    So we have confirmed:

We are having a Pocket D Party on Saturday night July 26th in San Diego. In order to attend you must have a VIP pass that you can pick up from our booth.

For those folks that have a COH/COV account there is a special item attached to your VIP pass so make sure you stop by early to ensure you get your badge. This event is not limited to only COH/COV players, so bring your friends too!

We will have more finalized details soon, but this much has been confirmed on our end so save Saturday night in your calendar. The first Heroes & Villains at the party will get free drink coupons.

I'll keep you posted as we know more.

Nice, but there is a costume contest around 8-11pm, its the highlight of the convention.
At least you all didnt put 2x weekend during comicon (again)

    [/ QUOTE ]

We know about Masquerade, but we were unable to secure a Friday night venue. Such is life! However this party will still be cooking by the time the contest is over and perhaps it is a perfect follow up.

As far as folks in costume at the party, well it wouldn't be Pocket D if folks weren't dressed up in there.

    Classic Interview

    Lemur Lad

Hey all whilst working on a few things this old interview rose from the dead
and wanted to make it's self seen again. I hope you enjoy one of the earlier
Behind the Masks I did. Let me know what you all think and as always I am open
to suggestions on how to make them better.

    --Teldon

They call him Lemur, Lemur, faster than lightning,

No-one you see, is snarkier than he,

And we know Lemur, lives in a world full of wit,

    Flying there-over, over the boards!

Everyone loves the king of the boards,

Ever so mean and witty is he,

Smack talk he will do when morons appear,

And how they cringe when he's near!

(apologies to the person who came up with the Flipper Theme song)

Well here he is the man, the myth, the flying monkey lover. As always keep
things on topic and no flaming.

So tell me a little about your self? Your current age, where you live, etc.

I am *counts on fingers* 34 years old. I live in Maine. It's been cold here this
    winter. Haaaaaaaate cold.

    Do you have any pets?

Approximately 4 fur bearing thumbless creatures in the house, yes. Not counting
    me.

Do you have any brothers and sisters?

No, the world is safe, my mom came to her senses.

    What is your favorite movie?

Favorite? hrmmmmm that's hard. Too many. I recently re-watched Zulu and North by
Northwest, among literally hundreds, those two stand out. I can't even narrow
down a favorite kind of movie, I like them all, even a lot of sappy couple
    movies.

What is your favorite type of music?

Much easier choice, They Might be Giants. Also a band called the Glengarry
    Bhoys.

    Who is your favorite author?

    John Steinbeck or Isaac Asimov.

What is your favorite series of books?

Older: the Robot novels by Asimov (the Baley/Olivaw detective stories)

Recent: the Wee Free Men and Hatful of Sky by Terry Pratchett.

What is your favorite Simpson's quote?

"Ralph: That's my swing set, and that's my sandbox. I'm not allowed to go in the
deep end. And this is where I met the leprechaun.

    Bart: Right, the leprechaun.

Ralph: He told me to burn things."

So how did you get introduced to MMOs in general?

My friends played EQ and I never did. So when they started in SWG I joined
them. I like scifi better. I was pretty instantly addicted and played for over
2 years unto SOE and the dev team destroyed the game.

So how did you get introduced to The City of series?

I was lost in the wilderness after swg. I needed something to fill the hole and
some of those same friends were playing here. I was a really tough sell this
time though. It took me a long while to become the "raving fanboy" I get
accused of being in the forums.

Who was your first character and do you still play them?

My first character was a conversion of my favorite Champions character, Golden
Boy. I had to compromise on the name to Goldyn Boy. Some may recall that as my
global for a long time. Lemur Lad was my 4th or 5th character, but the first
    one I really "clicked" with.

What, if any, power sets would you say are your favorite?

    Plant Control without a question.

What ATs or power sets do you hate and why?

Hate is such a strong word. There are so many I haven't played yet, and several
I'm not terribly interested in playing, but I don't dislike them. I will say
there are a couple I've tried that weren't as much fun because they made the
game seem harder for me as a player. Force Field is one. Empathy is a another.
But I don't "hate" either one, they just didn't work out when I tried them.

What is your favorite zone in the game and why?

Hero side- Striga Isle. Dude, there's a giant volcano base, what's not to love?

Villain side- St. Martial. I love Casino row, and I love the Golden Giza. I wish
there was more interesting things going on there, but I love the look of the
    zone.

Any particular story arcs or contacts that you love to do? Even when you
have done them a million times already?

Doc Buzzsaw!! Always and forever every time I can manage it!

What is your favorite feature of the game?

The sidekick/exemplar system. Makes playing with friends so much easier.

What was the most amazing moment you had while playing the game?

This will sound like I'm talking out of my [censored], but every day is a little
amazing. There's always something that makes me smile, and that's in large part
due to the people I see and talk to. Thank you everyone.

What is your favorite enemy group?

The Rikti for their storyline, but Nemesis and Freakshow are close seconds

What is your least favorite enemy group?

Carnies bore me or annoy me. The only story I liked involving them was Viv
    Verandi's

What is one feature you would like to see added to the game?

I posted this idea for a Freaklympics Strike Force If there's anyone who hasn't read it yet and
likes it, feel free to necro the thread. (shameless plug). (The thread has been eaten by the
    forum-monster. - Snow Globe.
    )

What would you say is your greatest strength in the game?

My intense focus on what I'm doing (most of the time)

What is your greatest weakness in the game?

My impetuous nature can get helpful teammates in trouble.

If you were any AT in the game which one would you be?

Dominator. No, not for that. Get your mind out of the gutter. Because they are
    so wildly variable and unpredictable.

With I9 "Breakthru" almost getting here, what feature of it are you most
    looking forward to?

Pat answer would be Inventions because it will be the thing I end up doing the
most, but truthfully I'm excited for the Villain Hami Raid the most.

How bad is your badge lust?

Not as bad as you might think. I slack. I really do. I do have a lot of alts
that I tend to collect on out of habit, but there are still several I could get
pretty easily on my main Hero and Villain that I haven't yet. Me r teh lazy, if
    you didn't already know.

Which ones do you like to get the most?

I like the stories I get to remember with certain badges more than any one
badge. "Hey that's the one I got the night I met Tsugaru" "That one was the
first time I hunted with Beef's villain" "That's the one where theBejeeber
(forum buddy shout out!) forced me to stand there and entertain her while she
went and killed stuff for me" All fun times and fun stories. The badges are
    just gravy.

What one lesson would you learned in game that would be helpful to share
    with everyone else?

Read the stories for the missions you're doing, if you're running a contact. The
game feels a lot less like a grind if you know the story you're playing a part
in, and if you try to imagine your character in it. I don't get bored with this
game, because it's not me doing the same mission for the fifth time, this time
it's this character doing this mission and he is thinking.... that's how my
head keeps it alive for me.

Any other advice you would like to give to new players and other players
    that are learning the game?

Make friends, that's the best gift this game will have for you. The people you
meet make things so much more interesting than any specific mission or AT.

Any final things you would like to say to everyone before we go?

I'm a straightforward person. A lot of times that means I say things people
think I mean hatefully. I don't hate people, I just have a low tolerance for
people who aren't willing to think and do for themselves. If I say something
and you think I'm attacking you, stop me and ask me what I meant before you let
emotions take over and get angry. A lot of times I will say something and then
realize after I was too harsh. Other times I'm just really subtle and the
meaning gets missed. But I'm almost always willing to stop and explain myself.
I like almost everyone I meet. I like them enough to be honest with them. If
you think that through, you will see that means both the good and the bad. It's
not malice on my part, and it's not a lack of empathy, and it's not my ego.
It's just me being who I am without apology.

    Thanks Pinnacle, Good night!

    Slow Cooker Recipes

Want a recipe that you can slow cook all day while you are at work or out with
the family, and then just scoop and serve when you get home? I have a few
recipes that are just right for you.

    BBQ Pork (For Sandwiches)

    INGREDIENTS

1 (14 ounce) can beef broth

    3 pounds boneless pork ribs

1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce

    DIRECTIONS

Pour can of beef broth into slow cooker, and add boneless pork ribs. Cook on
High heat for 4 hours, or until meat shreds easily. Remove meat, and shred with
two forks. It will seem that it's not working right away, but it will. Preheat
oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Transfer the shredded pork to a Dutch
oven or iron skillet, and stir in barbeque sauce. Bake in the preheated oven
for 30 minutes, or until heated through.

    Slow Cooker Pot Roast

    INGREDIENTS

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix

    1 1/4 cups water

    5 1/2 pounds pot roast

    DIRECTIONS

In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and water.
    Place pot roast in slow

cooker and coat with soup mixture. Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on
Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.

    Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

    INGREDIENTS

    1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken

    salt and pepper to taste

    1 teaspoon paprika

    DIRECTIONS

Wad three pieces of aluminum foil into 3 to 4 inch balls, and place them in the
    bottom of the slow cooker.

Rinse the chicken, inside and out, under cold running water. Pat dry with paper
towels. Season the chicken with the salt, pepper and paprika, and place in the
slow cooker on top of the crumbled aluminum foil.

Set the slow cooker to High for 1 hour, then turn down to Low for about 8 to 10
hours, or until the chicken is no longer pink and the juices run clear.

Well, that's it for this week. Enjoy, folks! Next week I will be bringing you
fun foods and snacks for kids thanks to

  8. Base Showcase

    Explicit Content

    Parental Advisory

This week we feature Bases from the same designer, both hero-side and
    villain-side.

Who is your base designer and who are your supergroup leaders?

First, understand that the entire SG had a say in the base construction. After
all it is their home. I just put in the items. Hero-side leaders are enn-vee,
Barron Overlord, Kraxon, and Blast Chamber. Villain side leaders are Poisoned
EnnVee, Underworld Overlord, Crushomatic, and Mauser Tee Hee.

    What is your supergroup’s name?

    Hero side -
    Explicit Content

Villain side - Parental Advisory Base

((Now, some people may ask why such names? Well it helps to keep the "younger"
players from the PG13 and up conversations that can and do occur.))

Which server is your base on, and is it a Hero or Villain SG?

Well, we have both actually. "Explicit Content" is a Hero SG on Pinnacle.
"Parental Advisory" is a Villain SG, also on Pinnacle.

    When was your supergroup established?

Our Hero SG was established in September of 2007. We started out with 22
members and have watched our family grow since then. Our Villan SG was
established in February of 2008 with only 8 members and has continued to grow.

How many players are in your supergroup?

Approximately 50 extremely active members can be found within our families at
any time, though the actual number of members fluctuates.

What is the approximate value of your base?

Our hero base is worth almost 7 million prestige right now. Our Villain base is
at 3.5 million prestige so far.

((However, to be honest, we all consider both of our bases to be Priceless.))

How much time do you spend working on your base? How much time have you
    invested so far?

I have spent a great deal of time (nearly a year on both bases put together)
working to have clean, running, and interesting bases. My main goal is to keep
the family (no matter what side) happy. Now I spend a day or two a week making
minor changes in lighting and decor.

What is your favorite base item? Least favorite?

My favorite item is plants. I love them and wish we had more to choose from.
They bring "life" to any room no matter how cold it may have seemed before. My
least favorite is anything raid accessible. If your base is not a raid
accessible base, then why do the items have to be raidable items?

What is your favorite thing about base editing? Least favorite?

Favorite - Being able to find interesting ways to design the layout and decor.
I love being original in everything I do. I pride myself on being able to
surprise people at every turn. Least favorite - Having to manipulate the game
in order to make everything fit and still look good.

What is the highest thing on your wish-list for new base items?

The highest thing on my wish-list would be to never need a magic desk to make a
room Bi-Level. We have all see the Council missions with bi-level rooms. We
    know it can be done.

If you could give just one piece of advice to a new base editor, what would
    it be?

If you are starting to lag while editing, EXIT the editor because you may
delete something by mistake that took you a long time to get just right (see
    floating teleporters).

  9. Market Watch

    The View on Blue

    Career Day, Part 1

All superheroes have jobs. Most have a secret identity in which they work to pay
the rent and put food on the table. Peter Parker was a freelance photographer
who struggled to make ends meet. Tony Stark and Reed Richards were inventors,
and filthy rich. Some heroes are lucky enough to be paid for being heroes.
Power Man and Iron Fist teamed up to form Heroes For Hire, which paid the bills
but never made them wealthy. All members of the Avengers are paid a comfortable
    stipend.

In Paragon City, all registered heroes receive financial support from the city
government. The city pays our rent and our grocery bill. They even give us a
free pass for the monorail! In return, the people of Paragon City expect us to
participate in costume contests and chit-chat on broadcast. It's a tough job,
but someone has to do it. Sure, the pay is low, but so is the cost of living.

If you want to earn a little more moolah, you'll need to get out from between
Atlas' legs. Most heroes, sooner or later, find themselves battling criminals.
Suddenly, you have expenses: you need to buy enhancements, and inspirations,
and update your costume. Fighting crime pays, but not well enough to keep up
with your costs. The little bit of influence you get from arresting Hellions
won't even keep your TOs from turning red. If you played the game before I9
rolled into town, then you know all the old tricks for increasing your income:
sell enhancements to the correct origin store, sell inspirations to the
auto-doc in your supergroup base, trade XP for Influence by exemplaring once in
a while, and even let yourself get defeated sometimes just so you can earn more
influence before your enhancements turn red. Add it all up, and you'll still be
struggling to buy a full set of SOs when you hit level 22.

Luckily, Issue 9 introduced a lot of new ways to up your influence income. This
column will be the first of many in a Career Day series. I'll be discussing
some of the part time jobs available to you, so you can supplement the meager
income you receive as a hero. No, there aren't any freelance photographer jobs
available, but the city could use a few more inventors! The first job we're
going to talk about is something called "vendoring".

Walk over to Wentworth's. Try to find a piece of uncommon salvage selling for
less than 1,000 influence. I bet you can. Go ahead and buy it. Now walk over to
an NPC vendor. In Kings Row, you can sell things to those Longbow agents near
Blue Steel. The NPC will give you 1,000 influence for that piece of uncommon
salvage. How much did you buy it for? 750? 500? Maybe even just 100 influence?
Ka-ching! Profit! Suppose you made 500 influence on that transaction. A stack
of ten uncommon salvage items would get you 5,000 influence. Five stacks would
be 25,000 influence per trip, and it's not a very long trip, is it?

The first question most people have when they discover this career option is
"Why would anyone sell something at the CH for less than they could get from a
vendor?" There are a variety of answers. Some people sell low because they want
the selling badges. Some people sell low because they don't know that vendors
will buy invention salvage and recipes (you might have to scroll down a little
in the NPC store window to see it). Some people like to help other players by
making items cheap and readily available. Some people think walking over to the
vendor is too much work for a measly thousand influence. Someday you might feel
    that way too!

If you are going to be vendoring, then there are a few things you should know.
First of all, every NPC store will pay the exact same amount for all base
salvage, invention salvage, and invention recipes. Arcane salvage will not sell
for more at the magic store than it does at the tech store. Invention drops are
not like SOs. The most important thing you need to know is how much the vendors
will pay. For salvage, it's very simple:

    Base salvage: 100 influence

    Common salvage: 250 influence

    Uncommon salvage: 1,000 influence

    Rare salvage: 5,000 influence

    Set recipes are also straightforward:

Uncommon recipes: 100 x Level of Recipe

Rare recipes: 200 x Level of Recipe

Common recipes are a little trickier. If you look at the recipe itself, you will
see a crafting cost. Take the crafting cost of the recipe and divide it by the
number in the table below to find the NPC resale value of the recipe.

    Recipe level

    Divisor

You can also buy SOs on the market, and sell them to NPCs. You do need to sell
these at the correct Origin store if you want to maximize your profit. Figuring
out how much they're going to sell for is a little bit more work.
    ParagonWiki
helps, as always. You can set the filter in the market
window to only show items for sale, and then scroll through the SO listings, or
place bids and walk away. Try to buy ten SOs of the same origin, so you don't
have to do any extra running. Note: you cannot sell crafted IOs to vendors.

There are two approaches to vendoring. You can look through the market, trying
to find bargains, and immediately scoop them up, rush to the NPC, sell them for
a profit, and then hurry back to the market. Repeat. It can be quick, but your
profit margin tends to be smaller. Remember, prices jiggle up and down all the
time. If you put in a bid for 25% lower than the "going rate" at the time
you're shopping, there's a good chance that your bid will be filled by the time
you log back in. Right before you log off for the night, you can put in lots of
bids on lots of different items. When you come back to Paragon City the next
day, you should find that many of those bids have filled. Run them over to the
NPC for a quick infusion of influence before calling your contact and going off
to bust heads. It adds up.

How much does it add up? Uncommon salvage is surprisingly common. Suppose you
are level 5. You should have six market slots, and be able to carry 30 salvage
at a time. If you put in bids on six stacks of ten items, for 250 influence
each, you should be able to acquire 60 uncommon salvages for 15,000 influence,
with any luck. It will take two trips to a vendor to sell them all, and you
will earn 60,000 influence. That's 45,000 influence profit, with just a few
minutes of effort. If you manage to do that every day, you'll earn over 300,000
influence by the end of the week, and over a million by the end of the month.
    Risk free.

You can make even more with recipes. At level six, you'll have 4 recipe slots.
Remember, you don't need to buy things of your own level. Just as an
experiment, I bought 4 rare level 30 Sleep/Range recipes from the Induced Coma
set for 500 influence each. They'll sell for 6,000 to the vendor. That's 5,500
influence profit on each one, or 22,000 influence per trip. You can make the
most with level 50 recipes, obviously, but those tend to be more expensive to
buy, even on the less popular sets. Common recipes can be a gold mine, though
you may find more competition here (especially if a lot of people read this
    article!)

Take a level 45 common Run recipe, for example. In fact, take 4 of them. That's
as many as you can hold at level 6. Right now, I can buy 4 of them for 15,000
influence each, if I let the bid sit overnight. The crafting cost is 117,000,
which means the vendor will give me 29,250 for them. That's a profit of 14,250
each, or 57,000 for all four. If you can manage a couple of trips like that
every day, you'll close in on the million influence mark by the end of the
week. By level 10, you have 8 recipe slots. At level 43, you have 20.

If you are already swimming in influence, then vendoring may not be for you. If
you are struggling to find influence, especially in the lower levels, vendoring
is a quick, safe, surefire way to accumulate moderate amounts of influence. My
first million came from vendoring common IO recipes. Yours can too! And
remember, vendoring doesn't have to be a full time job. You can do a quick
vendoring run at the beginning of your play session every day, and then go,
    hunt, kill Helions!

  10. Fan Fiction Spotlight

    The Last Goodbye

    Part 1

    Part 2

    Part 3

    By NJDevil63

JOURNAL ENTRY – Sunday, March 30, 3:45 a.m. – I’ve been waiting for three hours
and still no sign of the Vahzilok. My contact assured me that they routinely
take this route through Faultline, bringing fresh body parts to Dr. Vahzilok
himself. Faultline has plenty of places to hide the bodies of their victims.
It’s a ruined city trying desperately to rebuild itself. Hopefully, this will
bring me closer to finding that monster and exacting my revenge.

Not every heroic story is a happy one. Often, what makes our heroes is a story
of tragedy, loss, and the main character's attempts to rise above the torment.
Perhaps this is part of what makes super hero stories so endearing, that with
their incredible gifts they are still laid low by their emotional troubles.

In this story, Bone the Head-Hunter takes on one of Vahzilok's most insidious
creations, an Eidolon. However, this particular monstrosity harbors a terrible
secret, one that the stalwart hero may not be able to handle.

This story suffers a little from the "Wall of Text" problem. However, with the
way it's broken up into three parts, the problem is mitigated quite nicely, and
NJDevil63 did a good job of breaking the story up in portions that keep the
reader guessing about the next part (as opposed to the moments when a reader
will accidentally scroll too far and glimpse what's coming, as this reviewer is
prone to do). It's a fascinating story, and I hope to see more from the author.

    The VEAT SuperTeam

Last week I went over the basics of creating a SuperTeam. You start with a
theme, then figure out what Pool powers or other ATs you need to turn it into a
SuperTeam. There's usually a lot of balancing involved, including things like
minimum team size to get rolling and keeping the number of different builds
down. But the object is to have a team with solid offense and defense that can
    roll over almost everything.

The theme for this week is VEATs (Villain Epic Archetypes). Take a look around

    this thread
for more pointers to VEATs information. For detailed power
    information, I always use
    City of Data
. For those that don't know, the VEATs are Soldiers of
Arachnos (SoAs) and Widows. They each begin with a single Primary and Secondary
power set (similar to Kheldians). Then at level 24 they can choose another
Primary and Secondary power set from 2 matched pairs. SoAs can branch and take
Crab Spider or Bane Spider power sets, while Widows can branch into Night
    Widows or Fortunatas.

A team of all VEATs is almost a SuperTeam, mainly because of the Tactical
Training powers in their initial secondary. These mimic the first three
Leadership powers (Assault, Maneuvers, and Tactics) which give buffs to your
entire team, but have some significant bonuses. They cost half the END to run,
so they aren't nearly a big a drain as normal Leadership powers. And the
Defense bonus from Tactical Training: Maneuvers (TTM) is significantly higher.
Base TTM for Widows is 5%, while SoAs get 10%. Slotted, that means about 7.5%
and 15% Defense respectively. It only takes 3 SoAs to reach the effective
Defense cap of 45%, meaning mobs will only have a 5% chance to hit you.
Tactical Training: Leadership is similar to Tactics, and gives a 10% ToHit
bonus. Tactical Training: Assault gives a 15% Damage bonus. Stack both of these
and the team will almost always hit for a lot of damage.

VEATs have a lot of other built-in defenses. SoAs get low mag status protection,
but it should be plenty when combined with high Defense. Crab Spiders get solid
status protection, a low Damage Resistance toggle, and a Dull Pain type of
power. Bane Spiders get extra status protection, minor Damage Resistance, and
an HP boost. All Widows get solid status protection. They also get click
Defense buffs which aren't so useful, given that they can only be up about a
third of the time and the Team should have capped Defense already. Finally,
they get a Damage Resistance power that scales based on HP, from 0% resistance
at 75% HP to 31% resistance at 0% HP (I think).

SuperTeams are big on AoE Offense, and the VEATs have it. SoAs have Heavy Burst
(cone), Frag Grenade (targeted AoE), and Venom Grenade (targeted AoE, with a
20% Damage Resistance debuff), plus Wide Area Web Grenade (AoE Immob) to
prevent mobs from running. The Crab and Bane powersets add more, and Crab
Spiders even get the Omega Manauver (Nuke!). Widows have fewer AoEs, but
Fortunatas get a Nuke and enough other AoEs (including AoE Control powers) to
be worthwhile. So for SuperTeam purposes, Crab Spiders and Fortunatas are the
    ideal branches.

A team of VEATs isn't quite a SuperTeam. They need healing, because they will
get hit and take plenty of damage running at high difficulty. And they also
need more END Recovery than Stamina will provide, given that they want to toss
lots of AoEs while running Tactical Training and other toggles. Lots of other
buffs and debuffs would be nice, but remember this is a VEAT themed SuperTeam.
The only thing they really need is a couple */Rad or */Kin Corrs. Both of them
come with Heals and Recovery buffs that should be enough to keep the VEATs
running at full speed. And the great thing about adding Corrs to the mix is
that it lets you play with friends who can't create a VEAT (because they don't
    have a level 50 villain).

I think 6 VEATs to 2 Corrs is a good balance for a full team. From a SuperTeam
point of view, SoAs are better than Widows, while Crab Spiders and Fortunatas
are the better branches. Kin Corrs provide stronger buffs than Rads, including
Knockback protection for the SoAs, but also require more work.

If you'd like to try a big VEAT SuperTeam, check out
    This Thread
. I'm running it on Justice, and I'll be running it long
enough to get an SoA and Widow to 50. Just join the "Buffer Overrun" global
chat channel and ask for an invite. Or feel free to run one like it with a
smaller group of friends, and PM me to let me know how you do.

    Cutting Loose

Many agree that the Council is a fearsome group. They're pretty influential,
they have that cool volcano lair and they practice rather effective strategies.
We may mess with them, but you have to respect their militarism. Of course, I'm
not one for respect. I came across a little file not too long ago that contains
information relayed by a Longbow spy, who recorded a minor incident that no one
noticed. So I'd just like to share the Council's 15 minutes of shame with all
    my readers.

    July 13th, 2007

8:15 PM: The meeting is underway. Malta agents have met the
base commander at the Skyway base. Negotiations to begin soon, must take notes.

8:45: The commander is relaying information from The Center
himself! He proposes a Mech Man equipped with Sapper technology as a perfect
war machine. They're bringing in a prototype by truck as I speak.

9 PM: Commander is furious. The truck contains thousands of
bottles of beer, no robot in sight. Drunken truck guards mention that an army
of Freakshow have been chasing them for the last ten miles. Big mix up.

9:05: Hundreds of angry Freaks storm the defenses to reclaim
their beer. Outer gate has been breached, weapon use has been authorized.

9:12: Malta diplomat steps between base commander and Freak
leader. He proposes there's only one way to settle this without bloodshed. He
wouldn't mind a gunfight, but he just wants everything to get smoothed over.

    10:24: I have no idea what's going on. I... I think I drank too
much. This Malta dude is a freakin' genius. I think... I think we've been
partying for like, a hour or so. I dunno, but man the Freaks know how to party!
I think a couple Juicers are hooked up to computers or something. There's an
    awesome laser light show.

10:48: That Meat Doctor has been making eyes at me all night.
The other soldiers are encouraging me to talk to her. I just don't know, I'm
Longbow and she's a zombie surgeon... thing. I'm gonna talk to her.

10:52: Hellooooo? Hey, is this thing on? Why's Jack got a talky
thing in his helmet? Hey Mike, check this out! I sound like Darth Vader!
*static* You lucky jerk, I think she liiiikes you. Jack and whatshername,
sitting in a tree. La la la la doo da dee.

10:54: Give me my helmet back! Jerk. Uh...yeah, that was Matt.
I think he's too drunk to see the Longbow symbol in my helmet. Phew. Anyway,
I'm going back to talk to Lauren.

11:11: Oh, show me the way to go home bome bome, I'm tired and
I wanna go to bed, bum bum bum. No, I really love you man. I mean it. You're
just....so cool. *slurring words* She's a great woman and it doesn't matter!
Screw you! Go drink the drain cleaner, you jerk!

11:34: No, I think you're a great woman. Yeah. Yeah. No, not a
fan of the saw blades. Yeah, look, this is kinda like a second job, y'know? I'm
just saying, you ever get in trouble, you call me. Yes, really. No, I don't
    think they'll mind.

????: Wooohoo! This thing is like a truck, except with legs! Aw
man, this is awesome! Dude, let's go get more drinks! Oh, better idea! Let's
find some Trolls and bring them back to party! Wooohoohoo! Building. Building!
Turn the wheel, we're gonna crash!

5:37 AM: Why am I in a giant Mech Man? Oh no....I think we
crashed into a skyscraper. Well I wasn't driving, you were! Shoot, the cops!
Run! Run run run run *static*

10:11 AM: Uh, sorry for the... events of last night's
recording. I'm gonna talk to Wilson in accounting after I turn this in to my
commander back at the Longbow base, I think I can smooth over the whole
"crashed a robot into a skyscraper" business. And I think I need to find
Lauren's phone number. Jack Fuller, over and out.

Good times. Anyway, I understand that things happen, and we've all done worse.
But still, the least they can do the next time they throw a party is invite us
villains. *sniff* I like to have fun. Maybe I'll go find a Troll Rave.

Want to be part of the VEAT Army? Yes we are an offshoot branch of the FUSION

    for greatness.

Ghost Widow has ordered my organization to form a new sect in support of special
operations. I will recruit within our ranks as well as go outside of our known
coalition. These chosen members will go to an academy for training as various
Arachnos soldiers. While I do not like to be told how to run FUSION, Widow
assures me that I will be rewarded for forming this group.

My first order of business is to choose villains among my organization that
display some of the following qualities: Mind control, knowledge of poisons,
stealth, acrobatics, weapons fighting, and most importantly do not display fear
and that would die if I ordered them to do such. I have at least 20 in mind
from my 150 Villain organization that fit this criteria. Over the next few
weeks I will begin listing them in preparation for training.

This training will consist of a series of trials and strike forces ordered by
