I think weave gives me ranged defence too, which can only be a bonus. Im aiming for as much defense as possible, and only use my SS powers for gauntlet/aggro.
This build is not really meant to be solo'd at all. -
Thanks. Might transfer/copy this tanker onto the test server and give aid self a spin.
Might have to wait for a couple of levels so that I have enough slots etc. to play around with but I will definately give it a go.
What do you suggest taking aid other or stimulant so that I can get aid self? -

I am currently at lvl34 on my INV/SS tanker and want to make him have the highest defence and status protection as possible. This includes me taking all of the INV powers and some power pool powers to help with this.
This is a team build and as such not much of a heavy hitter (just enough to provide some gauntlet taunts).

Just for the extra status protection (as I have been mezzed before) I was toying with the idea of removing rage and putting in accrobatics for the extra KB and hold protection.
Will having accrobatics provide any benefit to my build at all? (perhaps later for PVP?) or would I be best sticking to rage?

Oh nice. Got an invice tanker that is lvl33. Lets hope spamming taunt is good enough to get teams over double xp weekend.

Im still at work atm, has anyone tested taunt aura's at all with the new patch to see if they work?
According to the patch notes gauntlet should now be working but no word on aura's. -
A blaster is for life, not just for xmas!
Or switch blaster for whatever AT you wish. -

Hi,
I have asked this before but my search-fu is weak today
Your two main end drain powers are short circuit and power sink. Firing these two off in a group will drain all of their end, with the benefit of giving you end because of power sink (even if the mob has no end left, power sink still gives you end at the normal rate).
I personally have not tried this yet, but will soon (in a level or so). As a test, I have slotted tesla cage for end mod too, and it can drain just under a 1/4 of end from a mob, but to be honest, once you have reached power sink levels all your other powers should be enough to keep them at 0 end on their own... at least till they are "arrested" shortly after.
I recommend slotting for damage and accuracy, recharge or end reduction if you need more endurance but with power sink you should have all the end you need with all the mobs standing around in convenient little groups -

I have a quick question about power sink. If you use the short circuit and powersink combo drains all the endurance from a mob.
With powersink, it gives you the endurance. So my question is this.. does powersink link to how much endurance the mob has? for example, if they have only a bit of endurance and you use powersink do you only get a bit of endurance back?
I expect it is not linked and you get the full amount but I just wanted to check.

On a serious note, ty for the info. My build is pretty tight atm for powers hence the post to try to decide if I should take this over another power.
I think I may avoid this (perhaps I might transfer my char to test to try it out at a later date, but probably wont) and get something more useful.

Hi,
I am taking Electric Mastery and am undecided about EM Pulse. Mainly, should I take it and if so how to slot it.
I believe it drains endurance and HP regneration, plus only really does damage against robots.
So with that in mind, is it worth taking? Is the -HP regen worth taking to use agains AV's? Is it just so incredibly pants that I should avoid it at all costs?

What I might do is copy him over to the test box when I reach that level and try out what works. If I do it as I level up (with 2 slots available) I should be able to test it with 1, 2, and 3 end reductions.

Hi,
Im new to blasting, and having got a scrapper, tanker, and a controller I am looking to make a blaster. The elec/elec blaster caught my eye so I made a quick build to see how it goes.

Im currently playing an Ill/Kin troller and have come to a dilemma. I plan to get Speed Boost, and Increase Density however I am unsure which one to get first.
Which one will help my and a team better? I plan on getting either sb, then spectral terror, then ID, but am unsure if it would be better to swap the order of SB and ID.
Please can I have your opinnions. -

At the moment, thats all of my shields etc. that I have on my tank as I have just reached lvl23. -
Hi,
I remember being swarmed by a load of yellow inks (cant be sure now tho) and seeing them all do the whriling pink pom-pom's of death/disorient on me. Thats when I had all my toggles dropped, spinning head animation, and quickly follwed by death. -

I have been playing my lvl23 tanker for a while now and have come up against Tsoo and tanked a few for the team.
Is it just my set (inv/ss) that has a problem with Tsoo yellow ink as they easily drop my toggles! I find unyealding to do little to help this and find it very difficult (if not impossible) to tank yellow inks!
There were a lot of them beating on me (not causing much damage) but should their disorients stack like that and does any other tank type have the same problem as INV?
I feel pretty useless against Tsoo yellow inks, and want to know if I am going to have problems against DE or any other NPC's that have disorients.
