With JK having Immunity again, and people worried about the votes, I can see why some are being a tad touchy about this.
The truth is, we never really know exactly why people vote. And when you're champ (and that's what the last month's winner basicaly is), then you're going to have people try to pull ya down.

We used to be the second most active server but now a days it may be that we have hit the number 1 spot , we are the unofficial roleplay server but really that just means your more likely to find rp here not that you'll be shut out of activities unless you rp .
Virtue in general is a very accepting and colorful server and with some looking about you should be able to fin a sg or vg that suits your need .
PVP , Powerleveling , pve oriented , cyber , RP , Elitest RP , heck you name it someones likely to have a SG or VG built around it .
theres a few must have channels to join like Virtue united which makes finding teams , TF's and asking questions incrediablely easy .
but honestly I can go on and on about the awesomeness and good points of my chosen server as im totally biased , like any server you'll find annoying people , kids playing Darth goku wolverine clones and folks that hit 50 with no idea what anything looks like outside the AE buildings
my best bit of advice is roll a newly minted level 1 on Virtue and come try us out and see if we are a mutual fit (both sides are really hopping right now )

The flames in PMs is just typically from PvPrs. Sometimes they throw commentary about my art into the troll to try and get a reaction out of me is all.
of course it goes without saying im a bit of a hothead and get wound up easily so I think some of them were purely for entertainment value on the part of people I regularly interacted with in pvp . -

I met suichi and Drunkfu via art on CoH and I try to stay in regular contact with them and they have both been there for me through the good times and the bad .
getting my first hand me down tablet from FrozenDeath for the cost of shipping , for a starving student at the time that was awesome sauce and still play with it
lucking out and stumbling into a RP teen oriented group on Virtue and finding out that it had graver and Starchasm in it to chat about art with and being able to rub elbows on Virtue with both artists and art collectors over 6 years .
Getting to be interviewed for the City Scoop by TA , it was a bit of a O.o moment when he asked and later I smiled and got to think "Geesh I was drawing stick figures when I started CoH maybe I am kinda improving " -
Virtue is definitely the second most populated server , current trends may have bumped it to the most populas .

I noticed on Conceptart that unless you are one of the few amazing artists, your sketchbook gets little attention, which is understandable given the sheer number of sketchbooks there. And if you are one of those few amazing artists, you are swarmed with praises, not much unlike on DA. I guess I am looking for a happy medium where it is easy to get meaningful feedback from a number of people and also be able to keep up with what other people are doing.
I usually keep tabs on a few art friends via email and we all send out regular emails with what we have been working on , theres a bit of constructive criticism , sharing of ideas and of course back patting (also lots of redlining of each others work )but it seems to work out rather well .
I've also been enjoying BW's/FD's live stream for some of the same reason , its live , theres a small group of people intrested in the subject and while the conversations are sometimes odd its nice being able to ask art related questions as will as nitpick what they are doing in a small peer group style setting (im also on my best behavior there and leave my haet or personal dislikes at the door ) stream time is time to talk shop .
on that same note id like be all for visiting other folks live stream to watch how they do their craft , we all see finished product here often enough but its pretty fun watching part or all of the creation process as it happens .
