I've been playing on Freedom/Virtue since I began, still gonna play there because half the time I'm teaming with the Repeat Offenders, but... On other teams there, things are getting a bit unpersonalized for my tastes. People form TFs, disband, nobody cares because there's a ton of other people.
So I'm trying to make Champion my home server for teaming outside of RO (luv them, but I want to make new friends). The problem is that I wasn't able to form a Posi thrice on a friday night, so I really need a SG
But I promise one that our team is DEFINITELY not impersonal. We do our best to involve all members and make every member feel like a important part of the team.

Ok. I admit the title of this thread was to bring you in - but there is a ring of truth to it.
The Pillars of Might, with the launch of City of Heroes: Freedom, are commencing a new recruitment phase. We are a team of 7 year veterans who have formed great friendships and have played together over a number of different games. Now, we are opening our doors for new players to join our family.
We're not looking to pad our numbers. We are already self-sufficient, with a fully functional base, excellent Allies, an active website with a talkative forum, active group projects, and a great player base. We also realize that at this point in the life of the game, some folks may have put a lot of time and effort into other groups or personal groups, and we have no interest in pulling you away.
We're just looking for new players to join us on missions, taskforces, trails, etc, and we think the best way to facilitate this is to find our team members using our Global Channel.
Whether you are a existing player with your own personal Super Group, or if your current Super Group is not as active as it once was, we welcome you to join us and hang out. If you are new player, or a returning player, we want you to learn or relearn the ropes with us. Whether you are a VIP or a F2P, we are hoping you'll check us out.

Actually. it makes MORE sense to me to see names in this form on this server.
Allow me to explain.
Player 1 has been playing "Superman" since day one. He has invested alot of time in the character, and even brings the character out when there is a new patch or end game content.
Now with the new server, he tries to create "Superman" once more, except now he is competing with Players 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 (you get my point). Oh sure, he can name HIS character "Superguy" or "Superdude", but lets face it. It isn't the same.
Hence, "Superman." is born. -

Dinah Might. Formerly of Champion server, recently moved to Virtue.
I mainly play Tanks and Melee toons. I have lead my own SG "the Pillars of Might" for over seven years, spanning over several games. I have been an active forum member and have contributed to several ingame player events.
This time around, I'm not looking to be a leader of a SG but wish to participate in another. I'm looking for a SG that is established, but would allow me to work my way up in chain of command (I don't wish to be just another number). I am mainly interested in RP Supergroups based around a JLA style. Feel free to hit me up ingame. -

Ok. Giving children coffee is stupid. real dumb.
However, to say they shouldn't have ipods....well... you must not be a parent.
I bought my two year old a ipod (she is now 3). BEST GIFT EVER. An Ipod has the ability to (a) Show episodes of My little Pony and keep her entertained while we eat dinner at restaurants. (b) contains all of her Wiggles music that we can plug into the car (c) has THOUSANDS of educational apps available from the itunes store.
The cost of an ipod is "slightly" higher then those STUPID vtech things, and has the ability to do ALOT more.
Trust me. Ipods are perfect for kids. -
