Seeing how you know what you want in a PC and simply don't want to have to build it, you can always go with NCIX. They have a tool where you pick the parts you want, and they ship it to you built and ready to go for something like 50$ ca.
Here is the link to their basic config for the I7. http://pc.ncix.com/pcbuilder/index.p...latformid=1000 -
Quote:Not sure if you mentioned this already but what is the temp of the CPU when you run COH? You said you removed the dust from the computer, was there a lot? If so, did you clean the heat sink of the cpu also?I recently cleared out my computer of all the dust etc. Today it has started to shut itself down when I am in the middle of playing the game.
I downloaded GPU-z and it said when loaded it was running at 102/103 degrees celsius, which doesn't take a genius to realise something is wrong here. I've emailed the people I got it from but the thing is that it's 2 years old. Will I have to pay for another replacement?
Is that definitely the source of my computer shutting itself down? HELP!
As other have said, the graphic card running at 102 shouldn't trigger the computer to reboot. On the other hand, the CPU running too high (high temp limit set too low) would do just that. You changed the bios recently, did you make sure that all the settings for the temp monitor were set correctly? -
Quote:I know and there are ways to get out of the bowl without any tp and without dying. BUT I remember the first couple of raids and the massive wipes we had (good times....)Eh, we don't die so much anymore. Vet TPer FTW, as it were.
I could probably make a toon on Liberty and help. I was the appointed bubbler for a very long time -
Quote:If you guys decide to raid how we do on Champion, ( it's really up to you, we know our way of raiding works for us, it might not for you) then the leader should make it clear that EVERYONE (except the team tp'er) will probably die after each wave.O and i forgot one other point ppl get upset when they die and start leaveing lol ppl need to expect a one wipe or 5 for the first few raids.
In any case, most people at the raid should be lvl 50 already ( or close) so debts really doesn't mean anything. -

Hey all, another visitor from Champion.
As Hazygreys said, you can expect the first few Raids to take a bit longer but after a couple of successful raid the time will drop very fast.
When Amygdala decided to try bringing the weekly Hami raid back to the Champion server, we started with a closed group (core raiders) to get to know the raids and understand each leaders and raiders position. Theses first couple raids were very long and many weren't successful BUT it allowed us to really understand what needs to be done.
Some of these "core" people became the raids leaders, each with their own job to do and help guide new people into their designated role in the raid. Once you get that settled, the biggest problem will be to get enough people in the zone. For some reason, people don't like "wasting" their time if they are not 100% sure to get what they want but if you keep going and start getting multiple successful raids, they will come and things will get better and better. -
well I got my 2 copies... and I can't wait to finally get something new to do at low level. As much as I like the dual pistol so far... my main problem is still that i'm tired of the same zones, mission, contact... etc that i've done so many time before.
I can't wait to go gray and experience the new zones... ( oh and the demons control)
-
hum, if all goes well I should make it to this raid. I still have my /elec brute with taunt (now upgraded with energize... god I love that change) so if you need more brute on the mito taunt.
If not I have a bot/FF MM, widow, cold corr and some other I forget, I can bring. I haven't looked at the new start yet so I'm not sure what would help more. -
Quote:I'm pretty sure the contents of your hard drive are okay, at least, assuming there's anything on there you want to save. Just take it out and pop it in the new rig, and you should be able to get everything off it no problem.
I aggree with this, if the Mobo fried, there is a really good chance that your Hard drive didn't get touched. I had a laptop burned on me and I used the hard drive and cpu to build a new desktop. Just take out the hard drive and connect it to a desktop, you'll see if it works or not
In any case, Cobalt light's is pretty good a guiding people back so keep an eye out and we will see you soon. -
Holy *** PG ... how have you been? I just came back myself from a 6month break ( or was it more.. can't say)
-
well it's good to see things around here didn't change much....
Now i'll go back to finish my bag of popcorn. Thanks for the entertainment on this Friday -
I've had this happend a lot on the Aion website. not so much as the ncsoft master account but the Aiononline.com website.
I didn't understand at the time why i'd get the name and item of someone else and thought it was just a hickup of the database not linking correctly.
At least from that website one can't control the account. -
Even though I'm more or less away from the game I still think about all of you.
I haven't been on lately and it will probably be a while before I can actually log in but every time I get to log in the game I still feel right at home.
Tabby, Cobalt, Amy, Horus, Kalhan, the RDLV in general, BMT... and many others. You all inspire people to be better, to play fair and to learn form mistakes. I've learned so much and had so much fun playing with you all that it hurts not being able to get on as much as i'd like.
On this, I'd like to wish a happy and safe new year to everyone from the Champion server. even thought I can't possibly have played with everyone and that some people I might not "understand" as well... I still hope you the best for this new year.
I will see you all soon... I hope

i'll add a couple words to that Celestial lord:
ex-home server of Skippy (also known as Lord Stryker)
btw Mylia, the guide is simply to explain to newcomers how to handle the amount of drama so they don't get lost. -
I can't believe no one mentioned any songs by the Trans-Siberian orchestra.
"Wizard in Winter" comes to mind of course.
or also the Hanuka songs by Adams Sandler -
Ah.. the good old Champion server.. I see thing didn't change much

Let's see who wins... Cherry or Shaytanah
Quote:[BMT of Champion]Cherry-2000: dude, omg. you did this last dbl xp.. stop asking me or anyone else for $. take your lazy *** out of ae, and go run missions like everyone else. or tell your mother to work the corner a lil bit harder. stupid fleabag. welcome to ignore. Quote:[BMT of Champion]Shaytanah: listen you slack jawed mouth breather, its no one else's fault you died trying to herd. You're a DEFENDER. Blame your parents for their inbreeding and ask for that missing chromosome for xmas. Don't insult me again--I'm better at it than you.
Yes I did have time to waste -
lol fine then i'll keep the daggers and swords i'll make to myself
oh btw I noticed you use the sword in your main hand and dagger in off hand.. switch them around and you will crit more often. It seems the game take the Main hand crit rate only even if both are displayed individually. Also when the main hand crit, the off hand also does. -
I noticed the game as a lot of money sink to remove money from the game which should keep a good balance on market price. Teleportation, soul healer, potions, auction house fees...etc. only problem is that at the early game, money is kinda hard to keep and if you die a couple of time or click the wrong teleport (looking at you Kahlan) you can be broke pretty fast.

nice the more legion we can get together the easier it will be to find teams for quest and do PvP
-
actually the LFG channel is mostly spam and general chat with no moderation... hard to make out someone Looking for a group with all the useless chat...( and gold spammer...)
Oh.. BTW Shin you forgot the "the" in the name of the legionit's Champion of the Night
-
I made : a gladiator ( lvl 18 currently), a priest (lvl4), an assassin (lvl19) and a ranger (lvl10).. also had a lvl 16 sorcerer in closed beta.
I don't like the ranger, I love the assassin and the gladiator. The priest seems good for solo play since they can heal themself but I didn't play enough yet. I love seeing damage numbers and speed so the assassin fits my playstyle.
I really like the feel of the game. I have a sens of accomplishment, the quest are not too hard yet challenging. There is a story, which is a big plus compared to WoW where you have no idea why your there....
for a good site for skills with detail info of each I go to www.Aionarmory.com
there is nothing like Mids yetbut all skills are purchased at the trainer except for the stigma who are drops. You can think of stigma like "stones" in diablo2. you have to find them and equipe them but they give you great bonus.

Quote:So I see Amy is still giving Guiness to the squirrels.... Bad girl... I'm thinking of giving her my student card to make her stop. No, I already said I blamed Demobot for the lag, but since he denied it, we shifted blame to Ash's Kamakaze Squirrel bombers. However when we realized that particular squirrel just had a bad day and alcohol was involved before the critter headbutted the power transformer outside the studio blowing it up, all blame was then shifted to Amygdala and Nueronia.
Further investigation on this blame will continue until further notice. -
At lvl 17ish the teaming picks up and more people start looking for teams.
After 20 the PvP start being the main point of the game so more people are gonna look for teams.
As for the grinding post 20.. well i'm only 19 yet so I'll tell you tonight or tomorrow lol
