Is there any progress on the participation score issue? It's a major pain to feel like you have to constantly get more enemy contact points when your team is assigned to fight an AV. But you know if you don't you get nothing but common table selections at the end of the trial. This issue is starting to cause contention on trial teams in a big way as more and more people need the rare and very rare drops to complete their powers.

There is no set way the nether world works as far as I know. You get to make one up for yourself!

Everyone will feel differently about things. Aside from the minor problem with the 'participation' scores I think this one was a home run.

Yes, but people were talking about out tanking lvl 53 tanks and unless you are in a trial that is not a possible scenario.

The participation system is majorly borked and needs to be fixed asap.

Well you don't have to get the new powers. I really like the powers themselves. And I like the drop system in theory, it's infinitely preferrable to IOs for instance. I just don't like how it prioritizes them.

I had heard that the devs had said there was some kind of participation score involved. But I have been as involved as possible with my tank (my primary toon through the new material so far) and have gotten him all the tier 3's without seeing a single very rare.

It was adjusted because the 15th was on a friday.

I think the new content is excellent. The only complaint I have is the drops of very rares. It seems to be based on some nebulous 'participation' system. Yet that system seems to be very flawed. People engaged in the trials report wildly varying drop rates on the VRs with no detectable difference in how hard they fought.

Does the system count healing and buffing as participation? What about debuffing? Do pets attacking count? The drops need to be more balanced.
