Besides which, Defense really isn't portrayed well in the game. When was the last time you say a def based char actually dodging incoming attacks? The bleeding things STILL hit, you just get a "MISS" appear in this air, or take less damage than usual...

Who cares? It's not going to be some Cthulu-alike demon you summon, that drives everyone insane/dead in seconds. It's just going to be something along the lines of fire imps or the like. Might have some fear or confuse effects, but that's probably about IT.

I'd like to know why Khelds don't get to colour THEIR powers? And don't give me any dribble about it being endemic to what they are, because the exact same reasoning can apply to green fireballs or pink ice, or yellow dark powers etc. Changing the colour of ANY of them is just as "nonsensical" as it would be for Khelds, so doesn't really apply.

I think to be fair to the Devs, GR deserves the content. The whole point of GR is to shore the game up against CO, and to really compete against the new hero MMOs that are imminent. To give a lot of free content just before a huge paid expansion would not be good business sense.

Arguably it would discourage existing subscribers from buying the new box and it's very important for the health of the game that as many people as possible do that.

This has been argued many a time. Whilst we don't pay EXTRA for issues, technically, they are NOT free. They're paid for by a portion of the money we each pay every month as part of our subs.

And yes, 3 free updates. Updates with almost zero actual story content beyond a tiny TF for i15. Great, unless you don't buy GR. In which case, less great.

I read it as allowing you to swap sets and AT's during the creation phase of your character, nothing more. Instead of having to go back several pages.
