Wow BBT already broke the boards.

Quote:After Sara Moore, took a break then came back on to run some other missions and finally an AV run with Draconis and his gang, with a dinner break of sushi for me and the misses.Quote:A special shout out to Back Alley Blaster and his crew for the PI arcs run. Fantastic!
P.S. @Arbiter Morrison, that Sara Moore was a hoot while it lasted. Which Shard TF do you want do drag a GM through with us next? -
First thing I would do is turn it over as soon as you start the game and watch your fan(s) for a few minutes to see if they are running. Toshiba, at least on the laptop I have, puts tempurature controls on the under carrage fans to not only control the speed but to turn them on also. I had to bypass the sensor on mine awhile back because it died and the fan would never turn on.
Other than that, I'd say give the vents a good blast of air to clean out any dust and cross your fingers. If it's not a fan or dust problem you have look at both the cpu and gpu to figure out which it is.
Edit: Does your windows install come with the Toshiba diagnostics suite? If it does then you should be able to monitor the temperatures to see what's cooking.
Edit 2: What kind of graphic chip do you have? If it's an integrated Intel chip then your problems may be in the same place.
Edit 3: Also might want to post your logs for people more knowledgable than I to look at.
Good luck! -
What does the ventilation of your system look like?
Does that particular video card have a fan?
I had a similar issue once where my video card was over heating and that would cause it to quit sending out a video signal first, then if I didn't shut it off it would reboot/shutdown on it's own. -
The fiance and I will join you Blac, we haven't run one in awhile. I'm not quit sure what we're bringing yet but we'll be there.

The Eden Trial awards 2 merits. Merits are awarded immediately upon completion, rather than mission exit or calling the contact. So it seems that you got the reward and the Titan does not award merits.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's what the Eden Trial is worth. The Titan is a "Monster", not a "Giant Monster", and as such is not worth any merits.

However, the Arachnos Flyer in the STF *DOES* give 2 merits (and since it respawns, you can farm it - for 6 merits an hour). I wonder if both are working as intended, or if one is bugged.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well, you get a badge for the flier and not for the titan AFAIK so it could be that merit drops are tied to badges somehow for monsters. -
Is this going to be posted as a GMoTD?
Since there is a large chunk of the player base who doesn't frequent the boards a GMoTD would really help spread the word. -
Reverse the order, put the pet select at the end. The game reads binds right to left, so that should fix it.

I see it now, I was just replying with things that had helped me in the past, and assumed that they were the same font.
Oh well, that's what happens when you assume
On a side note, does anyone remember what the character limit on binds is? I thought I saw it in one of the bind guides but I haven't seen it since, could that be part of Mezmer's problem with #2? -
emote is replacible with e, no slash though, in any binds. Same for "tell", "invite", etc. In regards to mezmer's problem though, I doubt that it will change much since the last two binds worked.
-
If you have capital r's in your actual file you might want to change them to lowercase and try it again. I had a similar problem with some binds a while back. I think it may have to do with the reference difference, like upper and lower case distinguishers in ascii, but that's just a guess.
