My target demographic for women seems to be in the 30-50 age range. They come up to me in the food store and tell me I need to eat more.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I tend to attract younger women for some reason. My wife is 19.

When I was in my teens, I attracted older women. I guess I looked older or something..

    [/ QUOTE ]

They usually just want me to eat more. I've got a metabolism most people would die for; eat what I like, and still weigh in at 140 lbs at 6'4". Downside is the fact it's nearly impossible for me to put on muscle or weight of any kind.

And jumping in late to the hair discussion, I'm in that awkward stage where I'm growing my hair long again (damn law enforcement haircuts), and it's too long to be tidy with just combing, and too short for a ponytail of any dignity. Any suggestions?

    ROOK HALP!

Muhahaha puppy! <cuddles and feeds puppeh treats and puts em in a lil dog sweater and pants! >

    *reappears from the basement*

Pants? On a dog? That's a crime against nature.

    *thinks a moment*

Can I ride it? No? Aw shucks, I never get to ride crimes against nature, or hobos, or nuthin'.
  3. Good ol' compiling. I miss it- right up until I remember I'm the worst programmer ever.

*holds up question reading "describe management policies for anadromous and catadromous fish species"*

    Enough of that, though.

*runs around in circles before vanishing into the basement and the portal therein*

Poor Cube, hope you feel better. Remember that an iron will and a little meditation can keep you from throwing up. Downside is, you'll still wish you had. However, it's still handy to pick where and when you puke. Like, in a toilet and not on your keyboard.
  6. Fire, Ice, and Sonic all brought armor powers, they probably didn't want too much redundancy, and this way left MMs with something Corruptors didn't have.
  7. Blue Sky natural orange cream soda is damn good.

Am I the only one who enjoys Mr. Pibb?

    [/ QUOTE ]
Pibb is good. I prefer Dr Pepper, but I'll grab a Pibb from time to time.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I must agree wholeheartedly with this comment as it is written, though I feel the further need to state that I infrequently discriminate between flavors of soda, and typically go with what ze gut wants that particular day.

It tends to favor Coca-Cola or Dr. Pepper, with the occasional Barq's.

    [/ QUOTE ]
My personal soda chain of command tends to go:

    Dr Pepper
    Pepsi
    Mr Pibb
    Root Beer (Barq's or A&W)
    RC Cola
Dr Thunder (cheap knockoff by Wal-Mart, but it's cheap)
    Coca Cola

    [/ QUOTE ]

Pepsi over coke? Someone likes their sugar.
  9. Blueside go Scrapper or Tanker. Scrapper if you want to solo well, Tanker if you want to solo slowly.

Redside (which is, in my opinion, more fun) go Brute, Corruptor, or Mastermind. Probably Brute or Corruptor. Dominator is kind of strange, and Stalker is just plain weak for most purposes. (They do excel at what they do, which makes them the only redside AT with a clear and unique role, unlike blueside, where specialization abounds.)
  10. Coke, not Pepsi.

Standard, not diet or no caffeine.

Wild Cherry Pepsi over Cherry Coke.

Real Vanilla Cokes, not the fake bottled kind.

Orange and Grape are good for variety. Preferably the fancy kind made with real sugar, not corn syrup.

Barqs and IBC, not Mug or similar knockoffs.

No Dr Pepper, Mr Pibb, Mountain Dew, or Vault.

    Monday Rookery.

You know you play too much CoX when you confuse ITQ (Individual Transferable Quotas) with the ITF. On a test.

Yeah, not my finest moment. Happily I remembered the other acronym I can use and what it fully means, which is better than simply knowing what it stands for.

WHY DOES MFA SMELL LIKE VIV?!

RAD R CONFUSED! * beats things with a club*

    [/ QUOTE ]

*quickly puffs a spray of perfume in front of Rad as he's walking, and darts away again, laughing*

    Gotcha.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Wait... wait...

Why's Viv smell like Rad now?

The moral of the story is PuG's are worthless and if you participate in them you're pretty much asking to fail.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Boy, it's a good thing everybody that plays has the luxury of a developed group to play with on call at all hours.

    Oh wait, they don't.

I guess those of us normal folk just have to get by with what's available.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I've never had a static party. Never had a particularly supportive SG (never particularly threw myself at one either, so not complaining). For me, PUGs are where the rubber meets the road; I'd get bored playing with the same ATs all the time.
  15. [ QUOTE ]

Either I've been short of VEATs in my team, or my VEAT associates have been absolutely terrible. The one team I had with an Arachnos Solder and a Widow on it was faceplanting left and right. But come to think of it, I didn't need to heal much, since the team was just popping Awakenings and resting up between waves.

I'll get back to you in a bit.

    [/ QUOTE ]

So... when I don't quote numbers (that are publicly available), I'm being evasive and lacking in detail, but when you go by (clearly limited) personal experience, it counts as authority. Yeah, that's real productive.
  16. The term healer doesn't belong in broadcast or anywhere else in CoX. Healer mindset = bad. It's like going into WoW and claiming you're a Hunter with Speed Boost because you have that +5% speed thing. Completely meaningless.

...before 1.3 goes live? Did you see the Land of the Dead stuff?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes. 17+ Public Quests and TWO points of RvR in a zone that was promised to be full of RvR. Then you can look at what they did to AoEs across the board.

Sorry, game's still buggy, we're still missing content from over a year ago and the endgame is quite sad and pathetic. Altdorf...isn't fun. It's meh.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Do they have actual animations for all the spells yet?
  18. Green Vault + Root Beer + fresh grapefruit juice. Surprisingly good.

I am thinking about making Virtue my main server, Freedom a.k.a. Farm Land is no longer fun. I just need to know one thing: Has Virtue been taken over by the evil known as AE Farming or do teams exist and are they frequent?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Virtue has been taken over by evil AE farming. Normal teams do exist, but they are not especially frequent. Similarly, they tend to be smaller. This is my redside experience lately. That being said, at busy-ish times (AKA not 4 AM), I've never had trouble getting a team of at least four together for some less-than-agricultural content.

Not sure about blueside. Virtue was certainly bitten by the bug, but not entirely taken over by it.

Homosexuality extends beyond what happens behind closed doors, BigDaddyDream; this includes how people communicate with each other in a group in an MMO.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I don't buy this for one minute. Public decency is more important than fluffing your ego and libido by flaunting your relationship, regardless of preferences. There's a time and a place for everything.

If you're so insecure about what you're doing that you need to force it on people and then demand their approval, you're doing it wrong.

    Oooh... summer's here, sweet thangs...!

    (1) I'd link in "Sunrise" by Simply Red, but it'd probably get modsmacked even tho' Youtube has no problem with it.

    Er... creepy.
  23. [ QUOTE ]
I may not broadcast im a healer but i consider my empath and some of my therms healers. I love healing its why i play empaths and therms. Sometimes people call them selfs damage dealers when they sit and complain they are not getting enough xp while they do nothing and not even move from doorway. I myself dont think my storm summ is a healer but sometimes they get put in that role. I bet you dont say the storm summs are not healers when they O2 ur butt and save ya from dyin hmmm?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Storm Summoners are NOT healers. They are GALEBOTS! Six-slotted Gale, Tornado, and Whirlwind from the Speed Pool makes me the superest galebot evAr. And because I think it helps, and it worked in some other game, I must be right, so I'm going to keep calling myself a galebot instead of a Storm Defender who provides mitigation eleventeen different ways.
  24. [ QUOTE ]
Ahh, and my mood is much improved. Won a $45 bit on eBay for $3.04.

    BOO EFFIN YAH.

    [/ QUOTE ]

And that will only cost you $41.96 for shipping & handling. Which is strange, because I'm sure there's a few folk in the Rookery who would provide you with all the handling you want for a lot less than forty bucks.
