'm finding myself best employed by tossing in creepers/confuse/waterspout/group hold as an alpha and then focussing on taking a hard boss out the fight with holds while swapping targets for AoEs on mobs/ healing colleagues etc.
Best advice for playing a dom- switch targets lots, but keep your focus on something you want taken out the fight.

Well im level 36 Plant/ Fire and loving it too. Much more my sort of toon; trying to hold/mez/confuse everything in sight. Ok so I'm no damage machine; but neither is my defender. I guess it's just playing what you love, and for me thats being the squishiest with a very varied primary set; odd set of secondaries, and a whole host of Pool powers (first toon I've ever played that Stamina has not been needed at all).
Its true that AVs are difficult to do anything to, but I'm still in there with a Spirit Tree, pet, creepers, medicine, invis etc to help the team out. Plus we can always sort out the mobs around the AV and hold him for 25 out of every 75 seconds....
pvp is a different matter.... but I'm not built for that at all!
