I need to defeat 200 Banished Pantheon Spirit masks in order to get the Spirit Badge. I've been patrolling Dark Astoria and Talos Island, killing them one at a time, but this is slow and tedious. Is there a faster way of doing this?

I hope this question doesn't sound too ignorant, but I've got a stalker that I want to be able to go to Independence Port. I'm told that I can't go there until I change my status from "villain" to "rogue".
So, how do I turn my "villain" stalker into a "rogue" stalker? -
Quote:Thanks Rigel. Your advice has been rather helpfulI'm not sure this applies to you, but when I republish the arc, it updates on the server for anyone who starts playing it, but the copy I get if I edit it again somehow does not update. This means if I edit it a second time, the copy of the arc I'm working on rewinds back to its previous state, and if I republish, the previous edits are lost.
Logging out to the character select screen then relogging back in gets me a correctly updated arc to edit. Changing zones might work too, I haven't tried that. -

I'm a veteran when it comes to AE. I've got 20 published missions so far and I've gotten to be quite adept at the logistics of mission creation and mission editing, however in the last two missions I've created I've had some serious problems.
For starters some of the characters I've created wont say the dialog I've written for them.
I'll write it. Then I push the "Republish and Exit" button. And I'll get a message that says that my mission has been updated, but If I play the mission or go back and check the text later, I'll find that the dialog is no longer there.
Sometimes I have the same problem for animations.
And on at least two occasions, I've added a whole mission to the arc, clicked "republish and exit" and even though it told me that the arc had been updated, when I went back and checked later the entire mission was missing!
What's going on? -
I've just published a new AE mish arc, but in the last mission the two escorts refuse to say their dialogue.
I've written dialog for them, but when I led a team thru the mission, the escorts never said a word.
When I went back a re-wrote their dialog (and saved the changes) I found that the dialog still wasn't there.
I keep going back and re-writing it and saving it, but the system seems to be refusing to save their dialog (even though I get a message that all changes have been saved).
What's going on? -
Quote:I do have more than one account, but everything in this arc is unique to this account. I'm thinking it must be a bug.The arc file you're trying to save uses a map, enemy, or costume part that needs to be unlocked with tickets at a Ticket Vendor. Reasons I can think of for this happening:
1. You have more than one account and are trying to transplant this arc from an account that does have the "thing" unlocked.
2. You inserted the "thing" into the arc file manually.
3. It's a bug, petition it.
How do I petition it? -
I'm working on a new AE arc and when I clicked "Save and Test" I got an error message that read, "Attempted to use unlockable content name that has not been rewarded to the entity."
Actually this error message came up four times for the same mission.
What does it mean and how can I correct it? -
Quote:What I eventually ended up doing was starting off at the Chum Bucket (which is technically in Sharkhead) and after that the labor union leader flees to Mercy Island and the second mish in the arc takes place there. You could use an abandoned warehouse or abandoned office map to represent a Scrapyarder hideout. That's what the canon Scrapyarder missions generally use.
Or wait for i17 open beta and see if one of the existing outdoor Sharkhead maps is added to MA.
It's not as cool and visually exciting and detailed as I would have like, but at the end you get to fight Captain Mako and the battle sequence is very cool -
I was planning to do a new AE mission where the miners on Sharkhead Island organize a labor union and go on strike to demand safer working conditions and a living wage. However Kirk Cage decides that it would be cheaper (and more fun) to simply kill the leader of their labor union and use fear and intimidation to get the miners to go back to work. So the Cage consortium sends armed thugs out to kill the labor union leader and it's your job (the hero's) to go and rescue the labor union leader.
My first big problem stems from the fact that there are no maps ofr Sharkhead Island available for AE missions!
Does anybody have any ideas for how to deal with this problem?
I was also hoping to have a sequal mish in the same arc where you help the ghost of Scrapyard in a rematch against Captain Mako, but without a Sharkhead map to put it on, I don't think this will work. -
Quote:I appreciate the advice, however it doesn't seem to be helping.I had this same problem on the small cargo ship maps: for some reason, chained boss spawns in the 'back' of the ships sometimes don't spawn at all.
I tried 2 ship maps so far, and got reports on both... this doesn't seem to be an isolated issue. I never had it happen during my tests (so I couldn't use the 'move to next objective' button to find out where exactly the boss was hiding); the other bosses + destroyable object are also chained and always spawned without issue. I moved the final boss to a 'middle' spawnpoint for now, so far so good! (?)
-- Z.
I tried moving my boss to the middle. I also tried moving him to the front. I even tried putting him in the "any" position.
No matter what I do, he won't show up. -
Quote:I had removed the "defeat all" objective the very first day. I thought that might help, but (sadly) it seems to not make any difference. From what it sounds like, this is a case of the map just being bugged. The only suggestion I can make is to remove the defeat all objective if you have it, or try and find another map to use.
I agree the map may be bugged, but the Midnighter club is essential to the plot for this mission. If I place the mission on another map it screws with the storyline. -
Yes. Several battles are supposed to take place (Leprechauns vs Midnighters) after the boss is either wounded or dead.

I'm an old veteran when it comes to creating and publishing AE missions, however today I ran into some serious problems with my newest creation (which I just published today).
1. I inserted a boss into this mission, but when you play this mish the boss is nowhere to be found.
2. Whenever I run a team thru this mish, half the team ends up in limbo where there are no walls, no floors, no color (other than black) and no villains to fight. There's also no exit. I've run six teams thru this mish and it's happened with every team.
3. If you manage to defeat all the foes on them map, click on the one clickable item and free the one ally you STILL do not complete the mish and you end up standing around wondering what you're supposed to do next. There's nobody left to fight and nothing left to click!
Anybody have any idea what's going on here? Is there some new glitch in the AE system I should know about? -
I liked your arc. It actually had a plot and dialogue. So many AE arcs don't have anything like that. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into this. I gave it five stars.
Please play "Arrest your girlfriend", arc #377988 and let me know what you think and hopefully give it five stars. -
Okay. I'll play your arc and rate it five stars or give you a good reason why I didn't think it deserved a five star rating.
In return I'd like you to play my most recent arc which is named "Arrest your ex-girlfriend" and is arc #377988.
This is supposed to be somewhat humorous, however more importantly it has a plot and (in my opinion) good dialogue.
This may not be the best of the arcs I've created, and I love ALL of my arcs as if they were my children, however this is my most recent creation and I usually favor my most recent creations over the older ones. -

I've published 15 AE missions and non of them are farming missions. I've always written missions with interesting plot lines, cool custom characters, amusing dialog and eye-catching (sometimes sexy) costumes. Is anybody with me on this?
When I get more time, I'll be posting the ID numbers for my published arcs. I hope some of you will be interested in trying them out. -
Quote:Hey all! I'm Firebug and I just recently found out about this game. A friend had mentioned it was a good game and some people even rped. I started downloading the trial last night and I'm looking to play when it is done. While looking around the forms I found a rp thread about super heroes living in a building. While on the trial I'll not be able to join a super group, but I was wondering if anyone would be willing to rp -in game- and go with something similar to this. I'm honestly just looking for some rp in game instead of on the forum. I can't seem to find a new rp set up in a thread. I've still not decided if I'll be a hero of villain, at this point I'll go with either that I'll have a better chance to find rp.
I'm counting on some of you rpers to post.
Hi, I'm Diane and I've got ten characters on the Virtue server of all levels from level 1 all the way up to level 50 (all heroes), but each with different backgrounds. What sort of levels and/or role-playing were you looking for? -
That fixed the problem PERFECTLY! I just adjusted the powers for those foes to the defaults and now they give XP with no problem!
Thanks -
Thanks for the advice. I'll restore the standard powers I removed from those bosses and see if that fixes the problem

Recently I've had a problem where some of the custom made characters in one of my architect missions give NO experience points when defeated. Most of the minions give experience points, however twho of the bosses give NO XP and even one of the Elite bosses gives NO experience points!
Does anybody know what is causing this problem or have any idea how to fix it?
