Hazard aimed an unusual arrow at another tree, different from the one he was currently at. He waited for the right time, the fireball flying toward the tree. Finally, he shot the arrow, pulling a smallish rope behind it. The rope, which had been tide around Hazard's hand, was unusually strong enough to pull him up to the other tree.
Hazard pulled out two sharp arrows from his quiver, pointing to the tree in front of him. The first arrow struck the tree, he his the tree with the other two arrows to keep him from falling 80 feet to the ground below. He took out another sharp arrow, pulling himself up as he went. He place the arrow into the tree to hold onto while the other two arrows kept his feet from slipping.
He had to work fast before the trees unusual growth spurt kicked in. Hazard grabbed yet another arrow with the same kind of rope attached to it, this one slightly longer. He aimed it at the tree on the other side of the Avatar, shooting it right into its trunk. Hazard grinned while checking the ropes stability, getting on as if it were a bridge.
----------------------------------
Proto shot a burst of energy beams at the Avatar, with his other hand pressing buttons on his keypad for the assault bot to do the same. His assault bot did just as he was told, firing the beams at the head of the Avatar.
----------------------------------
Burning jumped up, igniting himself in fire as he began to fly. A feeling of fear rushed through his body as he flew behind the Avatar. He focused his energy into a beam of fire, aiming it at the Avatar's lower back.
----------------------------------
Night steadied herself, her mind becoming clearer. She looked over the rock to see what the noise was about. The Avatar firing a ball of fire to Hazard. She jumped into the shadow of a tree, taking in the darkness to become invisable. She jumped up to the lowest branch of the tree, from there, jumping from tree to tree, trying to find the best time to attack.
She was still a little bit dizzy, missing one of the branches when she jumped, barely catching it with her hand. She flipped up onto the branch and continued leaping around the Avatar. Slowly she was feeling better, but her eyesight was still clouded. Her head ached from getting up too fast. -
The doorway was only ten feet compared to the mile high room behind them. Darkness and Servant began to walk forward. Darkness suddenly stopped, turning to the army behind him. He walked to the Lich. "Lead the army out. We will meet you up stairs." The Lich nodded, turning to leave. He hovered through the army as it spred before him, giving him room to move.
Darkness turned back around and continued to walk forth. Servant, who had waited for Darkness up ahead, turned back around, taking the lead in an unusual way. The two walked for about 5 minutes, going from a left, to a right, to another left, and another left, a right, a right, a long hallway, an large doorway, another left, and a right until they got to another room.
The room was only about twenty feet high, but the sides were ten feet on each side exactly. The other side of the room lifted an 8-ball sized black crystle in mid air, similar to the white crystle. Darkness slowly walked forward to touch it, stopping at about a meter away. He looked on the walls, hoping he would find out what the crystle was for. Again, nothing. Darkness then continued his walk to the crystle and lifted his hand to touch it.
Darkness tapped it slightly, kinda like a boy would do to a 'sleeping' snake or a bee hive, just to see if it would react. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, so Darkness grabbed it and turned to leave. "Lets get out of here before another surprise drops in on us." Servant nodded, teleporting herself to the large room. Darkness did the same.
The large army of zombies were still trying to empty from the room into the stairs. Infact, about 4/5ths of the room still had to. Darkness assumed it might be awhile until the room was empty, so he sat down in a yoga position to meditate. -
Proto turned around. "I said don't TOUCH those spines! I could have taken...Oh forget it." Proto continued to watch Velkon as he disappeared. "I need a talk with that guy." he said, sighing as he turned back to the battle. This time, a gaint foot was rushing to hit Burning. "I KNEW that kid was going to get it!"
Proto looked at Night, wondering if it will be ok to leave her for the time being. The traige beacon should take care of her. Proto nodded, as if to convince himself she would be alright; he got up to leave.
Burning timed his jump, moving just in time to leap over the leg and back to the ground. He landed in a judo roll, throwing balls of fire to the new enemie just as he got back up.
Hazard was already out of the way of the leg, loading in an arrow into his bow. He shot arrow to the Avatar's leg. If it hit, the small explosive device inside the arrow would go off, taking out a large chunk of its leg. If the Avatar dodged, the large tree behind him would fall. Its a nice win/win situation. Hazard finished his battle strategy by running to his left, behind another large tree, ready to start phase two.
The assault bot was already firing a barrage of missles to the Avatar. Most of which were lock-on missles. Firing for the head, the missles wouldn't stop until they've hit their target. The robot was also already aiming its energy beams to the chest of the Avatar.
Night held her head, trying to get rid of that dizzy feeling. She didn't understand why she felt this way. She ran through her mind what could have happened. Did she hit her head? No, it didn't hurt. She felt it just to make sure, bringing it back just to check for blood. Nothing. Night got up, trying to regain balence. She looked at the trees, trying to calm herself.

"I am a hero of Paragon." He began to say. "All of us here were forced into this world. You wouldn't know anything about it, would you?" Hazard kept eye contact on the being. "Why don't you listen to the nicer side of your split personality? I like her." Burning asked rudely.
"Fang, you idiot!" Proto wispered to himself from behind the rock. He couldn't understand why a nice girl like Night would bother teaming with a dimwit like Burning. -

((OOC: I'll try to find it again. Give me about five minutes. I also suggest you have your setting on 'Flat Mode', otherwise, you will be loading for the next 50 years.

Proto watched Velkon get up. "Woah, watch yourself. Lay back down, you need the rest. You need about another five good minutes around that beacon. Once you get your strength back, I can remove those spines without further damaging you. Just relax..." Proto spoke to Velkon calmly, showing that a villain really can care fo someone.
Night was just getting off of the ground when 2.0 came. She was still a little bit dazed when he picked her up, and she swore there were about seven 2.0s trying bring her to safety. Night closed her eyes and tried to clear her mind. Besides, she needed to save up some strength.
Burning got to Hazard's side, this time letting his defence down. Hazard still had his bow up to the new ugly white thing. "Who are you?" Hazard said with strength in his voice, he was determined to take control of the situation one way or another. -
((OOC: You obviously haven't read the first page of "New Epic AT: Mechmen!" or whatever in the world its called.

"Oh...I'm SURE you have it now!" Burning said, rushing to get Velkon up and out. "Get Night! And do it WITHOUT killing someone!" He put Velkon over his shoulder and ran behind a rock. He looked at Velkon's wounds, kinda making Burning's stomach uneasy.
Proto Zone ran over to Burning and a small device at hand. "I'll help, you go. Just make sure my robot doesn't get blown to pieces." Burning nodded while leaving. Proto pressed a button on the small device and set it carefully near Velkon. "Traige beacon. Hopefully it works." The small green gas that the beacon released began to reconstruct Velkon's tissue. Slowly, but surely it would work.
Proto took out his blaster and moved to the edge of the rock. He had to protect Velkon, along with himself. He carefully looked up from behind the rock, blaster at hand, ready for anything that came. This was going to be a long fight. -
((OOC: Ok, my beam sword/laser pitol/mabey even a small energy shield attached to the arm, will belong to my gravity/forceield controller. Why I'm asking if it will be ok, is because that the character still isn't fully trained. In other words, he might be using electronics more then his natural power.
The reason behind this is that, do to the inability to be truly trained like a real hero as they start out, he has to train be himself. And since his career has only just begun, his endurance drops faster then a 10,000 pound donut falling from 7 miles above you.))

Velkon hit the floor with a boom. Proto, Night, Burning, and Hazard looked up quickly to see what had happened. "Velkon!" Night yelled as she ran to his aid. Hazard took the hint. Danger was very near.
Hazard quickly took up his bow, looking up just as the girl dissapeared from the tree. Another figure slowly fell to the floor, Hazard following its every move. This unkown being seemed to scare Hazard a little. Something was very off; he had to keep his guard up.
Proto looked up as Hazard did, turning off the scanner in the process. Set set down the scanner and quickly put on his helmate, grabbing his blaster afterward. He pushed the buttons on his keypad necessary to activate his robot and aim it at the figure slowly lowering. If the being attacked, red rockets would be bursting in air.
Burning lit his fits in response to the large crash. As soon as he saw the featureless entity, he jumped to 2.0's side. "Time to form a truce." Something caught his attention mid-sentance as he looked where the avatar was landing. "Night! Velkon! Watch out!"
---------------------------------------
Darkness Foretold looked up to Servant. "Our work is almost done." He turned around and dismissed his dark servant before he became a permanant being in The World is Flat. Darkness also summoned another Lich. Hopefully, this one would die of old age instead of war.
He walked up to the white crystle in the middle of the large room, slightly tapping it, just to make sure another ambush wouldn't spawn above them. Silence. Darkness thought about it before finally picking up the crystle. "Should we take a closer look at that statue?" "Yes...We should."
Darkness and Servant walked through to the statue, the army parting as they moved. Dark inspected the statue, looking for anything unusual, besides an erie glow. A small stand was in front of the statue. It was unusually placed, but it looked like it could fit the eight-ball sized crystle in his hands. Darkness carefully set it into place.
The white glow of the statue lady disappeared, followed by a low rumble. The rock moved slowly to the left, reveiling a nice medium sized opening of a hallway. What was in it? Thats what he had to figure out. -

Night Protector got off from the ground and walked over to the window. A few people to her left and right, she was one of the last heroes that survived El D's deadly attack. She, along with a couple of other heroes and civs, were stuck on the 35th floor of a beaten and semi destroyed tower near the atlas globe.
She looked out from the window, looking apon the death across the city. The sky was red, clouds exchanged for floating balls of fire. It hasn't rained within four of the five years El D has ruled over Paragon. The buildings were sinking into the ground, beaten and destroyed, while the statues of paragon's heroes smashed into pieces along the ground.
The light of the 24/7 sun reflected off her beaten matallic armor. The yellow firestripes down the sides of her amor scratched and dirty from years of war. Different parts of her armor were cut and severed. One example of this was Night's left arm. The armor had been completely removed up to just below the elbow, a result of a little more then a few fights with the behemoths in the city. She now had a fingerless glove in place of the armor, similar to what the gangs used to wear.
A small bandage on the left side of her face hid a scar from a more resent battle. It was small, but it would heal soon. Besides the maney scratches and marks on her armor, Night no longer wore a cape. This gave her mobility when traveling across the city. Her hair was also cut a little shorter then before, no longer in a clean ponytail. She still wore her tiara, showing that she would fight against the threat for as long as she needed.
Her eyes burned at the sight of the city. She turned to leave, returning to her former spot. The people around her hid in the corners, mothers holding their children, while fathers organized their weapons for battle. Maney of these people lost reason for living; continuing to, only for the hope of seeing their children grow up. Food was running short, forcing people to eat off of anything they found.
Night rested her head against the wall, thinking of how to plan her next move. -

Proto Zone looked around to see if someone was talking to him. Nothing. He rubbed his head wondering who that was. There was no way that could have been his thoughts. He trusted Night...Mabey not Velkon, but he trusted Night. He ignored the thought for now, continuing to work on the scanner.

((OOC: Actually, that wouldn't be a bad idea. And by the way, it IS night. As suggested by Mr. Nyuu as he was being brought in.
I'm going to bring in one or two of my characters. If I get into this, I might bring in about 3. I'm not going to do what I did in 'The World is Flat' and bring in 8 people. (Still deciding who to use as number eight.) I just need to find the right time to 'invite' them.
I'm beginning to love RPs in an unusual way. I just want to spend my time somewhere where I won't be limited to the game's use of powers. Speaking of which, since this IS just a forum, would it be out of hand if I bring someone in that has a few powers/devices not in game? (Ie. Laser handguns and a beam sword or two?) I'm thinking of starting my own RP that crosses the line of what we can or cannot do. Then again, mabey I'll just include it in another RP.
Thanks in advance!

The police scanner showed a large map of 'The World is Flat'. All six regions were next to eachother, with the large grey tower in the middle. The whole tower wasn't visable, as the top of the tower seemed out of range, or too high for the police band's radio waves to far to get to.
Something that caught Night's eye were some small firgures in the lava lakes of D00M. "Take a look at that." She said, pointing to a few holographic castles. "Looks like we aren't the only ones here, and these guys have been busy." She also pointed to the tower in the middle. "Are best bet is here. Someone inside might be able to tell us the purpose of these 'games'.
Burning Fang took a look at the map, noticing a VERY small person on the grey tower, slowly sliding down. "Who the heck is he?" Night took a closer look at the figure, but couldn't make out its features. "Proto, can you zoom in?" "I'll try, but this small device may not allow it." Proto replied.
------------------------------------------
The battle in the 'underworld' was raging out of hand; Darkness Foretold was alone and couldn't fend for himself. Servent was finally noticing some of the behemoth's week spots, but the chances to use them against the beast were far and few. As figured, some zombie archers were finally in range to shoot. What started out as one arrow every fer seconds, turned into a barrage of evil flaming pointy things falling from the sky.
Servant had to do her best to dodge the arrows while blocking all of the ones flying toward Dark with a small dark energy shield well placed beam of negative energy. "Could you BE any slower!?" Servant yelled over to Dark, half expecting a rude answer. She took out another zombie while jumping over the behemoth, throwing a burst of dark energy blasts from her palms, into the beasts back.
The only people left to guard Dark were the DSs; (Dark Servant/Death's Servant. Nintindo will come in later.) each one having their own problems as the wave of enemies continued to attack from around them. The Darkservants began to weaken as their stay in the human world progressed. Soon, projectiles would no longer fly through their shadowy bodies, and their enderence would decrease at an amazing rate.
Fianlly, when almost all hope was lost, Darkness Foretold completed the ritual. He said the final words to bend the undead's will to his own. The room fell silent, arrows and magic no longer raining from the sky. The army waited for their master's orders.
The ritual had no affect on the gaint behemoth, as it continued to attack Servant endlessly. Darkness smiled as he looked apon the Behemoth, letting the words fall from his mouth, "Open fire on the beast." The zombies did so with ease, taking down the beast within seconds. With the warriors once again silent, he began to raise the zombies who fell in battle, forcing them from peace they had just recieved.
Before Darkness Foretold and Death's Servant, was an army of thousands, possibly millions of the undead....
------------------------------------------
((OOC: Proto Zone will now be fiddling with the polce scanner in order to zoom in. As he does this, the hologram will still be active. Feel free to look at the scanner holgram at any time.)) -
Proto took the Police Scanner form 2.0 and began fiddling with it. "If I'm right, I should be able to rewire this scanner to show us a map of the surrounding 25 miles via holograph. It might take me a few minutes, but I think I can do it." Night shrugged. "Well, mabey we should check ou-" "Nevermind, it's finished!" Proto interupted, holding up the scanner for all to see.
"Now, lets see what this baby can do!" Proto lifted his finger above his head, and swung it at full spead for the on button. -
"Sure, why not. I love portals.." In that second, Falcon walked through the portal and was gone as well....
