I'm in a similar place as funnyhalo; I'm looking to buy a laptop as well that can handle CoH. I don't necessarily need max settings, but I would like to be able to run it at about 25+fps w/o having it look bad. I haven't settled on a model or anything yet; I'd like to educate myself a bit before I even really start shopping so I can eliminate any unnecessary inquiries. Any model and/or hardware suggestions? I'm shooting for at least 2GB RAM, a 350-500GB HD, and (preferably) a quad core processor. I'd also like to keep it under $1k.

I designed this for a team because the last two mishes have multiple EB/AV encounters. It can be soloed w/ EBs, as I have various allies in both missions to help, but blasters and maybe some defenders/trollers might have a hard time. I wanted to make a custom group throughout the arc, but it used up too much memory. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Leave comments if you like!

I'm selling common arcane salvage w/ in the lvl 26-40 range for 150inf.

For whatever reason, the RNG loves giving me Alchemical Silvers :-P

So here's my question.

How do we get HOVER to the speed cap? I think everyone would appreciate that.

You can:

-Get rid of the auto-sk feature
-Remove MA buildings from the lower level zones (AP, GC, KR, SC and Mercy/PO/Cap) and/or keep them in high lvl zones only (Bricks/FF/PI and Grandville/St. Martial/Nerva)
-Place a level restriction on AE use like oro or a hazard zone has. Level 20 or 25+ seems very fair imo. That way people get to lvl 20 w/o all the "where's the tailor", "how to I get a paper mish", etc.

Those are the only ones I have w/o getting into a discussion about farms.

I'm not sure if this has already been addressed in the old thread but here goes:

On my bane spider character, no matter what build I'm in, I keep the crab spider backpack. Please Sexy Jay, is there anyway that I can get my arachnos cape back when I switch back to the bane spider build?

Jay = sexy

Also, is there anyway I can the arachnos cape for my other characters as well? I wasn't able to get the DVD limited edition when it came out, and when I went to try and find it in the account upgrade section it wasn't there. I am willing to fork over the cash because Jay's sexiness>my wallet. I want my characters to try to be as sexy as Jay. Anyone have any advice? Will Jay's secksi increase exponentially till the end of time?

I'm not that great of a writer so I don't know if I have alot of plot holes or not. You can submit comments to me in game, this thread or through PM. I'm really enthusiastic about this feature and would like the maximum amount of feedback on my arcs so I can make better ones that we all can/will enjoy.

The surrounding group will be random, and may contain duplicates, but I think it's the best you'll get.

That's how I did mine. In the last AV encounter I set the surrounding group to be a custom group with only AVs/EBs, and the AV itself was in an entirely different group. The AVs that spawn are random however, so that's something to keep in mind.

I wish I could figure out a way to get multiple AVs in one spawn; that would really help out some story concepts I have.

I want to do a fortunata guide, but there are so many different ways to build one that I can't experiment with them all. I figure there are the following main routes:

ST Dmg specialist
AoE Dmg specialist
Control specialist
Hybrids of the above 3
PvP Build

The build I have on live is a ST/AoE hybrid, and I just experiemented with an AoE build on test. But on test I don't have access to the IO sets ideal for an AoE or control build, so it'd probably be a little gimp w/ just SOs. I'd really like to write up a guide but i'd need some assistance. Anyone care to collaborate on a comprehensive fortunata guide?

It would only seem logical. If you're going back in time, you could stop yourself from picking say, Captain Mako, and instead choose Ghost Widow as your Patron. You could run their arcs and everything, then u could respec into their pools that you really wanted.

If this is true, then i11=great sex.

If not, then i11=avg no feeling sex

Here's something REALLY funny.

I'm a lvl 50 Eng/Elec blaster, and an ok one if I say so myself.

I was fighting babbage today, and to my horrid disgust and surprise, I found out two things:

My Power Burst Dmg has just hit the cap.
Something is wrong with melee/ ranged attacks.

I would shoot the AV with Power Burst, and no matter what buffs I used (fortitude, Build Up, Aim, Enrages of various power) my dmg was capped at 200 smashing and 224 energy.

So what's wrong with that you might ask? Well, my power burst is 6 slotted with the following:

2 lvl 53 SO dmg, 3 lvl 50 HO dmg/range, 1 lvl 52 Acc

So I just figured I hit the 400% cap, which is fine, but then this discovery REALLY disturbed me. I used havoc punch against babbage, with Build up + aim, and it did 100 pts of smashing and 372 pts of energy dmg, and this is how it's slotted:

1 lvl 52 Recharge, 1 lvl 52 Acc, both SOs.

THAT'S IT. My Build Up and Aim both are slotted with recharge. Now, you don't even have to PLAY this game to know something is wrong with that picture.

Now I always knew that my toon was having more problems than when I started, but I never dreamed it was this bad with all the other combinations. And then to read that scrappers can do MORE dmg than us? It's just a freakin' slap in the face since we're supposed to be the kings of damage, and tempts me to cancel my account just for that reason.

So why not just make a scrapper, right? Well, I hate playing them. I like to shoot things.
