Here is something that expains Gideon's existance as well as the other immortals in my story.
The awakening is the transition from mortal to immortal. It can happen in a few ways. Most cases it is by death and holy or unholy ressurection. In other cases it can be done through magic with out the person dying. For Millenia there has been a struggle between good and evil. Two factions of immortals had arisen. The Saviors and The Corruptors. The Saviors were created as God's warriors on earth while The Corruptors are Satan's pawns. The oldest of the immortals are the brothers Cain and Seth, The children of Adam. Both brothers have long since disappeared off the face of the earth. It is said that Cain was the first Vampire. Contrary to popular Belief He was the first corruptor with the ability to suck out a person's life force. He suffered from none of the weaknesses vampires do. He could walk in the sun and was immune to their weaknesses. He was also the first immortal to bear children. This is where the story of the vampires begin. He had 3 sons Abishag, Abital, and Achan. They grew up to the age of 21. That is when they stopped aging. Like their father they had become immortal but unlike him they began to thirst for blood and succumed to the weaknesses of most vampires. they could no longer walk in the sun. their immortality was like a disease that would spread. They began to feed on mortal men and infecting them, making them vampires like them. It is said that the Chosen will also have the abilty to bare children. It is said that the chosen would be awakened in our darkest times. Then will the tide turn between the forces of good and evil. This time is now. -
Ok I'll explain it The Warlord destroys the village where she is from to capture the girl which has the gift of prophecy As they take the girl She has one final vision In this vision she talks about Gideon's coming 1000 years in the future and that the warlord would fall to him. The girl then dies from the shock of having that final vision. The warlord doesn't know it yet but he is supposed to die and become immortal that is why he live so long and Gideon defeats him. I will post the story of the immortals so you guys cane get a better understanding.

it does feel good to get gift art. Last time I got any was when I was in high school. A friend drew my character Gideon back when he had a different name and used guns. The original concept was a vigilante. Anyway my [censored] left it with my first peices of comic art from when I started drawing and my art teacher lost everything.

No prob. This is the for my character Zuriel The Shadow Saint.
The Being known as the Shadow Saint is a being Created by God. He was created and given the power over darkness and light. He was created as the lord of Chaos and order.God created this angelic being as a last attempt to get rid of the evil that was in the world. No longer would sinners inflict suffering on the innocent. No longer would people murder out of greed self satisfaction or any other reason. These sinners would soon have to answer to Gods' personal enforcer. For once they would feel the wrath of God. It was when he made his first appearence on earth that he was Given the name Shadow Saint. He appeared in an alley where a woman was about to be [censored] in front of her 5 year old son. The woman described shadows decending upon her attacker. She then heard a blood curdling scream. when the shadows disappeared here was this man with white and gold feathered wings and a hood dressed in gold standing in front of her holding the lifeless body of the rapist. The woman thanked him. When asked about the incident she said The Shadow Saint saved her. Later it was found out that his name was Zuriel. The meaning of the name is The rock of God. Since his arrival he has passed final judgement On all. The good and innocent would recieve blessings like healing, While the evil would perish at his hands. From what we gathered about his powers over light and darkness, He is able to heal and give life as well as shoot beams of holy light energy from his eyes and hands. He can also Drain a person's life force, cover his hands in negative energy making them deadly weapons or even shoot negative dark energy from his hands. Some people have been quoted in saying the apocalypse is upon us and the Hand of God has been sent to smite evil. -
