Quote:This. I didn't even read the post because of it.Pink text is kinda hard to read, BTW....
I'm using the blue Hero background, but I can just imagine how hard it must be to those using the red Villains background (which I was using until last week.)
I understand you want to be a unique little snowflake, but that's what signatures and avatars are for. -

Quote:General rule of thumb: If you have to ask if it's worth the bug hunter badge, then no, you won't get it.Do u get the bug hunter badge for reporting things like this? If so . . .
The supremacy change was in issue 20.5 I believe
The last public guy who got one I'm aware of found a way to add infinite slots to a Warshade's form powers (prior to ED, mind you), added a ton of damage enhancements and one shotted Hamidon. -
Quote:I just want to say, "I feel you, man."If I hear another person shout out in a channel saying " We need a stone Tank for MoSTF." I am going to continue smiling and drinking my Old Rasputin knowing they have know idea.
Stone tank's got nothing on Sand Armor. -
Last day to get your influence in. I've got almost four billion in bets received, don't miss your chance to win!

According to the Facebook, they are physically moving the servers today. That's no easy task.

You are the one trumpeting that "do it all" means everything.
To be able to do +4/x8 also means that +0/x8 is likewise within capacity. Therefore, when judging whether a character can "do it all," you look to the extreme cases first. Unless, of course, you can demonstrate how fighting +0s is more difficult than fighting +4s. -
Quote:Of course it includes farming, but again, at the uppermost difficulties, we're talking +4/x8 "normal" spawns. With intelligent placement of Acid Mortars throughout a mission, it's trivially easy to always keep two out per spawn.I would think "do it all" would count farming. Which involves lots of enemies in normal spawns. Heck just running task forces and trials counts as "it all" and that has lots of regular enemies.
Again, please keep this in context. In "do it all" discussions, "normal" spawns are +4/x8 and even level spawns become the edge case. -

Ok then, by extension the entire game has no story. Why are you here?
-
-
Doesn't work that way because these enemy groups are not on par with level 50 characters. They would have to be redesigned to match the proper difficulty.

Quote:I absolutely adore the missions, myself. The first moment I walked in and saw the lava I literally gasped. I haven't had a moment like that in this game for a while.I'm surprised they expect people to pay for this. To use the phrase, "You never get a second chance to make a first impression." The first impression for this is "Wait. Dude. What?"
And you're being slightly unfair to say it's only 3 missions for $5. You actually get six missions.
They put a lot of time and resources into these gorgeous missions. Writers, art people, and powers team were all involved here. Does it justify a $5 charge? I'm not sure. I can't really say that I'd pay the $5 or not, because I know I'm not dropping my subscription anytime in the next *checks watch* year and two months. -
Oh, and is there a shield that literally looks like a large piece of bark? Because I have a concept that would go great with that. Either that or woven twigs. The tribal shield just doesn't quite work the way I want for this idea.
And can we get a steering wheel option too? Both car steering wheel and pirate ship kinds. I'd like to do a Jackie Chan tribute MA/Steering wheel character and I've got a pirate idea that would use the steering wheel and a sabre to fight with. -
Let me ask, that of the two scenarios I present, which is the more agreeable:
1) SSA as is. Exemp to 20, participate in the story, fight level 20 foes, earn rewards for fighting level 20s.
2) SSA without exemplaring. Stay level 50, participate in the story, wipe out level 20 foes, earn no rewards. -
I swear, just like marketeering, min-maxing, RPing or badge hunting, making efficient reward/time AE missions is a mini-game all its own.
-
As always, thanks.
-
I want to take the time to thank you for your efforts.
I'd only like to point out that SS is a set that will slightly favor the Tank because a Tank has higher base damage than a Brute. The damage buff provided by Rage is not enough to eclipse Fury, but it does actually help to bring the two closer in line with each other. I would suspect that with a melee set like Stone Melee, Electric Melee or Mace, you would see slightly wider performance levels. -
Quote:So take some friends on this with you.If I decide to do a low level TF (note the TF) I am in the company of other people who help to make up the shortfalls in my own build. This is supposed to be a story arc (as in not a TF).
Quote:At 20 my level 40, dark/dark brute has no knock-back prot (slotted in CJ & first armour - both level 30 IOs) The pumicites even at 0/x3 (which I solo at normally) killed me twice in the second mission (I quit in disgust). I cannot heal while lying down.
I wasn't surprised when I had to change my Bots/Traps difficulty from +3/x8 to +0/x1. Level 20 is a particularly bad time for a MM. -
Quote:Because the story takes place while you are at that level. This bothered me as well. Why the heck do I need to be EX'd down when the life of one of the greatest is on the line?
Remember that "time" is progressed in the game world through your levels. By setting the level of this arc at 20, it sets it firmly in the timeline of events that happen while you level.
