Sadly, that's the same face I make every time I drop something off at the Magi vault. -
Anyone remember those "Frankie says "Relax"" shirts? (I don't I was a child at the time but I know some pop culture refrences that predate me
). In any case when they did the April fool's day day gag about the text versions it reminded me of "Frankie" shirts. So I give you Energy Blast says Freem. This *should* be the correct resolution for use on CafePress.com if you are so nclined to make a shirt (I have never made one there but I used the T-Shirt template so you should be golden. Enjoy!
I plan on revising this to make the "Freem" more styalised but I won't be able to get to it until the weekend. -
I started a joke... that started the whole world laughing... oh but I didn't see - that the joke was on me
So I fell out of bed, cursing my head for things that I said... -
Just a heads up - BaB confirmed that the blue tower buffs his ToHit as well as "Other things". Thread is here..

Kind of a cross between Archery Blasters & various Controller types. They are kind of like a mystical form of longbow. -

Mission Doors
I pulled every single mission door from the zone and reassigned it to a specific contact AND that contact's neighborhood. What this means is; no longer will players have to fly across the deadly Grendel's Gulch at Level 5 for their Frostfire mission at the other end of the zone, dodging spawns that can make mincemeat of them in a few short hits.

I just now heard about this - I was thinking *nearly* the same thing...
Submission to come! -
Nicely done! I'd add one little thing to this here:

Statesman's Task Force: Stand next to the tower that your team is trying to destroy to keep the Repairmen away from it so that they can't repair it!
[/ QUOTE ]
Make sure that you don't stand where you would be pushing a repeariman near a defeated tower and to use your blast to take them out as a priority! -

Why call this a Bible? Just take a moment to scroll down and see how long it is. Enough said?
[/ QUOTE ]
I got this far into it - scrolled down & lol'd. PhiloticKnight has delivered once again. I will enjoy reading this thing in it's entirity when I get some rest.
Please, please, please you have the reply to "r u healr?" question as "Yes, unslotted and not counting set bonus effects, I heal a base of 0.42% health / second, thanks for asking" -
A thought occurs: (And I don't feel like reading all 27 pages to this point so my apologies if this has been brought up already...) the 100 person limit... is that per-server or gamewide? The reason I ask is... could this possibly be a veiled (No pun intended) attempt at testing out a cross-server functionality on the sexy new server hardware? Or, will they be going to each server in order and acting out the ceremony or what?
I don't know but it'd be pretty neat if this were a prelude to a "serverless" experience that was alluded to a while back.
PS I'm not really interested in the new emotes / costumes so I won't be spending my cash on it but more power to ya'll that are. -

Running Faster!
When the attack on the hami nucleus begins, an announcer (either the Raid Leader or another leader) should move to the Saferock and track Hami's health. Announce to the raid the following information each time (depending which bloom it is):
[/ QUOTE ]
Some potential raid leaders have asked me, "How do you know what Hami's health is to call it out?"
When at the saferock, target Hamidon (TAB through targets until you have him). Then put your cursor over his health bar in the target window and wait 3 seconds. The actual health number will appear.

Go into your options menu & change the tooltip delay to 1% - this will give you near-instant updates on the moseover popups (This also affects your powers tray so be forewarned). -
I kept picturing Back Alley Brawler making "jazz hands" and singing "Mammy" during that one TFII interview.
Jazz handins with gigantic robotic piston hands would be pretty cool though. -
It's all a Nemisis plot you know
Seriously though this sounds real nice... as far as the XP smoothing I'm thinking that maybe I'll finally get all those 39s to 40 and beyond... -

LOL!
Hmmm
Hey Jim, what are you going to be for Halloween.
Jim: A large floating jello mold. That glows in the dark!
Nice.
Jim: I'm sure to win every costume contest.
Because you're costume glows in the dark?
Jim: No because my costume is so large it'll kill the DPS in every zone. They'll have to let me win!
Jim, you're a villain aren't you?
Jim: Yeah, why?
I thought as much.

DPS = Damage per second
I think you wanted FPS - Frames Per Second -
The ingame titles show up as yellow text over your name. You would see them only if your own player name was turned on in the display options (I'm pretty sure of this). To see what it looks like, look at the avatar for Hobo_Fruitsalid on the forums. He's got a special title shown.

Ok this appears to have been solved on that other thread
"TroyHickmanWroteDialogForSmokeAndMirrorsMissi ons" is what people are getting. -
Grrrr.... since Positron seems to be really enjoy being cryptic....

yea... don't post anything in the The City Scoop! ~ Discussion ~ Oct. 5, 2007 that we are instructed to use as a discussion thread or anything.... -
Stupid thing to be bringing up at 1:30 am but....
Has anyone finished the crossword puzzle from 10/05 city scoop (I read somewhere one of the clues was flat out wrong so be aware)
My thinking is this - the Silos puzzle has the infinity signs out there for a reason (The puzzle is an image with "Silos Puzzle" as the tooltip help) - the only reason I can see for them doing it that way was for the problems some people were getting with the formatting on browsers with the morse code puzzle the issue before. If you do it as an image, everyone sees the same thing platform-independant. They wanted us to see the infinity signs.
What if: The infinity signs correlate to the puzzle where say a sign is a placeholder for a latter that intersects the image of the c/w puzzle? Just a crazy thought (Freakin' insomnia)...
Other things I noticed waaaay past my bedtime:
Silos written in leet would be 51705 - the square root of 51,705 is 227.387...... now, if we round down we get 227. 227 of course being a connection not only to Billy Dee Williams (Billy Dee! Billy Dee!) but also Michael Dorn (Worf!)! Conicidence?!? I think not!
*Puts on tin foil helmet* -
Well now the morse code message (I got "The door is open for those that have traveled" as being the phrase) from 2 city scoops ago makes sense.
[ QUOTE ]
That's the story premise, but I had to ask Matt how it was actually going to work. He told me that once a character was exposed to time travel, they receive a temporary power that allows them to open a door to a new area, the Oroboros Citadel. While there, there are two different kinds of mission.
[/ QUOTE ]
This was taken from the MMORPG.com interview with Positron.
Also, notice how the images of the Orobors base pictured in the I11 teaser section of CoH.com looks a lot like a sundial? -

*woosh* I have know idea what you just said

I was inferring that if you keyed the numbers you got onto a telephone it'd play the hook (Repeating "catch" part) of the late disco era song Funkytown. (Also a secondary reference to South Park but I won't go there). You can play "Jingle bells" on a telephone by keying 3 3 3 3 3 3 3 5 1 2 3 for example.
Yea - I'm wierd. -
OMG It's the hook to Funkytown
do do do doot doot do doo doo doo doot!
(I kid, I kid) -
Ok here is what I have so far... go back an issue and look at the classafieds.

The Menders of Ouroboros seem to be recruiting and the recent puzzle seems to have something to do with that.
