Werd. I see a spawn when i'm on a team, it gets Inferno if it's up. Blue, Consume, turn on Fire shield and carry on. Every time it's up.

I'm not ranting. I'm simply tired of attempting to explain my point of view to people who will ignore most of what I say. And it's hardly a baseless assumption that would be how future Incarnate slots are going to work. Aside from a recent mention of "Incarnate trials" in one of the dev posts or announcements, it's how pretty much every other MMO does it.

We got very little non-Incarnate content in this issue. A handful of Tips missions, several of which bug out on me quite often. And Inherent Fitness. And a handful of buggy Zone Events in Praetoria, I suppose, although I don't have any characters for whom those are relevant at this point. I'd be willing to bet that Issue 20 has even less, and that if it includes new costumes at all, they'll be TF unlocks for the new Incarnate trials. I'm not expecting any content that any of my characters can actually use until at least Issue 22 at this point.

If people like the new TFs and want even harder ones, fine. Have fun. I don't care. What I DO care about is being excluded from new powers and content entirely. The rest of the game doesn't cease to exist, but from my point of view, any content that requires an Incarnate TF to unlock is irrelevant. So in Issue 20, I expect to have exactly nothing to look forward to at this point. I'll most likely never get any of the interesting new powers that it looks like the later Incarnate slots will offer, like special AoEs and pets and whatever else, so I can't even enjoy playing around with them in normal missions.

Some Masterminds are decent at normal content. Tankerminds might even be good at it, although I wouldn't know. I hate the playstyle required to make a Tankermind work, so I don't have any. Masterminds don't steamroll EBs though, especially not melee EBs that can wipe out the entire Tier 1 with a single AoE attack. In any case, I'm clearly not as awesome as you, so I should just uninstall the game right now, right?
The MM in my sig is by no means a tankermind, mostly SOs slotted. Yet he was the easiest of my 3 50s to get past Trap. Throw darkest night on Trap, henches in BG, attack Trap. Henches retaliate when he hits me. Trap spawns clones, send off GKs to deal with em. Repeat as needed, support henches with secondary. Profit.

That same MM, again still not a tankermind, did and does steamroll EBs. Most MMs i've seen can. Sure, the ones with aoes are a bit of bother...but saying that MMs cant steamroll EBs is flat out false.
  3. What they said. My namesake has done the most raids of any of my characters. Granted, he can still fight a bit when mezzed, being a blaster, but death is rarely...who am I kidding; death is never a concern . Especially considering there's my team and usually 2 others. There's almost more green numbers floating up in the raids I've been on than there are Rikti, and my buff bar has more symbols than I have powers, it seems.
  4. Not seeing how mez protection has anything to do with getting the merits for a vanguard heavy.

I think it would be fair to assume that endgame content is going to be treated differently from the 1-50.

It never was. It never will be. There's always going to be someone that can't, due to build/playstyle/mars being in retrograde, complete some content on their own.
  7. It's almost a shame it's so much easier to level in the game that it was at launch. I think everyone would benefit if they were to run a blaster (or other squishy) to 50 under the old xp/debt rates before experiencing the melee ATs

The devs need a figurative kick in the face to take action. Perhaps the sub numbers over the next few months as well as the data coming from the two TFs and the upcoming raid will do the job before the game gets too many boot marks and bruises.

    .
That's not even remotely a realistic expectation in this situation. There's an entire sub team of devs and a whole new boxed expansion involved in this end-game. The subs are going to, as they pretty much always do, stay relatively stable. More likely than not, they're going to tick up due to the new box. I'm betting that, as with all of the other stuff that was "too hard" the new content will be figured out and practically farmed in due time.

My suggestion to you, is to play the old content you enjoy and pretend the endgame stuff doesn't exist. The rest of the dev team will still be adding to 1-50, so ya got that to look forward to, and there's still 30 level of stuff to come in Praetoria. Or, go play something else...Incarnates and tougher content to challenge them are coming...feeling as if you're the only person the devs should focus their attentions on is just going to end in disappointment for you.

Hmm...looks like that farming is coming sooner rather than later See pumbumbler's post here

I never got to see the original version but I had no idea that "Reboot" , was a 90s Tron. With that in mind, i was able to pick up a lot of things really fast that probably left my friends for a loop since they pretty much follow the same rules. I wanted a lot more action but i guessing that it was going stay an "eye-candy" movie and probably Disney couldn't turn it into an action flix without some angry parents somewhere. I hope there is a sequel!
Yeah. That was Daft Punk. They also did the soundtrack.
  10. It's the more subtle depth of field style of 3D, a'la Avatar. Saw it in Imax, and am going again tonight.
  11. And once again Arcana explains it all... did you have a tween show on Nick in the 90s?

Seriously. Why are you still here? Judging from your posts, you don't like the game as it was, you don't like the game as it is, and you don't trust the devs to do anything in the future that you will like. So why continue to pay your sub?
  13. 168 mil into the thing and no one thought to get professional grade flying rigs?
  14. Just for my own edification...generally speaking, in order to determine if a story has a pole hole, one needs to have seen/heard/read said story in it's entirety, right? Because otherwise, one might have missed a part of the story that explains a potential incongruity...that *is* how it's supposed to work, right?
  15. This is funny....I don't think I've ever seen someone so passionately argue the "flaws" of a movie they haven't seen.

I don't actually have a bad computer, either, so let's not say things like "buy a better PC." Give me 3 grand and I will. Otherwise, no.
    Who said 10-12? I said 3-4.

I also don't get why some have called the rest of us liars when we report having significantly different experiences when fighting Trapdoor. I think enough people have reported the variations in experience to convince you that we aren't just making stuff up to vex you.
Personally, I want the devs to continue on the path of trying new encounter mechanics.

If my memory serves me correctly... I'd say you can bank on getting 150-350 or so on one Mother Ship Raid.

People often do two or three in a row. Then you're likely to reach around those numbers.

And that is still a great amount.
Yes, the discrepancy between earning VG merits any other way is crazy (not saying it needs to be changed. It's just a huge difference).

I just don't recall ever pulling in 700 (not even 500) on one single mother ship run.

As I said though... 200 is a nice chunk for one run.
    Maybe my estimate is low.
I think 500 might be possible on one run, but honestly, I haven't looked to see how many I've gotten in a long while (back when I was working on specific things). Now I just get VG merits and don't even check, hehe.

If I am wrong, I apologize, but the 700 number doesn't sound right.
Yeah, thinking about it, that might have been a session of raids...either way though, merits drop faster than inspirations once you're in the middle of that ship.

Either way, I've never gotten anywhere near that number of merits for doing anything in the RWZ. I'd probably have to add the V-merits earned across all my characters who've been through the RWZ content to get more than 1,000. I did a lot RWZ grinding with my Brute in order to buy a few costume pieces I wanted, so he's probably responsible for half the V-merits I've earned. I never saw anything in the triple digits except after days and days of missions and arcs.

As a Member of Vanguard, (after the arcs) on a team, with 2 other full teams and a smattering of others, 700-1000 merits is completely a normal amount for a single raid. And since they're quick, there's usually 3-4 run back to back...at least on virtue.

I will certainly admit the iPad isn't a full fledged computer in a lot of ways, but it is far more than just a reader.

I think it stands, as the OP is looking at it to use primarily as an e-reader.

  23. Yeah, god forbid the devs try something new with a boss...nah, much better they stick with the bag o' hps

I need to pick of the Evolution game. Even with the bad reviews from Game Informer, I hardly believe what critics say, since I take their reviews as an under-the-table-payment-for-higher-reviews grain of salt.

Oh, and that keyboard is amazing.

The new game isn't bad. The story line falls in between the 2 movies. The graphics aren't the greatest, it's a solid game, but it's hella short. Very assassin's creed/prince of persia freerunning/parkour type gameplay. Team multiplayer is a good time.
  25. I dug it. Bridges as CLU looked good....unlike Prof. X in Wolverine.
