The way teleport is now is basically designed to benefit the stone sets. If you took that away from the stone set it would not only force them to deal but make them pretty much useless to any team ever. As the only thing they could consistently for the team would be distant taunt. Forget herding, gauntlet and all the other tank things that the other tank sets take for granted. Also don’t forget the –recharge that stone tanks also deal with in addition to the –movements.

In summery TP has always been a combat travel power, I wouldn’t be opposed to lowering the end costs. But any changes other than end costs would involve a misbalance in the stone sets.

I've always understood it to be the closest bid which always was weird because you'd think highest would make more sense. All I know for sure is when sell something low (1 or 5 infl) to sell it quickly it is always lower than the previous sells, where if it was taking the highest bid it would stay the same more often.
  3. YAY new forums! I'd complain but... I was never on the old ones.

I too feel unloved and left out of the warnings. But seeing as how I've been in game forever but never on the forums I probably shouldn't complain.

When it come to what type of toon to play I feel obligated to suggest blasters for hero side, but only if you like massive damage and dyeing a lot. It is possible to solo on a blaster but unlike the scrapper it takes practice and missions will tend to go slower, as you'll have to look before you leap. Something that certain scrappers I know have problems with <_<. Don't worry Sun and FG I won't name names.

Villain side I’d go with corrupter because they essentially have the same damage of the blaster but get amazing support abilities that increase their survivability and damage output, depending on the secondary you choose.

Help chat is helpful type /hc to use it. Make as many friends as you can because while global channels are nice once you start making friends you can draw from friends lists too with out all of the Triumph Watch drama.

PS whatever you do don't roll and Ice/Ice tank

    Bye Bye Bridging

I have always made a distinction between bridging and side kicking,

Sidekick/Lackey: A person of low level whose mentor places him within the level range of the team, thus adding to the teams overall effectiveness

Bridge: Someone whose mentor is chosen to maximize xp example a 46 side kicking someone to 45 on a level 50 which creates a situation where the overall strength of the team is lower.

This leads me the difference between active power leveling, where a person will participate to the best of their ability, compared to door sitting.

Either way I don’t really see the point in forcing someone to do one or the other because no one is forcing me to team with them or participate.
