You call a conga line around atlas random?! :O

Oh you have no idea what i have in store these next few weeks do ya . . . . . . *shines random halo*

Heres a list of things i want to record:

A bunch of "baby heroes" charging head first at a GM.
The hollows sprint race
Hide and seek in the perez park maze
Video tours around supergroups bases as a way to promote them.
Video tours through a persons MA mission [same reason as above].
PVP fights.
A person dinging level 50.
etc etc

Finally able to convert and upload videos to youtube! [for a complete techno nothing im proud of that ok!]

So introducing my noob cam! Every few days i'll post a new video with a completely random thing happening on it!

As an example i so far have a giant conga line that we got to go around atlas that kind of went badly wrong [funny video though] and a game of slapsies between two heroes on top of the globe!

As a side note for some reason at the moment the video "stalls" for the first half, on the above video you need to skip to 40 seconds to start it. Working on fixing it now, future videos will be of much better quality. Also sounds broken atm but since the first 2 are just tests i think its ok

So if you want some random thing recorded and uploaded to youtube/want your MA mission recorded/whatever! then post on this thread and i'll post a link to it!

I'll never go for a complete set, i just look for the ones that can finish off a power that would have better sets for the minimal use. So for example i have 6 slotted all my resis shields.

Each one has 3 titanium coating (if thats the one with the +hp, if not the one with +hp) and can now slot the other 3 with resis PVP ios for an extra 2.5% endurance per shield [which is the best bonus out of all the 2 slot resis IOs imo].

Ah i could have possibly looked at one of the other pvp uniques, if so im sorry. Though with the amount of people farming them it was going to shoot down in price. Like just now i bought a resis/end pvp IO for 25 mill and a few days ago it was easily in the 50+ million bracket.

Easily enough KB protection. Got the mag 4 KB protection IO and acrobatics. Plus im making my way to get 3 of the pvp resis IOs which would give me an extra 3 kb points (i figure slotting 2 pvp resis IOs in 4 of my shields for an extra 10 endurance would be well worth it, just a bit expensive).

Really trying to get all the stats as high as possible, know i aint nowhere near as skilled as the majority of you pvpers (last few days have made that painfully clear ), but if i can get the stats up then maybe i'll stand a better chance

Pvp procs in attacks or auto procs? Only ones that come to mind are +def/+resis that would suit a fire/da scrapper.

well i know that But they dont exactly seem a resistance group that we would join to help, need a group like vanguard or something military to get me to join, not a circus

Determined to make noob buster [fire/dark armour scrapper] into a half decent pvper, already got quite the bit of sets now and slowly coming to the final few slots to fill.

Atm i have something like:

41.5% recharge
1.61x acc bonus
50% resis to all except psi which is 64 [obviously 1 of 2 are a few % above/below the 50).

Now i have 5 free slots left that i can fill with "special ios" if needed, however im not sure what would be best for RV?

Can fit any 3 resis set IOs
Any 2 def IOs

ATM my thought is on the +6% acc IO [not a unique?], another 7.5% global OR the 3% resis to all, and for the 3 resis IOs im thinking about filling them up with 3 + 3% psi resis.

Am i heading at least into the right direction or should i focus more onto something else?

Well yeah if i use wedding band then quite easily, but i like to use my temps as a last resort/max me out kind of thing If i can get to 55 - 60% for all then hopefully i can cap all my resis with the help of a temp power!

I don't often utilize things much in my builds if they cost over 100 mil a piece. I do have some LotG +rechs in storage from when they cost 20mil or less a piece. Other than that, I just do TFs and hope I get lucky with random rolls.

That's how I make my living, I tend to get ranged damage IO's for my scrapper though
I wouldn't pay 100mil for an IO either, it's hardly worth that much for the small bonuses anyway.

Would it be possible for us EU players to have a forum section to post competitions/events on please? Could have a good knock on effect in that people will start organising more knowing that it'll have better advertisement
Would need to be near the top of the forums though to reach its potential imo though.

My 45 months here i can never remember 800 - 900 per night, except if it was at the VERY start of the game Most i ever see online is roughly 500.

They stopped recently the transfer of EU > US and vice versa and while yes two of their servers have insanely high numbers, the rest of them are roughly the same as ours (think our union/defiant would rank between 3rd or 5th in population).

Also after my 2 months away from the EU just after xmas going to the US i can happily say i was glad to come back! Yes you get a HEELLLLL of a lot more PUGs and randomness but the sheer rudeness/elitism over there is unreal. Oh and once they found out my character is from the EU all my experience became "null and void" apparantly . . . . . .

Stay with the EU and the special community feel we have!!!

I had a dream the other night that whilst in a bar doing a quiz i suddenly fetched little blue circular symbols hanging on the curtains that in my mind where access or pieces to access the shield set (note the power symbols used in game). One of which i knew was the active defense came as a bracer which slotted on my arm and i assume give me the shield (although i never actually seen a shield in my dream). Strangely enough at the end i stumbled upon a fight with some rough crowd... the ironic thing was i couldn't fight in my dream, i was stopped by some force if you like.

SO i pose the question... time for a long break from coh? or just a love for the game shining through?

While there will be Heroes in Praetoria, I don't think we should assume that the entire world is a simple mirror of our one - for example, it's quite possible that Praetorian Hellions are the same moral type as our ones - not every criminal would be recruited by Tyrant.

Oh that bit is obvious, every villain group would want to take advantage of our dimension v tyrant war to gain control. However there is bound to be some pockets of "heroic resistance" even in their world which would be our starting point surely?

As the title says!!! What badge when you see/get it makes you think wow that player is something else! Whether its needed by extreme farming or simply a badge thats REALLY hard to get, state your opinions here! Also can say your favourite badge if you so want

Now we all have our favourites! We all have those arcs/missions in that if we get invited to it we go all gleeeeeee with wooness. Share your arcs here and help share the greatness of it so others who havent heard of it may do so!

Now i have two personal favourites here. Firstly the "magic man" arc, even though its nothing really special its the concept and the final battle that really made me fall in love with it.
Has to be said that the final boss battle is my favourite fight ingame, the first time i faced him i died due to me laughing so hard from the sheer awesomeness!

Secondly i'ld like to add a relatively new arc created in the same issue. Now im not sure what the arc name is but its the one when you have to recover a magical artifact the warriors have stolen and hercules wants your help in defeating the guys who have took it.
Why is it my second favourite? Because im a BIG fan of sheer chaos/fighting against obscene numbers mission, and again the final mission when your facing the boss and you get all those ambushes when your in a full team is just one of those "omg how did we survive?!?!" moments

Long live team carnage!

So post your favourite arcs and lets see if enough people chose the same ones lets get a team going to do them!
