Well, okay, that's slightly less stupid than I was led to believe.

I don't really follow X-Men, but my understanding was that Magneto ripped out the skeleton, and Jean Gray held his body in shape until he regrew a new one. This is, however, second-hand knowledge.

IIRC, he survived having his entire skeleton ripped out. As far as I can tell, Wolverine is truly immortal.

If I were designing the Incarnate system, I'd probably leave everything more-or-less as it is, with one exception: I would not have introduced Incarante Threads or Astral and Empyrean Merits. Shards were fine, and I would have designed the system around Shards.
There's enough currencies as it is. We really didn't need four Incarnate currencies. -
Quote:It's a self-perpetuating cycle. I have fewer armour-clad characters because there's a limited number of armour-clad choices for my character (who are almost exclusively female), so I have to find other options.and sexy pieces are no doubt popular if one looks around the game and compares the number of slinky outfits to females dressed in heavy armor or business pants or whatever
I probably have about one armoured costume for each variety of armoured set there is for females (including one SoA); were there more variety, I'd likely have more. I don't really like to repeat costumes, so once I've used each armour set once, it's pretty much done for me.
And I'm constantly disappointed by the lack of options for "civvies" for my characters. -
Just one little addition: here is my post history. In the past month, the number of posts I've made about the Incarnate system that were not direct responses to someone else number exactly 1, and it said nothing at all about raids.
I'm not sure whose posts everyone's reading that they're attributing to me to create this sense that all I ever talk about is how much I hate raids and the Incarnate system, but I assure you, I have let things go back to normal quite fine. Maybe if you (Taser and Tony, specifically in this case) would stop bringing it up (and quite antagonistically, in Taser's case; at least Tony is mostly polite about it), it would actually stop coming up. -
Quote:The only post I made unprovoked was "this part made me laugh a lot" (and that part wasn't even talking about raids), so I don't think I'd call it a tirade.I'm sorry, but you're being entirely unreasonable, and you didn't answer my question. How long do you intend to keep up this tirade? Months? Years?
But to answer the question as asked: seventeen more days. -
"Yeah, we heard you, now shut up" - which, at its heart, is the only response we've heard so far - is never going to get people to actually shut up.

For those having problems: try switching to Hero, then back to Villain. I can switch to Villain just fine, so you may just need to switch to kick some bats out of the forum belfry.
-
And you say I go off on tangents. The only majority I talked about was the majority of people that don't use the forums. I'm not sure where the rest of that tangent came from; it certainly wasn't from anything I wrote.
Also, I'm not sure what Incarnate system you're using that has anything to do with the Markets or Merits; it's certainly not the one I've seen. I used Markets and Merits to get some nice Inventions, though. That was cool. -
Quote:Try to ally yourself as the "majority" all you want, it remains fact that people that feel like you either apparently feel no need to speak up, or don't exist. We might be a minority, but you're even more so of one.But that won't stop the vocal minority from trying to reach that mythical quota in their heads.
The only real majority anyone can claim on the forums is the majority of folks who think "Forums? What forums? Why would I want to mess around with forums?" -

Quote:Comedy is infinitely more valuable than Incarnate Power.I like the irony that people consider the trials not worth their precious time but yet are content wasting their time writing what is essentially NC Soft Marketing Team fan fiction about it.
Yes, fight the pow-ah.
Also, five to ten minutes writing a comedy post isn't comparable to an hour running a trial. -

There's actually a reason the CoX version has an e at the end; this product predates GR by quite a bit.

Quote:*shrug* I don't really care about spoilers.KHAAAAAAAANNNN!!!
By the way, the words "Spoiler warning" only count if you actually give the person a chance not to read what comes afterward. It also helps to be bold, in CAPS, and screaming bloody murder not to go any further if you don't want to see what's coming next.
