All true I suppose...
I'll go ahead and finish it and see what becomes of it. -
So I got to thinking after reading through various discussions about what may or may not be abuse and what may or may not get an arc banned...
One of the arcs I've been working on is a villain side equivalent version of the sewers in Paragon City. I don't believe I need to explain what a sewer team is and how they are often picked up, what they do and how they do it. Ultimately with how little experience is needed to level up in the really low levels and the fact it has it's own diminishing returns (don't think I've seen anything in there above level 10). Naturally I think anything that mimics the sewer team experience nearly exactly could not possibly be considered an exploit.
Or can it?
Technically it would be a custom arc with the expressed purpose of creating a situation where characters will gain levels quickly. The cap on gaining levels will be quite low of course, and teams would still need to make sure all were within 5 levels to still gain XP. And any newly rolled toons would have a tougher time with the trek through Mercy Island to the AE building than any hero in Atlas Park has getting to the sewers.
So, if you guys saw such an arc, would it be ban bait? Would it be useful? Could there possibly be a player demand for such a thing? -

Here's my arc:
Arc Name: ParaCon
Arc ID: 10000
Faction: Clockwork
Creator Global/Forum Name: @Vanden
Level Range: 1-20
Difficulty Level: Easy-Medium (Clockwork can be tough at low levels)
Synopsis: The cosplayers at the Paragon City Convention need your help!
Estimated Time to Play: 15 minutes
It's a lighthearted chance for your hero to save some civilians and get some new fans in the process. If you want, you can go to this thread to talk about which characters in pop culture I referenced in the mission.

Arc ID 10000? Nice.
This was an extremely fun arc! I must say you've done an excellent job on the costumes as I was able to recognize most of them without the dialog. Although I could help but laugh when they guy dressed as Drizzt handed my dual blade tanker his swords!
As a mission, it's a wonderful one-off and great for either bashing away at a bunch of clocks, or checking out some creative attempts to recreate costumes of popular characters. The only downside, at least to me, is that it ran on and on endlessly while I searched for TWELVE!!! hostages. That's a lot. It's worth it to show off the costumes, but.... dang that's a lot for one mission. -

If you do critique this arc, critique it only for the enemy group, not the story or content of the missions.

It's a shame you are currently unable to expand this out into a fuller arc. I would like to learn more about your critters, their background and goals. Creepy little punks though.
All in all it looks like you've created a balanced and playable enemy group. Some of the costumes are really nice (I like the claws the best I think, but mainly due to the coloring). Some of the dialog may not need to be in all caps.
One thing you may consider, which I've done myself with my own custom group, is to tone down on anything non-standard in the costumes. Use auras, capes, wings and other unlockable costume pieces sparingly. I did that with Lord Voltor's Soldiers and found I can definitely pull all the full 5 mish arc I have planned. -
Okay, I've fiddled around enough. Let's see what I've done. I've got two semi-connected arcs, connected in that they use similar custom enemies. Let me know what you think!

Difficulty Level: Medium to High

I'm a little confused. I rushed off to buy this, primarily for the female costume pieces (I've wanted a chick in tux & tails for some time now), but I'm a bit pissed the guys still have to show up without pants that match the jacket. I can live without a damn cummerbund, I can just make do with a cloth belt for that... but unless my tux is black, any pants I choose look stupid.

I am trying to figure out something... and maybe it's just my own ignorance, since until recently I have played less than frequently...
HOW am I supposed to change my costume, exactly? I have never heard of "costume slots"... unless you mean the outfits you get at higher levels by doing missions... because I don't have those yet, nor do I think I would have any unused ones once I got the capability. So how do I change my look, exactly?
Is it a Test Server thing?
