I just managed to get all my decimations, posi blasts and entropics tonite after a bit of patients and waiting (still leaving me with more then 10 mill).

I bought the cheaper IOs (red fortune, doctored wounds etc) with other toons so a simple transfer is all i need to get them

I still need to buy sting of the manticore and last time i calculated all together the set will cost less then a mill

and after all that im siting on 63% rech. still trying to figure where im gonna get that last bit without getting a LOTG
(im really against getting one because of its stupid high price) im planning on getting the 1 hour base empowerment if i fail to get the requiered rech

P.S has anyone managed to get permadom without a LOTG rech?

im still selling high value IOs when i get them from the cap SF which im managing to do almost every nite
and since i dont need to buy a LOTG rech (thank goodness the snipe is usful for something other then pulling )

and most of my set bonueses are coming from chaep IOs like red fortune, stuperfy, doctored wounds etc i should be set for permadom in the late 40s

P.S. The_DefUser, what lvl did u obtain permadom? i can only manage a build in my late 40s

P.S.S to anyone who cant afford a luck of the gambler but happens to have a snipe you can 5 slot it with sting of the manticore which will give you 7.5 recharge

i have a low lvl fire/psi and he is the most painful character i have tried to lvl up, so i would love to join the all domi team

just got back to CoV (ive been on CoH for a number of months now) and wanted to IO my villains but i dont have enought money to do so. but i have more then enough on heroes.

so, what i wanted to do is transfer my CoH influence to someone (about 26 mil) and the same person willing to do this would transfer the same amount to me on CoV.

[/ QUOTE ] In my opinion you would be best concentrating on increasing your defense & resistance to psi using the IOs sets. You can acheive a good defense to energy damage without having to try and slot IO sets especially for it. Having said that you will still need unstoppaable for AVs that do energy damage.

On the other hand you need to really concentrate on psi to build it up to reasonable lvls as the resistance starts at zero.

Below are the approximate figures I have achieved for the defense and resistance on my inv/ice tank, although it costs well over 100 million influence to achieve it todays market.

Figures given as DEF v 1, Def v 10, Resistance
Smashing 24.1, 45.1, 88.1
Lethal 24.1, 45.1, 88.1
Fire 25.7, 46.7, 29.9
Cold 25.7, 46.7, 29.9
Energy 24.1, 45.1, 27.1
Negative 24.1, 45.1, 27.1
Toxic Not shown on planner, 31.5
Psi 15.5, 15.5, 39.3

So as you can see I can acheive a defense of 45% in regards to energy damage v 10 foes in melee range.

i dont have anywhere near that. maximum i have is 15-20 mil
so i think your build is out of the question for me but i was thinking, if i acheived perma dull pain (should cost far less then 100 mil) would my bumped up health be as good as psi/energy defence?

ive just made an Ivn/SS tank and im going to focus on IOs
as soon as i can but heres the problem..

i have a BS/regen scrapper (lv34) who is slotted with crushing impacts and doctored wounds and atm im about 20 secs shy of perma dull pain

i was thinking this would be equally as good with a tank but looking at other threads about inv holes i was thinking, giving him energy or PSI defence would be better

could anyone with experiece or a valid opinion share there thoughts?

i just rolled a TA/A and loving it at the moment but i noticed that i hardly use any end (havnt even used half a blue bar yet) im only lv 6 right now but i wanted to no from higher lv TA/A if the end gets worse or not? also i might add manuvers and assult but i thought i could 2 slot them with an endred and i should be ok
