You may be thinking of the Threat calculation Castle posted. There are modifiers to threat which can be individualized per enemy type, including (according to Castle), a 'kill the healer' variable (though all enemies currently in the game don't make any use of it)

I can't say exactly what the state of CoD is, but Red Tomax himself has been out of communication for some time now.

Vahz zombie minions have -37ft Perception. Minion base perception is 45ft, so by themselves, they can only see 8 feet ahead of them (melee range is 7ft)

The reapers have no powers which increase perception, so the increased activity in proximity to the Reapers is probably part of their AI.

Health: +40% of base (0.168% of your max health per second)
    Numina's: +20% of base (0.084%/sec)
Heal SO in Health: +33% of +40% of base (0.05544%/sec)
  6. When selecting the IO to put in a slot, simply type the level number.

The minimum character limit is 2, but it doesn't count stuff within quote tages, and I don't think it counts the URLs used for links or images. Or the tags themselves. So basically, 2 visible characters. Not sure about smilies.

I don't think I've ever heard /Fire Dominators lauded as being AoE damage powerhouses. Before the changes to Doms in general (increasing damage of most attacks, removing +dam from Domination), the combo to beat was Fire/Psi permadom, particularly with Psychic Shockwave. However, the Dom changes brought PSW down a few notches, so I can't say what the strongest Dom build is now.

Neither the empowerment station nor Aid Self provides status protection. They only provide resistance. Just like set bonuses (with the exception of knockback, which you can get protection for with both IO and empowerment buffs)

Resistance and protection are two different things.
  11. Did you buy the game with your gift card online? It may be that your card is being subject to the $/day limit imposed by NCSoft's online store.

Have you tried buying the booster pack again in the two days you were waiting for help from support? If not, I'd recommend trying now, as the issue may have just been that your account settings weren't letting you spend that much money in NCSoft's store in a single day.
  12. If you're looking for "best" as in "highest damage", the answer is Fire/Fire Blaster. If "best" is some ratio between high damage and being able to not die, then... what Silverado said. There are a lot of combinations whichcan achieve high AoE damage along with the ability to stay alive. You'll have trouble finding build with higher AoE damage than a Fire/Fire Blaster, but it's fairly easy to find a build with higher survivability (since a Fire/Fire Blaster's method of staying alive is "kill them first").

And, since you can't do damage when you're dead, it's a decision to make
  13. The only mez you can get protection from via IOs is knockback. And a single -KB IO is generally sufficient.

If you want to avoid other mezzes, your best bet is getting +def bonuses, rather than -mez bonuses (which don't exist). A mez can't affect you if the power can't hit you!
  14. I like all of the suggestions presented here, and have no objections to anyof them. Which is a fairly uncommon thing in this forum.

Last week I was pulling my hair out of the fact that my computer program was insisting to me that -15.9 =/= -15.9

(It turns out one of them was actually -15.900000000000000000000127. Stupid computers )

Considering the doors inside look like the Arena doors, and considering the error Ice_Wall pointed out, and considering its physical location, I think it's safe to assume it was meant to be a part of the arena.

I took a computer graphics course last semester. The last few chapters in the book were on splines and spline surfaces. The chapters included the math for n-dimensional splines, using linear, quadratic, cubic, quartic, and quintic interpolation, IIRC.

Of course, I forgot everything after the exam...

Some time in the relatively near future (we don't know if it will be before, with, or after Going Rogue), they're adding a feature to the game which will put remaining enemies on the minimap when you're under a certain amount left (I think it's supposed to be less than 10% left, but that's probably subject to change)
  19. All three "Clear out the Xth ruin" missions in Agent G's arc are within the Arachnos Dig Site. Following the 3rd ruin is "Get the PCM from Arachnos", which is in the Arachnos base on the southern side of the dam, just outside the southern entrance to the dig site.

Unless you're around level 24, it's a good idea to have some kind of stealth when going through the dig site tunnes, as they're crawling with fairly high-level Arachnos for the zone. If you still have the Arachnos Disguise temporary power from "Infiltrate the Arachnos Base", that works perfectly.
  20. The setting I use varies, but on my Mastermind (Thugs/Dark, my first 50, my most-complete build, my badger, etc.), I frequently run solo on -1/x8, resulting in huge spawns that are easy to destroy. As a level 50, this also gives me more chances at purple drops, and as my villain badger, it also helps for kill badges (this was how I finally managed to get the Infiltrator badge, with 2 PPEs at -1 in every spawn.

    Thank you for the time...
Of course, the devs have, in the past, opened the Ski Chalet in the off-season for special events.
  22. You can only get the booster packs online. However, you can buy them using PayPal, or a debit card.
