Partition Walls, with and without doorways.
A proper bed.
Firing range targets, like some of the Arachnos Bases have.
Signs, preferably customisable but generic ones would do.
Emblem wall plaques, with the SG logo, red cross, that snake medical thingy, and so on.

Highlighted these as 'they should have done these already'
But /signed to every last one of these -
Happy birthday!
Or..

(Frisian for; congratz with your birthday, may you have many more in good health) -
Though I'm not an artist... Though I think I have a fair grasp of the theoratical side of it.
Oh, and is this for "creative" tips, or "drawing" tips?
Any way:
Step 1: Get to know the tools
Doodle, sketch, play around. Try different things. Maybe you'll find that pencils are your thing, maybe a tablue on your pc, or even just the mouse? How about paintier's brush?
Step 2: Practice shapes!
Sketch, copy things you see, copy from a photo, draw from memory. Draw a car, draw a fruit bowl... draw differnt things to get a feel for the shapes. Don't worry about light and shadows at this point, that comes later.
Step 3: Lighting
Where in step 2 you concentrated on shapes, in step 3 you take a better look at how light falls around those shapes. And try to add them to your work.
Step 4: Human annatomy
You might have drawn people, and you might have gotten the proportions wrong. Maybe you did it right and you have a good grasp of proportions. Examin the size difference between limbs.. how far does that arm reach? How big is the head compared to the body? Is the foot really as long as the forearm? Examin the joints, does the knee bend in the right direction? How far can the elbow bend?
Step 5: Anatomy part 2: Muscles and skin.
People have muscles that show under skin, skin that moves and with people's movements. To get a good understanding of how muscles show, look up body builders! Their exaggerated muscle tones help show where muscles are and how they show. -
Mhmmm, it's dark, but it fits it!
I just think the hair is a bit too bright/not dark enough to fit the rest of the lighting.
Oh, and the hair could do with a few subtle texture brush lines.... in my opinion, at least -
Like Swissmeister said, take the break you need!
Relax, don't feel pressured to do drawings.
If you feel like drawing, then draw, if you don't.. don't force it.
Just don't be a stranger, you hear!? -
Nice one!
I can just see how this is a 'watch this, here he...' pause
(and he catche the knife arm, while delivering an uppercut)

If avoiding tools is not too big a challenge, I would have rather we all gathered in Pocket D for the masquerade ball. Also, would it be more interesting to keep the dress code limited to masquerade as opposed to fancy dress and Halloween outfits? Saturday 25th sounds good though. I'll be there either way. A host is not essential.
[/ QUOTE ]
Sounds good to me, a non hosted one on the 25th
Masquerade or Halloweenish I won't vote on
Then, on the 2nd, I'll host a Halloweenish party

Then G.P. your not who I'm talking about and my comment was not for those who FB because they missed a few on the way or never knew they were there = it's for those that Don't do real missioning themselves but go from breakout right to Grand or outbreak right to PI = then go FB to shore-up what they missed.
[/ QUOTE ]
That is of course the only way to play.
Either PL to 50, or grind away solo. (inaccurate and intentional twisting/exaggeration of your words) And the FlashBack system is only useful for badges. There are no nonbadge missions in there, of course, as that'd defeat the purpose. -
The MA is cannonly pitched as virtual entertainment.
Badges are for real enemy defeats.
Even if those defeats happen in the past.
MA = no defeat count -

Union or Defiant?
Black Tie or Masked Costume/Fancy Dress?
Starblayde would be a mover and shaker in that sort of circle, I imagine, though it does beg the question (does it?) - if everyone wore masks, in the Austrian Empire Grand Ball/Waltz style, wouldn't that make the traditional-looking superheroes/villains with alter-egos instantly recognisable as the hero/villain the really are?
Bruce Wayne going to a masked ball that only shows you the lantern jaw and his eyes would, well, look just like Batman
Suspend that disbelief.... suspend iiiiit! *shakes fist*
[/ QUOTE ]
Union.
That's that part done, now for the other:
Costume/masked/fancy dress.
I'm expecting catgirls that aren't, nurse/doctor outfits, Statesman costumes, angels, Djini, mad scientist with a big brain wig, immitations of player hero costumes.
If heroes have secret identities, it's up to them how to dress to protect them. Whether to come as a civillian, or as a hero.
Assuming I'm going to host it, I'll post an other thread after the weekend with the time and place and such.
But I can tell you now that it'll In Character be in a night club in Skyway City of the adult entertainment veriaty, though the usual entertainment will be suspended for the party (for the limited one night permit of letting younger then 21 in). It'll be an open invitation through fliers.
So, anyone could show up if they wanted. As long as they have a fair enough standing in Paragon that they have time to read fliers. So hard core 'm3 bad 4ss k1llah' villains aren't likely to show up, and definitely not welcome. -
One vote for PD, two votes for Hosted, one vote for not PD.
All that in just 2 voters.
Also more "yes please" to either.
And I was just reminded that I'm to be up early on the 26th as well, so either it'll be not hosted by me, and in PD. Or it'll be short. Or it'll be... one week later! -

Ooooh!
Love it!
As you said, it has something simple about it, but at the same time isn't simple at all, it's just easy to look at.
I love the pose, it's so very heroic/defiant/victorious (only comment would be how and where the mace is held)
The 'background' glow with lines really gives it an energetic feel.
It's like he's being empowered by the mace he just pulled from a stone (who said it could only be swords? >.>.
Or that he's powering up to...
One comment about your recent 3D art, the surfaces look somewhat plasticy... -
I'm thinking zaterdag 25 april would be a nice date for this.
Starting at 8pm Central European Summertime.
With most people seeming to prefer PD, that'd be a free for all social gathering without a host (unless someone wants to host it, as a charity ball?)
If people prefer that I host the Masquerade ball/Costume party...
Then it will be held in one of my SG bases, held in Paragon, Skyway City, specifically a night club.
With me as Host(ess), and I'd probably open up a few staff positions to players.
So, the choice is yours. -
Ah yes... commenting on this... I forgot when I saw it (from work and all)
the red and black was indeed not clear, like Neko I only saw one character.
After seeing the coloured version, the composition became more clear.
After seeing what's what, I do prefer the red and black one as well. -
An other question, though.. would PFF prevent the placement of said trip mine?
What about Invisibility? -
I'll probably get it, like all the other packs... but on the other hand, I've become a bit disillusioned about the City of... franchise, mostly due to NC West's idiotic strict rules; 'I'll sue!' twitch reaction; poor marketing choices (from our biased consumer perspective) and 'EU is the suxx0r' attitude impression that I've (probably falsely?) gotten.
Yes, I think I'll leave this be, and if I should feel more like staying with CoX, then I might get it. -
Well, if it's an official 'ball' it'll be a Masquerade, more then likely.
Though perhaps a 'theme night'? -
Which would people prefer?
an official party with host and service
Or an official known meeting time and place without a host and only PD or other imagined service?
To increase fun during the party, it'll be requested that everyone who goes follow the next points as a guide:
- use the options to hide the player names (either to none or to mouse over)
- even when you know the character name, use the description of the outfit instead to indicate who you're talking to.
Instead of
;looks over MR ALT and nods "interesting outfit"
do a
;looks over the man in the blue and red custume and nods "interesting outfit"
or even
;looks over 'Statesman' and nods "interesting outfit" -

Also i think i find a way to draw Golden Girl, too. Possibly it won't be in the way she thinks about her but i hope i can win her.

This is going to be tasteful, isn't it?

Penthouse is tasteful, right? -
Regarding Neko, I agree with Neko as well.
It's great all over.
The wings are a more apropriate size, still not big, but more then the symbolic ones the game gives (imo)
The lip is great too, daring! And it pays off, just that I wonder why she's biting her lip
Drawing wise, I have one question... where's her other foot?
