now lets see if they bring the servers down 2 hours earlier than planned too
*sharpens pitchfork*

At first all i heard was ghost stories about the LFG option, in that it was useless and just a worthless new update, however now my view has changed after last night.
Now and then i like to street sweep the shadow shards because of the good drops i tend to get from them [they're my very lucky drop group] and decided to stay in the LFG que for first available while doing so. 15 minutes later a popup came up asking me to join a lambda!
A current lambda league didnt have enough players and was space for me and what happens when they loaded into the trial? Damz has gatecrashed the league baby yeah!
So while the LFG system might not be perfect, i certainly think it is a good little thing -
Was hoping to fit in one posi before i have to go away for a few days

Trying to log into the game [running through via the NCupdater if that helps] and no patch was there so clicked play straight away.
Gets to the login screen fine and to the server selection, however chosing a server i get the message
Wrong protocol - get latest version of the game
Then i get sent back to login screen, maint still on? Other people able to log in? -
Like i told you ingame, your a proper master of these trials
-
Note for european players:
If you need the influence to finish off the bar to unlock a slot then send me a message and i'll send you the influence needed to pay up to 50% of the barOne time deal per global!
Im on the bandwagon that loves the trials, the trial is an experience and it is an experience that you yourself make good or bad.
Plus . . . ION BABY! -
Take care dragon and hope to see you sooner rather than later

Quote:I think is stupid to have Super Inspirations in a reward table for trials.
They are just there to someone to pick them by mistake... I dont get why anyone would pick them instead Incarnate component.
So people who help others to do the trials and help them get the new powers have a reward too
Plus . . . . . shiny! Swear its worse than keeping limited supply of temps. I've had warwolf whistle at 1 for about 3 years now on my mine and even though i can get it back easy enough, its the case of "but i might need it . . . . " -
Everybody knows that when something new comes out, a lot of people would rather join a team with a leader with will guide them through it rather than just jump in blind folded.
Tuesday/wednesday thats what i did, knew that a lot of people wouldnt want to risk being seeing as a bad leader if they failed terribly so for those two days i led them nonstop with a rotation of people who had never done it before constantly.
This was a very positive move because the people who at the time were like "no i dont want to lead, no chance, no way" are now leading their own trials or at the least offering advice as one goes along.
Quote:This is kind of where im at atm, i did run a LOT of trials initially but i didnt want to be seen as somebody who would always take the lead, i wanted to just show people the basic tactics to them so others can not only run their own but improve it [which has been done to the point that a Mo run is almost every time now]2. I've run ten TFs the past day and a half and would like to just relax and let someone else do the dirty work
Quote:3b. BAF trial who is going to which starting point during the escapee phase. Aside from that the rest is pretty much just KILL anything in your way. About the only horrid decision to make is.. who is going to go taunt the AV to the tennis courts. OUT OF CONTEXT.. what is a tennis coourt doing in the middle of a prison?
Then thats the thing with this tactic, the leader has to decide/mix the teams up so that each time has a good chance in their role and its got to the degree now of such ease that people are wanting to send 1 member of their AV team to the reinforcement team to get a chunk of that ixp + drops [3 purps in 4 days! woot!].
Quote:LOL Come on Tony you know what I am talking about. There is a fine line between giving good direction and just plain annoying/ticking off people. Of course on something like the Lambda or BAF you need to ensure people do things in the right order. But when a leader is just constantly in chat telling you how to do everything including how to tie your shoelaces they have crossed over from being effective to being an overbearing jerk.
But it is also good at same time if your running a league with a lot of new players to the trial since sometimes you do need to be strict in these instances.
Suppose all it comes down to is basic manners isnt it
But did think you missed out that being a leader your constantly having to fill the spaces that becomes availableAfter a trial its a good 1/3 of the trial to be refilled everytime

Currently got my main to the level of incarnate powers in that i can now take it easy and just pick whatever reward i like when i finish the trials, thus far whenever i get a common/uncommon table i pick the super rewards aiming to get a full tray of supers.
Now out of the 5 available slots, 4 of them are now full with supers and i have hit a dilema . . . . . i dont want to use them
They look so shiny and usefull and there arent that many about and im just stuck now, do i use one of the slots and try and keep 3 slots perma for "backup super insps" while the other 2 slots are for use?
Does anybody else feel a tad . . . . whats the word . . . . . guilty if they use one?
[also, how come i KEEP getting the +acc/+end supes! every single time . . .] -
Lore: Army of clones
Interface: Minor self buffs to player
Destiny: +travel speed/acc
Judgement: Does the back spin from the claws set [cant remember the name offhand] but stays in the air while spinning for a few more seconds before landing on the ground in the alternative animation for foot stomp. -
Before i20 when you had a PM it didnt have the chat bubble above the player show the players name IN the chat bubble too but does now, wasnt sure if i should bug it or not since i hadnt heard anybody mention it before?
Also, when i have had offline PMs, here in the EU i have been getting the time that they are sent in one of the american time zones [not sure which, was about 2ish BST and it said 4am on PM]. Was defo the wrong time since i had actually crashed and was offline for about half hour so was during that time frame. Anybody else in the EU getting the wrong timezone? -
Damzs incarnate powers so far:
- Rebirth = tier 1
- Clarion = tier 2
- Barrier = tier 3
- Seers = tier 3
- Ion judgement = tier 4
- Interface whatever = tier 2

Quote:This i find isnt correct, while it does take a lot of coordination to do a complete trial, all it needs is one leader to shout out or take command and your sorted. You can't expect to go all the way in the first attempt of a PUG league that hasnt done it before, its just not possible in my mind [someone will prove me wrong now].
3. The trials require a great deal of coordination that most PUGs just dont have. (especially when talking about multiple groups of people) I think they need to develop single group TFs that provide the same rewards.
At first only a small handfull of players knew the actual tactics to achieve the goals, it was up to them to let the other players know and guide them on the first few attempts. Thus now the majority of players i team with on the trials now know how to do it.
As always, its the same with every new content thats difficult. I love it -

Quote:Been having nothing but successful runs with either trials on defiant. Every AV fight is done on tennis courts, saves people getting picked off on way to places as only one highly survivable toon needs to go get AVs. Then both AVs just get fought at courts an all. Good to know that when I come to do them on union I shouldnt have too many wasteful tries.
Yeah true but do get a badge if you keep them seperate -
For now i prefer to add people who havent done the BAF before and show them the tactics we use, almost 100% of the time first time has failed but since then those people have been having complete trials and enjoying them which is the main thing
Think union can safely say we will have a lot of incarnates -
Quote:I've had a lot more trial crashes since the 6 hour maintI have zero problem for them taking the afternoon to fix the trial crash bug. Even if I was barely affected. I completed around 20 trials, and 3 others were crashes that happened almost at the beginning. But I hear some people have had very bad luck with many trial crashes. so hopefully it gets fixed quickly.

Quote:so far i've gone for clarion/rebirth and barrier for destiny so depending on the league setup i can change to benefit the league best.personally i'm more interested in judgement and interface than the other 2, as far as the actual powers go that is.
Ion really adds well to my elec/shield/pyre AoE maniac :P and the -Res proc on top of that is just beautiful to watch :P
Destiny is the only one i'm still undecided on though (gonna go Clockwork for Lore) torn between Ageless and Rebirth on destiny
For example on a MSR i can use clarion for the +status protection. On the new trials if a heavy melee team i will use barrier to cap everybody's resis/def for when the re-inforcements arrive. Finally rebirth because i just have to have a heal now and then if the other basics are covered. -
Quote:I nabbed ion in StormRed.
I then quickly popped to St. Martial and abused Freakshow with it. It was beautiful.
Next stop: interface. /o/
Everybody is going on about interface and which to pick, but thats the only one i aint fussed with.
I will give it a try but for now, all my other slots/powers have way higher priority to make the trials as easy as possible.
Which interface you going for mate?
