The only problem with using the /ignore_spammer command I see is the continuous use of nonsensical names used by most spammers, that makes it often impossible to correctly ignore. For the email that has been flooding our accounts specifically could the Dev's please add an in-game email address (per server) that we can forward the emails to (IE Email Petitions; Pinnacle Spammers; Virtue Petitions, etc). The player base can then easily forward the email along to the support team for their review/actions. Or add a button to the current in-game email structure to forward the email as a petition.

This is a great idea, I think an e-mail forward addy would be perfect. For tells its simple to just hit your reply button then change the "t" to ingnore_spammer and hit enter no worries about spelling the name wrong.

But the E-mail it's such a hassle i think most people simply delete and move on. Doing a forward to @spammer or some thing like that would be easy and would help run these people down.
  3. My only real complaint was i would have liked to have seen MMs and Corrs get two different secondaries instead of them both getting storm.

But it does kind of seem on paper like the heroes got the better end of it. Which may not be surprising when you stop to think that the villain only sets were made later by a more experienced designing team.
  4. [[Fan fiction Journal entry from Vorago a Fire/Fire/Fire Blaster - Pinnacle]]

I can't tell how long it's been since I arrived here from the Dark Dimension time is so different here. But I write this now to keep the memories fresh, memories of home. Memories that even now leak away like the wonderment of youth not because the memories actually fade, but because the contexts of those thoughts themselves are no longer apparent.

It is as if this reality pushes those thoughts from my mind for it will not allow even the idea of another reality to live within it, this is a jealous reality and it will suffer the thoughts of no others. But I must remember I must fulfill the plan.

The dark dimension is not infinite not like this place, the whole of reality fits in an area no larger then the solar system that holds this planet. Not that there are any planets there, such things don't exist. It is a great expanse not unlike the shard… but not as cold, or lonely. It is a place of great battles some lasting eons (again as if that term means anything here as it does there.) Civilizations and people born within it know of nothing else but that battle and live their lives and die within its grasp.

Why?? I think of these things and now I wish to know why. It is a simple sounding question now.. here.. but there it never occurred to wonder why. This reality is jealous it wants explanations and that is imprinted on all that dwell within it.

    Why am I here?
    Why is there death?
    Why…

    But there is a why.

When I became a Grand Efreeti I learned of a dark secret, Athrigoth and the other Great War demons had known of the existence of the mortal world for a long time. They had discovered that the battles in our reality impacted the realm of mortals though on a very small scale.

For all but an eternity they have conspired to increase the scale of the conflict so that a greater impact on the mortal world would be felt. I am unsure of their goal in this, but if Athrigoth wants it to happen…

    I don't

I wasn't sure how to stop him until at the battle of Kvat'tor I met a Shaman from the tribe of Beth'krav. He told me of the Great Barrier, and how to enter the mortal world. He also told me that though it is true actions here impact the mortal world the opposite is also true. He also told me that for some time Athrigoth had been interfering directly in the events of the mortal world, and he was doing this without the knowledge of the other War Demons.

If I had bothered to take the time to ask why a little more often I would have know this. My father Marcus Harker was from the mortal realm, a human cursed by Athrigoth before birth. Athrigoth had forced him to leave this realm and my mother when I was young. Now I know why, my father was proof that Athrigoth was "cheating". He was altering events in the mortal realm to better position himself in the Dark Dimension.

Going through the Great Barrier is no small task however. It is the junction between all realities to enter it is to risk being unmade. But I had to do it, only here in the mortal world could I finnally hurt Athrigoth and make him pay for all he has done.
  5. I am rededicating myself to this idea!

    BRB FTW!
  6. I'm just tossing out ideas here so be nice :P

But I was thinking for the Rouge Island Villains (here after known as RIVs) have a special "hidden agenda" that effects their agro to try and simulate a more robust combat experience.

We all know the current agro progression

level 1: I hate you and you are near me.
level 2: You have done damage to me, and I hate that.
    level 3: Taunt

If they added to that a "hidden agenda" to give the NPC RIV a special job so to speak it would make for a better opponent.

    Example:

RIV Stalker of the group given the hidden agenda to kill support. If the AI detects a defender in the hero group the RIV Stalker overrides the Level 1 and 2 agro formula and goes after the defender.

    Example 2:

one of the RIV Corruptors assigned the "hidden agenda" to heal and buff the RIV group. In this instance instead of attacking based on the agro code the NPC would (if a team mate was injured or a buff was down) heal or buff them. Or maybe even rez them?

Tsoo Sorcs will do this (at least the heal part), and they are one of the most annoying and challenging enemies in the game as a result.

Also it would be cool if each RIV was given some inspirations to use (triggered by a certain event)

    example

Each RIV get 1 Red 1 Yellow 1 Green 1 break free and 1 wakie

Situation: first contact with the PC group
    Use red and yellow

    Situation: Health 25%
    Use Green

    Situation: Mezzed/Stunned/Held
    Use Break free

    Situation: Dead
    Use wakie
  7. A nice thing to set SG missions apart would be to use the GM level coding so it would not be necessary to arrange SKs and Exemplars which would make it easier for more of the SG to participate in the action.

I love the idea of using a villain group Ala the one doing the respec in the STF as an opponent for SG missions.

    Other things I liked

Missions that involved an NPC raid on your base.

    Raiding an NPC base.

continuity within the "set" of missions (like going after the same faction) leading to a final mission.

Example of a SG mission story line:

Mission one: Collect clues of a villain plot
This would be a typical mission to go to a random location fighting a bunch of some faction to get clues of a plot. (Clicky)

    Mission two: Stop the plot
Thwart <random rouge island villain #1> attempt to steal the <item needed for villain plot>

    Mission three: Defend Base
<Random Rouge Island Villain #2> and <Random Rouge Island Villain #3> Lead an NPC crew to attack your base to get back <item needed for villain plot>

Mission four: Taking it to the badies [set on a random SG/Mayhem map]
The attack was a distraction and while you were busy defending your base the Villains <either snuck into your base and stole it while you were fighting or stole a different one> Stop the villain group from putting their plan in action. Sort of like the SG key missions with hot spots and various rouge island villains and other NPC mobs (whatever faction they are working with) stopping each "key" like mission to complete.

Mission five: Putting an end to this madness
Assault the NPC base of the Rouge Island Villain group. Face off at an NPC base complete with defenses and maybe and EB/AV VG leader and up to 7 boss/EB rouge island villains. Maybe some NPCs from the faction helping them for flavor.
  8. Serdar may not know how English statements get translated to Board speak.

    Developer says:
    In the next few issues

    Board people hear:
    The next issue

    Developer says:
    Sometime next year

    Board person hears:
We've given up on this one, we have reallocated the development time for this to vacations in Hawaii.

    Developer says:
We don't have the technology to incorporate this feature at this time, but maybe someday it would be a nice thing to do.

    Board person hears:
Please repeat the request on a new thread in all caps. Do not forget to include references to how I don't care about your $15 per month anymore.

So what Serdar should have said when asked about SG improvements was,

"We don't have the technology to do this at this time, but maybe we will have it for you next year."
  9. The new base storage has another problem id like to see addressed. Thats in the form of access control.

While id like to have an insperation holder and keep it full for lowbies using the base hosp to load up and go face what killed them with freash insps i dont want them to have access to the salvage storage where the higher levels have pooled there salvage for the base designer to use.

I feel these items would be more pratical to the community if they were controlled seperatly in the authorizations.
