Earth/TA I cant recommend it enough!

2 st holds, 2 aoe holds, lots of slows, debuffs, damage in the comedy form of Oil Slick... the list goes on.
Its a bit of a struggle early on, but well worth the effort. My Earth/TA also has Ice mastery: aoe hold + oil slick on fire + Ice storm = pain.

As of today Pyrechill Ice/Fire/Mace Mastery Dominator

I'm still ready for this with my Dom...and poop to all you 'we neeed 15 corruptors and 20 brutes' tell me a date and time and i'll be shivaned and nuked up

I only have experience with the Ice side of dominating, but here are my recommendations based on no pvp and me being bossy

I would swap one of the holds on Block of ice for a second recharge - have found it handy to have it up that litle bit quicker for bosses and emergencies

Chillblain - i didnt take it, dont have much need for immob but if you want to take down flying things thats cool

Shiver - Im not a fan cos it only slows them up - they still want to (and can) punch your face.

Artic Air! - I'd take it much earlier than 24. Although it eats end like I eat babies, the confuse and slow work wonders if you get surrounded and dont have panic button (ie glacier) yet. It also works well with ice slick so that anything thats not too busy falling over gets confused and slowed

Swap hurdle for health - I cant prove it with numbers but im sure it helps me last longer. especially when held with low hp the only thing you can do is heal naturally and health speeds it up

Jack frost - my jack has a hold in place of a slow for those rare and often very handy moments when he uses freezing touch

Patron pet - I think you should take the pet because its handy for taking bosses down faster once held or using as another aggro grabber

Presence - I would drop the presence pool altogether. I tried it on test recently and it didnt seem to help me much seems pretty useless on leuts and bosses

Travel - No presence pool and no Super Speed = Leaping! Combat jumping for a tiny bit of defence, SJ for wow im so high and fast! and Acrobatics to stop the dreaded knockdown and help out against holds

Keep aid self and other for sure.. heal jack and keep yourself alive!

Hasten I dont have and dont feel i need but if you like it and you have room by all means take it

Energy Alternative
As a lvl 49 Ice/ Fire dom I highly recommend fire as an energy alternative. True, it doesnt have power boost but it does have firey embrace ( increases ALL damage, not just fire) and consume ( End gaining without domination ) oh and the snipe is groovy... Having said that most of the attacks seem to be ranged or cones/aoe rather than melee

Certain builds can solo with their difficulty at the highest, earlier. Others just have to wait.

very true. there was a point when I thought 'well yeah im pretty evil, but I need more of a test... time to spawn me some purple bosses and kick their shins till their parents come round and make me apologise'

I am curious how other doms at various levels set theirs - I see a lot of people talking about villainous and malicious etc, but I swear I have been set to Relentless for the last 20 levels. Its only recently that I have started to lower it sometimes because post 45 its all about Heroes and EBs. Please tell me im not mad (My dom is lvl 49 Ice/Fire/Mace for those that are interested)

I think end is definately a problem for us doms. I am lucky having consume in /Fire but even so its a long wait with 3 recharges on it - and thats if it hits!

One here - Pyrechill Ice/Fire lvl 45 at the moment. Yup Avs are a pain, but I am having ten times more fun than I did with my scrapper. Sometimes its hard to find a team, but when you do its always an adventure...in the land of eek my holds keep missing

First of all, assuming Megalomaniac + Domination = Superholdfunparty (which it seems to) tell me I am right in assuming one boosts the other - would it matter which order they are fired in?

Secondly does anyone have any numbers or info on Demonic Aura that they could make simple? I have used it as a panic button a few times now and im pretty sure thats not the idea!
Defence wise I only have Combat Jumping and Black Scorpion's armour (just in case thats relevant)

If you're on defiant look out for Pyrechill - Pink and yellow stripey thing!

I found tp foe an Incredibly useful power for my early levels as a dom. (Ice/Fire)

tp foe - hold - beat into a pulp - repeat.

i had 2 accs in it (for pvp purposes later on) the only big problem is the occasional aggro draw. Well that and it makes it sloow going, but it is pretty safe.

Congratumalations - a well deserved 50 for sure!

I would say Pirate Ghosts beacuse they were there pirating about while alive, before Arachnos arrived. Ghost pirates might have just decided to haunt that spot because its pretty
