Hi Everyone!

So, in part 2 of Freitag's Movie Review Madness (yes, I just made that up!), I watched Back to the Future Part 1 last night!

This movie was laden with improbabilities, time stream pollution, and carelessness on the part of the main character! Does he have any concept of chaos theory, the butterfly effect, and so on!? The temporal prime directive was violated no less than 18 times, making him a worse offender than ..

oh wait, who am I kidding?

This movie was AWESOME! I really loved it. It was much better than I expected it to be, I laughed a lot, and there were twists I totally didn't see coming. The running gags were great (life-preserver, muahaha), and it was great to see everything end up on a positive note at the end!

One thing that struck me in particular was that it seems like Marty is in a stable relationship, which seems to be less and less common in movies these days. In general, characters (well, maybe not Biff [Side-Note, this is the first time I've seen someone named Biff since the Hardy Boys, and it's awesome!], but most people!) seemed a bit more mature, although Lorraine was a bit ... creepy T_T.

Anyway, I will watch number II and III in due time, but next up is Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure! I've always been a fan of Keanu Reeves (yup, I said it!), so this should be a treat!

Hi everyone!

How appropriately timed Bubbawheat! I just got done watching Conan the Barbarian, from 1982 starring the one and only Arnold Schwarzenegger. I'd wanted to see it for a while, but now I've seen it in full, and I have come to report!

This was definitely a fun movie. I didn't think Arnold could give speeches that long! I'm just kidding ;-). But this movie definitely had among the least amount of dialogue I've ever seen in a movie. It makes up for it with fairly impressive visuals, as well as copious amounts of fanservice. They sure made movies differently back then! I had heard the primary quotable line from the movie already:

Chaque vendredi (à l'exception des vacances et jours fériés) une nouvelle histoire sera commencée par l'un des membres de l'équipe communautaire sur les forums de City of Heroes Freedom™. Pour participer, il vous faudra continuer cette histoire avec une seule phrase. Pour ce faire, créez une réponse au message précédent en y incluant la partie de l'histoire qui s'y trouve et rajoutez-y votre phrase. Vous êtes autorisé(e) à poster 3 fois au maximum dans chaque fil créé pour ce concours. vous serez disqualifié(e) si vous postez plus de 3 fois.

Attention ! Pour valider une histoire et permettre à une personne de gagner, le fil qui y est dédié doit contenir plus de 5 réponses !

Vous aurez jusqu'à 22 H 00, heure de France pour poster votre participation. Après 22 H 00, heure de France, la participation gagnante sera automatiquement déterminée par les membres de l'équipe communautaire et/ou celle de développement de Paragon Studios.

Bob n'était pas le type à s'engager dans des actions politiques mais il se rendit à la manifestation dans les locaux de la TPN. Il était un gars ordinaire jusqu'au jour où il se rendit compte qu'il était immunisé contre le contrôle des télépathes!

Welcome to “Tell a Story!”! Every Friday (except holidays), a member of the community team will post the beginning of a story on the Official City of Heroes® Message Board that you can continue. To participate you will have to continue the story with one single sentence. To do that you will create a Reply post to the previous post and include the story content of that post before adding your sentence. You are allowed a maximum of 3 different posts in the thread, any more and you will be automatically disqualified.

Please note! For a Tell a Story thread to qualify and for a win to be validated, the story must have at least 20 posts!

Bob was never really one for political action, but something compelled him to go to the protests at the TPN Campus. He was just an ordinary guy, until he realized that he was immune to the Telepathists' control!
