Y'know..I forget what it was called, but I seem to recall one recruiting in the D the other day.

Ah okay. Sorry I've never heard of it, till right now and I didn't see anything on it.

I dunno if anyone else has experienced this, but today I was making a new character. When I went to access the ATs I noticed the EATs were grayed out (I have a fifty on both sides, so this shouldn't happen) I was hero side at the time, so went out of the Character Creator to see if this were the case for the VEATs and it was.

I couldn't select and EAT on either side. So I logged on and off on my hero 50 and was able to select the Hero EATs easily, but not the villains till I logged onto my 50 villain and then logged off and that cured the redside problem.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I was once on a team where something 'not quite similar' but still similar enough to warrant me telling ya'll about it here happened.

We were going through a team, and one of the members mentioned he was going tomorrow to see a sonogram of his baby. Everyone in the team responded with things like 'Good for you!' 'Congratulations' ect... Then the team leader started typing in caps. Saying something to the effect of 'OMG WTF YOU GUYS! STOP BEING SARCASTIC OR I'LL <bleeping> KICK YOU FROM THE TEAM, THIS ISN'T SOMETHING YOU SHOULD BE SARCASTIC ABOUT!' ....When we all explained we weren't being sarcastic, instead of apologizing he just tossed the blame back on us with some comment 'Well that was for those who were being sarcastic, seriously it's not something to joke about!'
(Obviously my spelling is alot better than his)
Anyway.. he had to pass the star to someone else to invite someone and he was promptly kicked...

Most pen and paper players I know are part of some alternative lifestyle setup, and that's often either accompanied by its own dogma and/or leads to negative experiences with religious people. I know a whole two pen and paper players who are practicing Roman Catholics. Assuming most online RPers come from similar backgrounds, it should make for a comparable statistic.

Conversely, there is an element of scrutiny when playing something related to a major religion. ie. if your character inspired by a major religion is perceived to be satirical or just wrongly portrayed, you should be prepared to take some flack from religious players who feel offended sooner or later. Just look at Marvel pissing all over the norse pantheon in spite of there being a small but healthy following of that belief.

You gotta understand though, It's RP. I'm heavily agnostic, but I play a very religious Character who believes in God with his every fiber and his every being.

Why can't others do the same?

So alot of you know I'm infamous for one thing... Making SGs and abandoning the idea once I get bored with it, or find I can't make it happen...

And I tried to prove you all wrong... and I failed miserably. (Mostly because real life decided to beat me over the head with it's many problems)

But I joined a newly forming SG, and was promoted up to a very lofty position. Me and two other people have turned this small SG, into a very active group within just over a week. We've got a decent base and are quickly expanding.

So I've got it... I'm not meant to create SGs. That I'm horrible at, but hey... I can certainly help run them. Ironically I'm in charge if recruitment, and am doing a top notch job so far... Whereas I could never get anyone to join MY SGs.

Go figure.

Anyway Virtue, I promise I won't make any more SGs....

I used to have this program for CoX that would put the places of all the exploration badges and plaques on my map ingame. I don't remember where I got it from, but after having my computer restored I no longer have said program and would like it back. If somebody could link me to it, that'd be fabulous!

I was informed that there was nothing I could do and it'd have to wait. We got it towed... it's currently being fixed, but... it may be unfixable.. and there is no chance of me getting a new one... that was my last means of being free.... Now I'm stuck at home for the rest of my days.... Even shouting KHAN! At the top of my lungs doesn't help...

Thursday evenings are also shaky for me. Wednesday evenings are good, monday evenings, sometimes tuesday evenings, now and again sunday evenings.

I am busy friday evenings. Unpossible.

Jacques Bertrand is at level 14, almost 15 and I haven't really bothered to level him since.

Hmmm... If I can't get a Soldier up, I'll just use my brute. I'm finding the early levels a bit frustrating.

Would a Soldier be an acceptable replacement for a brute?
