Hah, I think I am standing at the location right now.

I am really hoping that the last page of the script that Scifi Wire posted isn't the last page. Not because of what it said but because it ruins the ending for me if it is true.
Edit: It isn't real. The type is straight even though the paper is wrinkled and the paper itself looks like a template of sorts. -
At least it is being reported that they have not fully closed the door on the idea of concluding it completely.
-
I got absolutely nothing done. School work kept me away from the game the past couple days and when I was on Thursday and Friday, I was not able to find a team.
-
That method worked with a couple restarts of the updater and it let me on in less than 20 minutes.

Quote:I just tried what is above and so far it is working and downloading files. I will post once it is done.As discovered by dume:
If City of Heroes for Mac won't start up, and you have an error in your console log similar to "unable to load macdrv" or "unable to start macdrv" do the following:
1. Open your user folder (Users > yourname) and then open Library > Preferences.
2. Throw out the City of Heroes Preferences folder and empty the trash.
3. Start the City of Heroes for Mac client.
You will have to reset all your display settings in-game.
To open the Console:
Open Applications > Utilities, and double click Console.
Snow Leopard is still recommended for playing City of Heroes for Mac, as the current patched version is optimized for it. -
I am on Leopard on a 5 month old MBP. I missed out on getting Snow Leopard by about 2 weeks as I ordered it and got it a week before it was released.
-
I would like an answer to this as well because I have had this problem for months. I recall having the same problem with the normal client at one point but I don't remember how it was resolved.

Came across a long video for this new season of heroes. I think it would be safe to say it has some spoilers in it wit just minor actions and so forth.

Sorry, for some reason I was putting the whole jumping through time with teleportation. Though we have only seen him freeze time since he regained some of his powers.
-
The true question about Charlie coming back is how the heck does Hiro go to her when he can't time travel any more.

We now have a poster for Volume 5 and new promo.

The promo that sports a layout that I could easily do in After Effects:

Edit: Wanted to add this interview with Greg Grunberg talking about the new direction of the show.

Looks like we will get to see Peter in something of a fight scene after all. While it is not the showdown a number of us want, it should still be interesting. -
There are a couple of topics relating to the problem you are having.

A number of us were able to get it to work by disabling Cooliris which we had installed as a add-on for Firefox but not everyone that was having the issue had it installed. -
Although Cooliris seems to be the culprit, it does not affect my experience on other forums that use vBulletin, only this one.
-
Quote:Since disabling Cooliris, I have been able to stay logged in as I have left the forum and come back.Looks like I spoke too soon. It's logging me back out now in Firefox, after having stayed logged in for more than an hour this morning. Now it's acting just like it did the other day (i.e., can't stay logged in past the "Thank you for logging in" message).
EDIT: Disabled Cooliris (the extension I'd noticed that others with this problem have also) and it's currently keeping me logged in, at least long enough to attempt to edit this. I'll leave it disabled and see what happens throughout the day. -
I have only really played on Friday for a bit and got my peacebringer from 42 to 44.
-
I spoke too soon, now it is not working again.
-
While clearing my cookies did not work the first time, I did it again and so far I have been able to stay logged in after leaving the forums and going through different sections.
-
I am using the following:
Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Firefox 3.5.1
Adblock Plus 1.1
Adobe DLM 1.5.2.35
Cooliris 1.11.1
Cool Previews 2.7.6.0623
Facebookvideo 2.1.7
McAfee SiteAdvisor 2.9
Microsoft .NET Framework Assistant 1.1
Move Media Player 1.0.0.071303000006
Themes:
Anthem 1.5.3
Black Steel 1.2.2
Nasa Night Launch 0.6.20090630
PitchDark 3.5.0
And there is a whole boat load of plug-ins. -
It is a hit/miss type thing for me. Sometimes I will stay logged in the entire time I am going through the forum but other times I can't stay logged in at all.
-
I am also having trouble staying logged in. I am using Firefox 3.5.1 and Vista.
-
Yay, they are back.
I am back too, been too long since I have posted on the forums. -
Haha, I just got a negative comment from someone saying that it was funny that I thought my video is good which I never said.
