Updated $1200 build.
Second, while looking a bit closer over my previous part selection I became concern that the fancy OCZ Reaper HPC DDR2-800 CAS 4 memory with their elevated heatpipe to heatsink may physically interfere with the fan on the Freezer 7 Pro cooler I specified. It's difficult to judge scale and imagine the parts assembled.

To let you know I have this exact ram ( 8gb of it) and it's about 2 inch high with the cooler. ( you basically double the height of the ram compared to a normal stick).
It is very efficient at dissipating heat. the problem I have is I need to remove the ram before swapping some component ( cd-rom / hd) but there is no problem with the Thermaltake blue-orb heatsink for the LG755. I know it's not made on the same design as the Freezer 7 pro, but it is a beast inside the case yet is not in the way.
Btw I use an EVGA 790I motherboard . I know some layout can be different so it's just to give an reference point. -
.... read the first post or Tease post, you'll find the answer in detail...
In short: rollback to older drivers. Apply the Hotfix from Zolth and see if that works. -
"Display driver has stopped working and has fully recovered" Is just another way of saying the same thing.
the first versions of the driver Nvidia released had this error message. then with the latest update you should receive both "Display driver has stopped working and has fully recovered" and " Nvidia error 14 ( or 13). So in a way your right, the symptoms ressemble.. because it's the same bug -

Actually, the hotfix is for both 32 and 64-bit users. 64-bit users seem to benefit from it more often, though.

Yup
Ex, you might want to explain to people how to get the 32bit and the 64bit version of the hotfix on that page. If my memory is good, there is a link "see all files" just over the box where the hotfix is located ( after clicking on the request link) -
hum.. this question should normally be in the tech section but I see why you'd post it here so i'll be brief and try to answer: Are you behind a firewall ( software or hardware) if so you should start by looking there.
As for the mac betai'm very happy about it, even if i'm a pc user I have a couple of friends who left for school with only a MAC and can't play because of this. I'll be more than happy to see them online more often between partys, and beer.... errr I mean studying and sleep and homework.. yeah that what I meant.

Legos are banned from this house.. ever stepped on one bare foot? My son Tom loves Lego Indiana Jones on the PS3.

lol many many time -
lol I know that. but you made me think of those Lego as the block. Which are not expensive and ( personally) is far better suited for any kids between 5 to 10 ( yes 10 lol ). And in any case I was just pointing out that you made me remember them and the fun I had playing and building stuff with them .
-
OMG, Lego used to be my favorite Christmas gift. It doesn't matter what you get, how big it is or pricy.. just having the lego give you more options to build other things. I used to destroy my 4 spaceships and build one HUGE one from all the parts.
I believe this is the kind of gift you should get a kid, something that help his imagination without being like all those other " kids learning toys" that look really bad in most case. -
I live at about 8hour drive from my grand-parents house and when I was young my parents would do everything they could so we could see our grand-parents at least twice a year. ( me and my 2 older sisters)
My sister gave birth 4 months ago and already did the 8hour drive so my grand-father could see my nephew. ( took them 10h but thats counting the feedings stops lol )
There is NO reason that you should not or could not drive 6h to see someone in the family, especially a new born who got hospitalized.
I even volunteered to do the 8h drive to go get him so he can come down for Xmas this year. -
yeah but then playing hockey in the street becomes a hazard for the kids... and nearby windows lol

not really, Zolth had posted the "update" in this topic BEFORE creating his own to replace this one that was getting flooded with useless information.
At least we can recreate the new updated version from his posts. Good thing this thread wasn't purged -

'Woman Up'
grammar
<--Official Mid_Forever spell checker and... uh... well, I dunno what I'd be for the first part. 'Gender checker' seems a little naughty...
/Walkthrough I let slide, even if Chrome says otherwise. I think it's wrong, so there.

can't be as bad as a co-worker who wrote a program in Java and called one of his function " gender neutralizer" cause it would remove any "He, she. her, him"... and change it to "they"
Now back on track: the idea of a OC Walkthrough isn't that bad actually, some people might not know how to do it and screw the computer ( althought that would be more on a different thread)
Some also have the multiplier set lower than what it's suppose to be ( like that thread we had yesterday I think) so knowing where to check the multiplier and how to change it would be a good idea. -
but woman also like to divide
they divide your income in 2 ( what they can spend and what they can keep)
they divide what you own ( they take the house, the car and leave you the dog)
they divide their months in 2 ( 1weeek they have an excuse for being moody, the other 3 they are preparing for the next week and are just moody)

Go to the moviesafter working at a cinema as a projectionist for 7.5years.. I dont' even want to tell you how good it is for pregnant woman trying to give birth... especialy movies like terminator 3, Mission impossible 2.....
Oh yeah the projectionist will HATE you but who cares... he just has to stop the movie mid-showing ... wait for you to get out ( if you can, if you can't he has to wait for the ambulance lol) then pray to god the movie wants to start again and then probably delay the other showing after cause you took too long to exit.... -
yeah the other 3 prepared the way.... well what can I say, practice makes perfect.. that what I always told my 2 older sisters
-
well not a parent myself but just became an Uncle for the first time
God they are small at only 1 day old lol But damn can they be cute.
I'm even more lucky since I was the only guy in my generation ( means only girl cousin no guy or brother) and my sister gave me a little nephew so i'm really happy... and yes i'm the godfather also ( well not from the movie of course lol )
Hope you can be as lucky as my sister GP, everything went very well and she and the baby are in perfect condition with no complication
