Thank you - I was especially pleased with the way Spiritess turned out.
Have more to post so will try to get them done over the weekend. -
-
Been mucking around with photoshop (absolute newbie to the whole photoshop thing) and come up with the following images based on a couple of SG toons. Let me know what you guys think.
Interlink - Hero
Spiritess - Hero
FrIce - Hero
Hell's Rage - Hero (before turning evil and becoming Hell's Vengeance)
Hell's Vengeance - Villain
Lord Baphamel - Villain
Cheers. -
Aye Spiritess is in (as dicussed in game). May be hung over so will be a good fight for me
Especially if the Eminators are working again by then
-
Damn blast an buggeration!

*mutter* buggrit *humff* -
This is a warning going out to all members of the Seekers of Intrinity. Longbow agents have finished tallying the names of villains who have recently escaped from the Zig. It seems the Seekers mortal (or should that be immortal) enemy "Lord Baphamel" is one of those listed in the breakout.
When Lord Baphamel first appeared on the streets of Paragon he seemed to take it upon himself to track down members of Intrinity in some sort of personal vendetta. He built up a large cult following that would make the customs of the Circle of Thorns seem like a party at Disney.
I (Spiritess) have been in talks with Longbow representatives and can confirm sightings of him in the Rougue Isles. It has also been confirmed that he has already formed a small group of devout followers wiling to go to any lengths to fulfill his plans for Intrinity. So far it seems that Lord Recluse is unaware of the full dangers Lord Baphamel poses otherwise he would take extra measures with his Archnos troops to bring him down.
I urge all members of Intrinity to be extra vigilant when patrolling the streets or organizing a task force. Please watch your backs.
Safe crimefighting,
Spiritess.
Additional: As extra confirmation of the above the following signs have been appearing round the city. I sense dark times ahead.
Posters seen in Paragon -
Use @Spiritess, will be on as Spiritess. Could do with those two badges. Best nights for me are tonight (20th) or Thursday (from about 8pm). Or at some point on Saturday/Sunday (but can't give a definate time).
Willing to take part in any other badge hunts as well (need quite a few of them - especially GMs) -

Yeah, that really gets on my nerves...we have like 5 'The's.

Same here, really getting on my nerves too
Luckily I haven't suffered from any "base kicking" or "base rubberbanding" or base "holes in the floor" since I added an extra 512MB of RAM to my PC (taking me to a Gig).
I have reported many base bugs but never had any responses - come to think of it all the /bugs /petitons I have logged lately have had no responses other than the standard "thank you" email. -
Noticed the same on Union - actually had a team of 5 SG members running through several missions yesterday after a looooooooong time of no SG members being about (all on CoV). 7 high level missions one afer the other and no faceplants. It's good to have the guys back.
-
Question - in the Infirmary pic how did you get the ramps to place side by side? Every time I try the edit screen won't let me, I have to leave a gap of greater than the width of one ramp between each.

The "Seekers of Intrinity" is a very friendly Union Supergroup with a memebrship of almost 40 heroes (some of which are completely insane) of all levels and abilities.
Anyone can request to become a member but only the three SG leaders (Spiritess, Draxion and Sir Blood) can recruit the requesting hero after being vetted during several missions.

The website link from the original post above is now redundant. Please update any bookmarks to the new Seekers of Intrinity website address;

Always looking for new members. Feel free to give any member of the SG a shout ingame (not just the three mentioned above) if you're looking to join.
Hope to hear from you.

Count Spiritess in for the next one - not this comming Sunday tho, gotta take the animals to the vets. Let me have some advance notice of the next one and I'll ensure real life is shoved away in a dark box.
Glad you made it through on Sunday just gone. -
Damn and blast real life. It's getting in the way tomorrow so I won't be about for the 11am start up. Will try and catch you later in the day for any additional TFs you may run. Bugger, damn, blast ............
Additional: Haven't made it to lvl35 anyway so won't be able to join TF because of being too low a lvl. -
Well FrIce is still 27 and will need to do some serious lvling and TFs so we'll arrange something in the near future
Bummer about your working hours on Sunday -
Nooooooooooooooooo BB is half the fun on these TFs. Get yourself to 35 now!
-
Thanks again for last night - made lvl34. IF I can make the 500+K to 35 I'll be sorted for Sunday. You batter have a back-up name incase I don't make 35.
-
What happens next is I have another boring day in work and come up with the rest of the story
-
Thanks for the team-up last night Doc (and Gamma X) nearly at lvl34 (120K off the mark). If we can cary on like this I should be 35 for Sunday. Oh how I love your organised TFs. Always fun and everyone knows exactly their roles within the group.
Anyone new to the TF teaming I recomend watching Doc in battle - not much that gets past her -
Well I finally did it, I wrote an origin story to one of my ALTs - Spiritess (Magic Controller Union). I'm not the best author in the world so please be gentle with me
Spiritess - Origin
==================
Marianne Fairfax a quiet soul. Never late for work, always remembers colleagues birthdays, living alone in one of the many apartment blocks located in Steel Canyon.
The day started just like any other Monday. Marianne navigated through the bustling crowds of commuters as usual, inwardly laughing at the tourists goggling at the costumed heroes flying and bouncing across the landscape.
Work turned into the usual dance of smiling politely at the students of the University whilst simultaneously biting her tongue not to say what was really on her mind. After all she had been told time and again from her supervisor these bright young students will be our future! Our future! God help us all. Maybe the rumours she heard about the Rogue Isles have the right idea.
The day finished with Marianne tired and drained as usual, not looking forward to the trek home. The lunchtime news report stated her usual route had been closed due to a swarm of the strange Clockwork tearing up the road gathering parts for whatever their hidden agenda is. The resultant battle between the clockwork and the latest hero team fad, according to the newscaster, had caused some considerable damage to the surrounding area. Sometimes I wonder if these heroes are really worth all the trouble thats caused.
Marianne had to take a route she was not familiar with. Head down to avoid making contact with the eyes of the crowded streets as much to avoid the early evening raid. Unfortunately for Marianne this act of isolation would be the cause of a bigger problem than just facing the fight home for yet another wet Monday.
Without really knowing the layout of the streets she now followed it was inevitable for her to take a wrong turn - straight into the path of a group of brightly coloured robed men. At first Marianne thought she had stumbled into yet another team of costume clad vigilantes. Making her mumbled apologies she turned to leave. She did not get very far.
This one has the power inside her! hissed one of the men, grabbing her by the shoulders and pulling her back round.
I feel it too! croaked another.
Now that Marianne had become fully aware of her surroundings she realised what she had stumbled across. These robed figures had appeared on television and in the press many, many times over the years. Known as the Circle of Thorns, a cult of demon worshipers, they act on pure evil and show now mercy to those that they seek. Marianne felt completely helpless as one of the figures, obviously a cult leader from the intricate gold details of his robes, rose up before her the palms of his hands held out and a green flame burning in his eyes. It was all she could do just to stay conscious as she was carted away by the leaders guards to some secret location.
Everything around her was a blur of colours, unable to make out any familiar shapes she allowed herself to be taken away. She could hear sounds voices, the guards and their leader discussing what was to become of her? Maybe, but there were other sounds too, voices of a different kind fighting amongst themselves in some distant far away place, looking to be the chosen for this body.
When Marianne gathered some clarity of her surround again she realised her feet were no longer touching the ground, but nothing was physically holding her either. Everything seemed to be tinged green and it wasnt until a few moments had passed that she realised she was being held aloft in a green fire. The word fire crossed though her mind and caused her to panic. IM ON FIRE! she screamed. After a few moments of struggling to break free of the flames she realised she didnt actually feel at all hot. In fact the fire was cold, as of a winter night. Then the voices started again. First a chant was raised from the blurred figures she could see through the flames. In return this was taken up with the distant voices. Hundreds - deep, distant, cold.
Within the cold of the flame she could feel something else, something touching the back of her consciousness feeling for a way through. Something ancient from before the dawn of mankind.
Then, like a bolt of pure brilliant light, the groping evil found its entrance. Searing through Mariannes mind like a comet it looked for something. With each pass it made within her sub-conscious Marianne could feel her conscious grip slipping away. The very essence that was her drifted further and further back through the void.
It felt like Marianne had been in this void for an eternity. The real world no longer held any meaning. New insights and truths were being made available to her. It all made so much sense now. The wars and disasters. The rise of super powered individuals. Life. Everything was made so plain and simple to her now. With this knowledge at her disposal she could become so much more.
Then she could sense something else, a shining beacon of selfless honour. It pierced through the shroud that now enveloped her. Concentrating on this point of purity she began to block out all other influences trying to clear her mind and focus in on what was happening. She sped through the endless depths of this new found knowledge towards this point. Faster than light. Faster than time. Faster than thought. I must know what this is! Why do I not know anything about it, when I know all that there is to know here?
As she moved closer her conscious self became more prominent, strengthening her grasp on returning to reality and losing the addictive hold of the black. An unearthly scream shot past her returning back into the depths of the void. The eon long frustration and anger it released tearing at her very mind.
Then a feeling hit her, something tangible. It seemed like an eternity had passed since she last had solid contact. What is that? Marianne racked her memory, So familiar; strong, grasping A HAND! ITS SOMEONES HAND! With that sudden realisation came a brilliant flash of green light then darkness. A comforting dark without the watch of invisible eyes.
Sounds I can her things again! Birds, people, a voice close to me
Youre safe now miss. Youve just been rescued from a Circle of Thorns ritual, just in time by the look of things. Ill get you to a trauma team right away. Hold tight! -
If I can get Spiritess to 35 by Sunday I'm in - now all I need is to somehow get loadsa XP to go up the 1.5 lvls I need to get to 35. mmmmmmm no .... I'm not gonna succumb to Dreck or PI Spamming.
-
No worries - I'll have a word with the rest of my SG and see if anyone else is up for some "Guard Duty"
-
Then I shall have to get FrIce as high a lvl as possible ready for your RP sessions and act as air support on guard patrol - he's 27 atm so probably not much use yet.

The site is currently being hosted on Lycos till I find somewhere better to run it so I apologise in advance if the adverts bug you.
If this is the SG for you then please feel free to contact Spiritess, Draxion or Sir Blood in game. If any of the three leaders are unavailable feel free to put your request through any other SG member but please remember they do not have the authority to recruit but can pass your details on.
Additional: Still in the process of completing the members section and as it's in it's early stages the site is subject to change.
Any feedback welcomed.
