This isn't the first time it's been made available, so I would assume it will be again.

I have NEVER seen that icon present there on any of my toons.
Possibly it denotes some kind of item(s) in the costume that are change, relocated, no longer available, or locked somehow? I'm struggling to think of a logical explanation for that... -

Quote:Yes, and TJ was right -- he was responding to another post that mentioned the server merges (which had absolutely nothing to do with the FORUM merge). The vBulletin change and the forum merge happened at the same time (7/27/09).Yes, but the _NA and _EU thing appeared when they combined the NA and EU forums (which I think was the same time as the change to vBulletin?), which happened a couple years before the NA and EU server merge. It was how they avoided name collisions.

Quote:This is how I feel as well. Not only is the UGT shiny and new, but it involves a lot of combat (so lots of chances for Thread drops), and has a relative ton of Astral rewards (not to mention the 2 Empyreans the first time you do it each day). And it's being run often currently, so there are lots of chances to get toons in on it.I would still choose the UG for crafting though. I have gotten from 14 to 17 threads each run. That is more than I have gotten out of running 3 BAFs back to back with the same league and minimal downtime. Yes I also got the component rewards from the BAFs, but at the end of 3 of them, both my computer and I were tired of running on teams for the night. (3 runs of anything in a row is pretty much my limit.) Running the 2 Undergrounds back to back wasn't tiring and it didn't feel repetitive because it is so much more varied than the BAF/Lambda. And I was still up for other trials. So the multiple BAFs are more efficient, but much less fun. And if it isn't fun, I have other things to do.
I can see this Trial getting speedy like BAFs did (not necessarily to the extent that BAFs are completed now, but still relatively fast considering the potential reward output). -
Quote:...you mean "she", of course...Good grief, any and all missions with Omnicore is annoying!
This time the map was just 1 floor and after blowing up 3 generators, Omnicore spawned......no idea where cause I went back and forth throughout the map 2x and didn't see him!
Luckily on the way back to the end of the map on the second time through, he was running towards me....grr....stand in one spot please! -
Quote:Congrats!Hmm, well I did this mission twice tonight.
When I logged on I was hoping it was the last of the arc...so I ran the mission and it had 3 floors in it...this time the pattern of where the mobs spawned was way off from the first time. The Legacy Chain mob spawned on the 1st floor, and what not....but found the Council mob and defeated him.
Then I finished the mission and noticed...ooh...one more mission...but a UG trial was forming and I wanted badges....so...quit the arc.
After the UG trial was a success I did the arc again and finally completed it.
This time the map for the 2nd to last mission only had 2 floors on it and was a lot smoother transition wise. Everything was in order and went smoothly.
That's strange, because the map I got (admittedly, the only time I did it) was only one floor. I didn't realize it was a random (or at least non-fixed) map, that's interesting... -
Quote:Behind ON THE MAP PATH, not literally behind.Hmm...well where the Legacy Chain mob spawned, if the Council mob spawned behind me (where I was at the time), he was outside of the map then heh...I was basically at a wall when fighting the LC lt. mob...and there was a door there but it was locked.

Pretty sure late in the game they added 2 more Global slot unlocks for people who purchased the GR box (IIRC -- could be a different purchase that was made).
In any case, the "Global slots" entry that you see up in the top-left of your server/character page IS the amount of character slots you currently have that can be used to unlock a slot on any server. The only thing that's changed about that between last week and this week is the place on the screen in which it is displayed (and, of course, the addition of the 2 extra slots).
I can't explain the person who thinks they have 3 more than before, that sounds like either a bug, or mistaken memory. -
Quote:Yup, this worked for me, but realize that it DOES take at least that amount of time.Go to account management, and change your *game* password (to what it already is), and you should be able to log in again within 5-10 minutes.
I'll gleemail the inf to you shortly, Fulmens. -
Quote:Are you forgetting you get extra component drops the first time you get any of the badges associated with the iTrials? It sounds like you may be counting the extras that can drop in this way. (Apologies if you accounted for this, but you didn't mention these extra drops, so I thought that might be a possibility.)The first Underground I ran, I got 3 components. 2 commons at the end plus the Rare on the Reward table. Second one I got 2, an uncommon and a common on the Reward table. The last one was a Rare at the end and an uncommon on the Reward table.
I might have missed it, but I have never noticed any extra components dropping in the other Incarnate Trials, so assuming that the extras are WAI, comparing 2 BAFs to 1 Underground looks like the Underground is a better payoff in components, Astrals, and threads (The least threads I have received is 14.) -
I did that one earlier today on my main hero-turned-villain also, EI, and the robotic Council spawned BEHIND me on the mission map (rather than in the same room as the robotic Legacy Chain, or further in). I had to go back a couple of rooms to eventually find him.

Quote:This, for me. I play on Victory, a new server isn't changing that. It's nice to have the option of the free transfers (once those kick in), in case I want to "pop over" to Virtue or Freedom for a difficult-to-get badge maybe (like some of the Keyes I'm still lacking, GRRR), but ultimately Victory is my home, and I agree with Loth, I don't see that changing for the vast majority of players.I actually get the feeling that most serious badgers aren't going to shift their main badging characters to Exalted. Most of us have pretty well established characters, which also includes supergroup affiliations. I intend to play on Exalted but only with newly created characters at this point.
I suppose we'll eventually see if there's a mass migration for badgers or not.
I just don't see myself worrying about it too much. *shrugs*

Quote:I'd have to agree all around.I found the UG trial to be fun. It can be challenging, but it was:
1. More interesting than the BAF
2. More leisurely than the Lambda
3. Less stressful than the Keyes
To me, it shows that the devs are learning from previous trials, and are making them better. I hope the trend continues. -
Like Turg, I nearly hit the 1,250 mark just by logging in on Tuesday. I'm at 1,271 currently, with the red-side lowbie badges and a couple of the Underground Trial (and, of course, the 4 new Day Job) badges left.
Also, don't forget to "purchase" the badge in the Paragon Market, everyone! I nearly forgot about that one! -

Quote:When they're up is all that can be said at this point. Folks watching the Ustream might have more current info, but they're already almost an hour past the last updated time I'd heard (2 PM Pacific/5 Eastern).Oh! thank you for responding. I was freaking out a bit (okay a lot). Any idea when they'll be up?
So it'll happen when it happens, I guess. All we can do in the meantime is wait patiently (yeah, right). -

On the "Game Account Details" page of your Master Account (accessed via the NCsoft site).
You won't see a balance yet, however, unless you've purchased some via the website store today. -
Just the 10K I purchased earlier -- my 800-ish hasn't shown up yet (I would assume it will whenever the servers are finally ready to go).
