Quote:Ice works and both the primary and secondary hopefully will share a place in Stalker's repertoire soon.War Mace will be the very last proliferation to stalkers, because it would tread on Banes' turf.
I really want Ice and Fire stalkers.
Fire, however...DoT vs. Placate doesn't seem to put things in your favor... -
Quote:Like I said before, if you shell out for the -KB IO and you have it early it can easily just go in one of your auras and replace Grounded altogether. Lightning Reflexes is too crucial of a power to drop, as that -Recharge is what makes Energize so much better.Well, like I mentioned, I already have about 22% melee def from bonuses. If I take weave & cj that means I won't be able to have an epic power pool. Or I'll have to get rid of some other stuff like lightning reflexes, but I don't want to.
The set bonuses I get from either dark blast or nightfall aren't that stupendous. And, while I like nightfall a lot with other characters, I'll already have a bunch of cones, aoe, and 2 auras. I suppose survivability will definitely be a factor in regard to aggro, too. I'll have to think about that. I'd kind of like to put a kismet: 6% to-hit in there somewhere, too, now that you mention cj...
Edit: good thinking with +rech on power sink. That makes more sense. -
No Boxing/Tough/Weave in ANY of these builds? I would consider it fairly necessary...
If you're going to run the -KB IO then there isn't really a reason to have Grounded in there...other than to cap energy resistance which is a pretty exotic damage in general... -
All this is moot any which way because we all know that Ice would be soooo much better on Stalkers. Slowing Fury, although passable with a proper attack chain, is still relevant to a brute's EARLY development. I couldn't possibly imagine the frustration in slowing your enemies when you only have two or so primary attacks at level 8. Your fury wouldn't generate very well. Plus, not enough smash, which is a reason I'm upset about Claws joining the brute powersets.

So, are there any other invites going out? Or is the Mac closed beta pretty much full?

Relatively easy to follow, generally gets you to the accolades as a first priority. Now if only they had one for villain side. -

I'm not 100% sure about how to fix that, but remember that a lot of these binds are a little old...things may have been changed.

Hmmm. So no one else has any theories or information? -

* Checky says:
Hey, if you are an Inv/??? tanker, here is a rather sweet bind.
/bind <key> "Local ADRENALINE RUSH!!!$$ Powexec_Name Dull Pain$$ CC <explained at bottom>$$ E Frustrated"
Basically, I have this bind on my tanker, so when I used Dull Pain, I change into a costume which is the exact same as my main costume, but bigger. I also do the frustrated e-mote, which is about a close to getting mad as I could see. Try it out, it also replaces the animation for Dull Pain with you e-mote. Rather cool to do.
[/ QUOTE ]
Doesn't work at all. Copy-pasting it to a T didn't replace the animation. I've also been having a similar problem with World of Confusion and em evillaugh. I've tried numerous ways to do it and have succeeded on some occaisions but I can never manage to do it twice in a row. Anyone know how to consistantly overwrite static animations with emotes like that?
EDIT: Actually one thing I did differently, I used it as a macro instead of a bind. Would that make any difference? -
Coolest guide I've ever laid eyes on.
