AOW promotes all aspects of CoH including PvP. I personally dont like PvP'ers due to thier aggressive dont care about others attitude. I have discovered PvP players are organizing to help each other swing matches so certain players win the prizes. Like a said PvP'ers generally lack morals! So the PvP events will now be a 1 on 1 elimination style.
I am not trying to be insulting, i am just pointing out what should be obvious to you guys. If you constantly show bad behaviour then i will call you out on it. Use some common sense and we will get along fine. -

Seems like I gave this advice before about a previous super group on Champion, maybe it's time to just ignore those you don't like instead of starting all this ruckus. Just a thought. -

Why are people starting to exclude villains?
Aow did a great job in starting a trend in people not letting us villains to join them in their pvp events. it will ruin our sever if it keeps on going and is making me think of transferring. If money is the reason why villains are being excluded I am sure they would be willing to take hero money or nothing even. Also I am willing to help out getting prize money if needed even though I am still knew to this game and getting my toons set up. -

This isnt people ******** that villains were never included in an event. This is a thread where the event was changed after months of people preparing for it. I personally know of several people that have been practicing for this on villains that just got ditched, and quite rudely actually. Had she politely posted " sorry guys but due to blah blah blah we have had to sadly change the event to not include villains" it probably would have been a bit easier to swallow. Instead it was more like " you guys suck and don't count anyways so go jump off a cliff and take your sucky pvp friends with you". Surely people complaining about that is understandable and not in the same boat as just complaining about villain events in general?

I just want to make it clear that AOW is a SG! We DO NOT have experience running events that include villians. Since it is our "SG" Anniversary we want events to run smoothly for the enjoyment of our members AND the hero community.
Those who play villians have a very valid point. They too have a right to come to events even if there are not very many of them. They want to have fun and enjoy themselves as well. They work just as hard on thier characters as heroes do.
In the new year AOW will host events for both sides! -

Excluding villains from a hero event is cool, there are lots of events that don't include both sides for obvious reasons. Hosting the event in RWZ where they can attend, telling them they can attend, having many preparing for your event to then exclude them, and quite rudely doing so...not cool. -

I want the event to run fast and with as few problems as possible.
Villians add a lot of questions to the event. One was about payout and if the villz would accept infamy i agree with all of you it would not be a problem, but there would be complications such as what if you bring your vill friends or someone brings a vill team and does not have a hero alt at the last minute?
Will you have your villz and heroes already in RWZ so we don't have to wait for the alts to be logged in and arrive for payment, because then we will run into the time scheduled for the next event!
It just makes sense to exclude the villians at this point. I have run many successful events and that is because i try to make it simple.
If i had seen or run a hero/vill event before i would not be concerned, but i see the possiblity of lots of things going wronge and i am trying to make sure everything runs smoothly so you all can enjoy yourselves.
We will run another 800 Million AE Challenge early in the new year and invite villians since we will have more time to allow for any problems but with a full day of events i feel this is not the time to experiment.
and LOLZ how long dose it take for some one to switch toons. -
I think a easy fix to not having infamy is just give villains that join and win an option to pick a hero alt to receive the prize money on if they win.

I think all events should be this way after all villains just drag down this game.

I would go with bots or thugs and try to stay away from the melee pets because they have a harder time hitting people then ranged ones. -

O yeah also i am very sure that katana has more dps (damage per-second) and Ma has more burst or spike dmg.

This is off topic but since some how some one brought fc in to this. Most fc's play for fun which is fine let them. Of corse any one in zone is free game so don't expect to not be interrupted and its also really easy to go to area now use it maybe and turn of inspirations if you don't want to use them. The hard core pvp who doesn't fc playes to win. Sadly some of the pvps that play to win feel like they have to hate on the people that play for fun. I support all pvp and i wish some of the vets could grow up and do the same.
