Well I'm a Kin/Dark defender. I won't sugarcoat it for ya. Dark blast as PN put it sucks. There are 3 good powers in dark. dark blast, gloom and TT. Snipe, well just aint really worth it in pvp in my opinion but hey to each their own. The rest just suck....

Now for the -acc well its not overpowered but 1 vs 1 you can stack the debuffs pretty well if you don't get held. Mind you I have all 3 attacks slotted with 3 or 2 -acc enhancements. It makes for slow killing in a 1 vs 1 situation but in some cases give you the upper hand.

Ah afraid I wont be on at the set time. Good luck though!

I haven't made test available after new format. Just to lazy to do it as I hardly use it but can do if you really want a duel with me.

I mostly play squishy support AT but always willing to give 1 vs 1 a try.

Aye there aren't many of them or domi's as mentioned in pvp zones. They are tough though when coupled up or can be in certain situations.

I can name a few situation where I have been coupled up with a defender with my defender and same goes for my corrupter. Alone they are quite vulnarable but if they back each other up they can accomplise a lot.

I can name a few example, one with my defender i was teamed with Tylantia and TAILMAN and we stood our ground against....what was it fellas? help me out here hehe, 6-8 villains? and took them a while to take us down.

Same goes for my corrupter. I have to give kudos to Haz-mat, a dark corrupter i was teamed with for the first time in Sirens the other day. I don't know if it was first time in sirens but it was on that toon it seems as his rep was at 0 but he sure acted like a vet He stood his ground with me against 5 or so Scrappers while the rest of our group was hiding either in the base or on oilrigs etc. while we had them debuffed and I was yelling for the team to come help us (most others would prolly have retreated). Funny enough one of em was saying, "looks like a gank fest down there". Took them a while to realise we were surviving against them but with the debuffs going/healing we had no endurance left to do much offensively but finally they came and helped us and we fought em off.

Just a few examples I've had where teamed we can accomplish much but alone we are quite vulnarable and of course depends on what you are up against.

Thats also why I have the most respect for people that come to Sirens or other pvp zones playing one of the more 'squishy' AT as its not easy and it takes a lot of patience

Aye shouldn't have problems getting teams with a kinetic really. Not these days, maybe if it was back in the beginning of CoH's days. Then it was almost impossible, you'd almost have to lie when people send you tells asking if you are an empath defender and say 'Yes' and hope they wouldn't notice that you weren't lol

I think the reason there are so few, is that the majority of pvp done from villain side is by stalkers. The heros tend to be more varied and support each other more. The corruptors and dominators dont really turn up since they tend to be just seen as buff/control and then left to be murdered by the heros as the visable soft target.

Sadly I think this puts off a lot of corrs/doms from pvping much. Of course there arent many doms around in the first place, and I think they could probably do with be looked at a little

Agree, everyone seems to want to be the tough cookie thats hard to take down or/and the dmg dealing type for that 'yay I rock' feeling.

I'd just like to add that I think its pretty much just whine. They aren't underpowered. They just lack support classes in the PvP zones. How often do you actually see a corrupter or domi or even mm in there? although more MM are going it seems.

Heroes have controllers even though they lack defenders in pvp zones most of the time. Then again controllers are a pretty well rounded support class in PvP as well as PvE

imo not worth slotting for the end drain. Stick to heal/rec and acc in that one. the end drain is so minimal its not worth it.

Repel, well I have it on my defender for one reason only. To prevent AS as much as possible in PvP. Personally if i was playing a corrupter I would skip the power for something more useful.
