    Level 50 emotes

But still... where do you buy them? I don't see it an the market system either. Perhaps with Astral Merits? Just checked, yep! Astral Merits.

Something every player can make use of, whether they're in a supergroup or not, and which remains accessible regardless of how their alignment changes.

Plot sizes would start with studio apartment, and range up to a large house. There might be various things ported in from the regular base builder, but its primary purpose is to be another place for the player to play in, most notably when their group is unavailable, and the player is otherwise just twiddling their thumbs for whatever reason. Having somewhere like that to go "do stuff" in would be amazing.

The other thing for bases I'm hoping for is that they drastically lower the costs. Base raids never took off and were eventually scrapped. So why maintain excessive costs for bases? The only people who can have the gorgeous bases are the ones with large SG's and active members. If you're a solo player, or your SG has moved on to other things, you're stuck with a default base and a half-dozen items before you just run out of oomph. (Which brings me back to the personal lair concept above.)
In the comic version of CoH, they start the whole scene in an apartment setting. As for the personal space or layer, you have your work you do throuout the whole city, and your "office" as your SG base, why not a place to call home? Start a Paragon Real Estate Co. and people can rent, lease or buy an apartment / condo / houses? or whatever. Just as long as people don't start turf wars.
  3. So I have had for a while now, about all the gladiators, and as a Defender, stuck my neck out to find Shivans and Blue Ink Men in PvP zones abd such, and have never seen an event for Gladiators. I am not sure if but a few players even have any defeat badges worth playing, but for some veterans looking to play some mothballed toon they used to run with, this may be the thing that redeems them. I have played once or twice with some friends, and it's really neat to try all the dynamincs. I's kind of like playing chess. You build a team and see what works, and if someone gets an edge, you find something that counters that, and they work against your solution as well.

I play on Freedom, but don't get on consistantly every night, but if someone is and can organize some gladiator action, I would try my hand at a throwdown.
  4. So I got some thoughts...

Usually a patch gets an official patch note on the initial splash screen under the "Patch Updates" tab (which brings you to Patch Notes). Why didn't this get such an entry? It seems a bit rushed and knee jerk reaction. Instead we got to dig around on the forums to see what got affected. And the (I'm guessing) official announcement is very vague and not so explanatory, just a "here it is" *plop*. This didn't seem so protocol-like.

I have 2 AE arcs published, both have allies. I never got either one of them played very much, because like folks say, it gets buried in all the other AE missions. (WhatÂ’s it up to now? 100k of missions?) No way to find a needle in a haystack. But like other story tellers have said, it their part of the story, and as long as they fight, they rob you of sorts by assisting you, so their your own punishment, but also the only way some objectives can be done solo.

I have enjoyed doing AE missions because I find it beneficial for the salvage and a decent chance for a good recipe. (Although more often than not struck out at recipes) I found tickets were a stabilizer at being able to get the salvage you need at a constant price and not paying a ridiculous price for something a day-trader has artificially inflated for profit. (Another form of exploit)

Like with other things in the game, AE did have it's ways to level toons quickly, but I think it's how it has destroyed other zones that has made it a huge nuisance. I can go to Warburg and launch rockets all day, or Bloody Bay and do anything you want, or Striga and never see a soul. It's cool in a way for my squishy toons that aren't built for PvP to do stuff in a zone that otherwise would be suicide, but sad in a way to be all by yourself also.

I really don't want to see AE go away, as I said it stabilizes some things, but it has become a "camel in the tent" kind of thing. I trust the Devs to sort things out and make things fair.
  5. Now if AE could go as far as to let you make your own map like Sim City, I could spend hours making worlds.
  6. So I have a Fire/EM already to 50, in fact it was my second toon to reach 50. Right now he's such an endurance difficient squishy. I can manage the squisht part if i'm on a team, but would really like to help his endurance. Any ideas on how to manage this guy?
  7. I have a Fire/EM which was my second levlel 50 toon. My first was a Defender, and was a little tired of being a squishy that couldn't really kill anything efficiently. I was told to build a Fire/EM Blaster, and they do a fair amount of damage and can PVP really well. I recently dusted him off and I was really supprised how fast the end gets sucked down. Most toons seem to have a way to replenish their endurance some sort of way, but this one has no way to manage his endurance at all. There is one conserve power, but that really doesn't seem to help, so I really need to find a way to give him more endurance.
  8. So I remember being able to see the supergroup badges in my badge list, (I think) but basically, I don't know where to check for it now. I know a lot of things for supergroups have changed. (like base raids and SG missions) have the SG badges been changes as well? Mainly, I think the healing badge is one we need to work on, and if we CAN see this, is there a progress bar for it? I did a search, but this topic or any of them does not show up on any search returns.
  9. I am curious, how do you turn the camera around on yourself? Or are you getting someone to take one for you? I have only been able to take shots of the back of my head unless I mapserve and can spin around on myself. I would love some cool pics of my toon.
