I'm not really sure where to post this but here it is, I'm looking for more global friends to team with. Since I started this game back in '05 I got a good global list built up but more often than not most of them are greyed out.
I need some new ppl to team with. Doing the solo farming thing is getting dull. I have most of my toons on pinnacle and freedom with a scattering of lowbies on other servers.
I'm a good player that tries to maximize the teams effectiveness and would be a great benefit to your team if you choose it.
Send me a tell at @funda if you're lookin for a new friend.
*edit* If this is in the wrong section plz be gentle with the flame -
Welcome back AG.
I seem to remember seeing that name around pinn back in the day.
This is @Funda btw.
I only served a 4 month tour in Kuwait during my active duty so my hat's off to you for surviving 2 tours in hell.
Happy gaming -
I'd like to see something done with serum and something done with the recharge in the pet powers.
Anything less would be uncivilized. lol -
I don't think it's as necissary to have on a bots/traps as a merc/traps. The bots have 2 healers already so that helps there. I have it on my merc/traps and it's part of my drop chain. It's more help to pets that don't come with or have a lot of def slotted IMO.
-
There's always the option to use the attacks for a set mule. I use boxing for a set mule but rarely do I even let it be on my tray to use.
-
Merc's need a buff!!
*spots incoming nerf hammer*
Oh snap....
*ducks*
Haha ya missed me!
Merc's need a bu*POW*
Oh God what did I do?!?!?!
All my merc's are now medic's and the commando is dressed up like the Easter bunny, ears and all.
Seriously though, they need a looking at. -
I can attest that a dark/ice defender is something that can really make a team roll. My toon is only sitting at 35 and every team I got on was amazed at how much the pace picked up. All of them were sad to see me go when it was time to log. Even heard a few say "we cant do it without him!"
Good combo. I'm considering going with dark app for soul drain awesomeness. -
I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's my browser. There's been about a dozen times now that I've tried to view a forum post, random posts, and all I get is a white screen. I try to reload the page multiple times but still stuck with a white screen. I've tried closing the browser and reopening it but still getting a white screen.
This is a mildly annoying issue. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
My browser is Comodo Dragon v4.1.1.12 -

Well if nobody else is having problems with seeds hitting the whole mob then maybe the mob AI doesn't like me. I find that if I map out my freak farm, done so I don't have to face boss's when I'm PLing my 2nd account, the mob has a tendancy to wander around a bit. They wander far enough away from their spawn point that it feels like I have to round them all up. Maybe I should go with fly for my travel. Using seeds from above would cover more area than if it were used on the ground. That might compensate for the wandering I'm seeing in the mob AI.

Unfortunatly with the purple recipe it doesn't boost the range on it. To really make it help me group them better it needs a longer range. I've never been one to jump on the confuse herding bandwagon, altho I have seen a plant dom clear the cim wall with ease. His range was long enough to hit a whole line standing.
If I slot for range in it I would be more apt to go that route but I was going for the ranged def bonus of the purple set. -
Ok I decided to go with the build to see how it goes. Here's how it's slotted currently, still have the last purple confuse to craft. Even without that last 5% ranged def it plays ok. The recharge proc in Psy Nado proc's a lot more than I ever noticed using Fissure.

Let me know what you think. So far I believe it's doable and I really like the force feedback proc going off a lot. Needs more testing. -
Quote:Does anyone have any advice for my pet idea?I'm tossing around the idea to dump ID, was chosen instead of the pets cuz I had to put the pet slots elsewhere, and get the pet back with 6 slots and just eat a small purple to softcap.
With maneuvers slotted the way it is and both def uniques slotted in the pet would that improve it's survivability enough to warrant doing that?
I was going to slot it with 3xsoulbound w/build up proc, Achilles heel -resist, and the 2 pet def uniques. -
Here's a thought.
What if they made Warburg into a co-op pvp zone? Mix it up on teams seeing as how it's a free for all zone why limit it to hero only teams and villain only teams? -
I guess you could say I'm going for an unconventional farm build. My strategy so far is to open with roots, unless there's 2 mobs close together then I open with creepers, then out come the creepers. While the baddies are busy with the creepers I get in closer and hit FS back up and keep spamming roots and Psy tornado while putting all my ST attacks on the harder targets. Even though I have Seeds I don't use it that much unless things really go south. That's my Oh S**t button if vines is not up.
I do realize that without stamina I'll have to fire off transference every time it's up. Getting in close doesn't bother me much with the mez prot and the resists from tough and mind over body, that build has 60.9% S/L resist.

I've had a plant/kin at 50 for a little while now and I'm currently spec'd with roughly 46% S/L def, I dont have a mids build for that one.
I tinkered around with mids to see if I could manage to get to the ranged softcap. I'm sure I could with some creative slotting but I think this build should allow me to be close enough without shorting myself elsewhere. I went with Psy app for the mez protection. Very tired of being mezzed while farming Freaks.
Very doubtful I'll change slotting on carrion creepers.
Tear it apart and let me know if I can rearange any slots or sets for more ranged def.

Quote:Not to rain on your parade but to my knowledge slotting end redux in the upgrade powers only works on your end. Does nothing to reduce end cost in pet powers. So I tried double slotting Equip n Upgrade and loading em with heavy end reduction. They SLOWED down the end burn, but they still ran dry. I finally thought, "Would end reduction on the Commando STACK with Equip n Upgrade?" IT DID! I created a Commando That WOULDN'T BURN OUT. Kinda scary actually.

Beats this dead horse with my medics helmet, which I found rolling towards me after he turned into the suicidal combat engineer that I believe he really is and bum rushed that mob of Longbow over there.
I trained in the army to be a 12B combat engineer. That job involved taking a bag of highly explosive material and run it up through a live mine field while dodging bullets and artillary shells just to lay the explosives next to the mines so there can be a path cleared for the batallion of M1 Abrams tanks that are hauling butt to my location. Fun job but the life expectancy of the average engineer was about 12 seconds into the mine field. Kind of suicidal really....... I wonder if that makes me suicidal?
One of the upgrades to the medic must be the combat engineer mentality. No soldier that's not a bag of C4 I just handed you IT'S A FIRST AID KIT!!!!! GET BACK IN LINE MAGGOT!! -
I suggest using a temp raptor pack. Flying straigh up will only leave the pet to circle your dot on the ground.
