I'm glad to hear that people enjoyed themselves!

I know all the HD/HDR folks present had a great time.

I had a blast running the trivia.

Hopefully we can run another in-base party between now and then end of the year, or maybe in January.

In the meantime, we are still running weekly themed costume and trivia contests every Monday at 10 P.M. Eastern.

I'd like to thank DJ Sultry Siren and The Cape Radio for hosting; and thank you to everyone that attended!

I haven't made a serious attempt a Beam Rifle yet, so I don't really know.

Seeker Drones: I tend to use this one of two ways.
1) Throw it out ahead of me to soak up an alpha strike and then I'm right behind it.
2) Use it to pull a group into my acid mortar/poison gas/trip mines.

I think any kind of hold effect hold would hinder the second use.

Caltrops: I use a Ragnarok proc here. I find that the knockdown really helps against a big group.

Triage Beacon: I have heard that the Panacea proc will actually give the benefit to anyone standing around the beacon. I've not tried it myself.

Acid Mortar: I use and do suggest the Achilles' Heel and the Devastation procs.

Poison Trap: I think the Lockdown does help here. I have a couple damage procs as well. I think that's a matter of preference. My thought is that is if have the slots, why not get a little more damage out of it?

Reminder: We're just a couple days away from our plant themed costume contest and trivia in First Ward. That will be Monday, September 26th at 10 P.M. Eastern.

EDIT: The CC on Monday will be held in the amphitheater that you find yourself at when you cross over from Talos. It is right by the initial contact (Jester?).

Also, Hero Dawn Reserves will be running a Sadie Hawkins Dance on Sunday the 25th from 6 to 9 P.M. Eastern. I think it's going to fun.

Quick background:

Langston Lewis AKA The Gray Hunstman was a spy smasher operating for U.S. Military Intelligence in the 1930's and 40s.

He is perhaps best remembered for his role in foiling a 5th Column plot to bomb Philadelphia's Independence Hall in December 1941.

Lewis disappeared during the closing days of WWII while he was on the trail of a German Intelligence officer by the name of Wolfgang Ubelmann.

He was later assumed KIA.

A figure has recently appeared in Paragon City calling himself Gray Huntsman. What, if any, relationship this newcomer has to the original is currently unknown.

I love my Traps/DP/Mace.

It's easy to cap defenses and it has some great offensive debuffs.

Unfortunately I need to be at work during that time on Saturday

Ionia Titan usually runs the trivia portion, but I've covered it a few times.

It's amazing that as soon as the question is out my screen will light up with tells.

There's definitely some trivia experts out there who type a lot faster than I do.
