    I hope those requirements you list are wrong Red. That effectively means you have to defeat Marauder without any temp powers 3 times in 3 separate runs. Effectively that makes each of those badges the same exact thing. Not using them versus not collecting them is identical when it comes to fighting Marauder. I like to think our devs are more intelligent than that. They should have just simplified this... one badge for collecting all 20 temps, one badge for not using acid on any doors and one badge for not using any grenades. The whole "collect 10 and don't use" thing makes it unnecessarily difficult on the code tracking completion, particularly since there are deliveries during the fight, and that I think captures the intent of the badges.

    Regardless, hopefully this will get resolved quickly one way or another.

    I will re-check it when I get a chance. It has been a month or more since I did this, so it's possible something was adjusted. Regardless, I never use Aggressive in a team setting, and only use Defensive sporadically. My Mastermind is built around the "command from the rear" style, and I micromanage my pet movements and attacks frequently as my secondary doesn't require a lot of time to do things.

    This doesn't work for the Preatorian zone events... at least not the last time I tried one. I soloed the event (protestors) by issuing commands to my pets to attack things. I never used my secondary (pets were buffed just before it started), and I only have 1 attack between my primary and secondary (Force Bolt) which I never used. I still did not get the badge on that attempt, and my petition said it was WAI.

    I guess to get a better drop, I should dismiss/summon whenever a pet power recharges, put shields on everyone continually (I wonder if shielding my own pets even count?), and put Force Bolt on auto-fire. However, given the amount of summoning I did on that Lamdba run with no reward table, I'm guessing that doesn't count as "contributing". I'm glad I have another character to do Trials with before I start worrying about my MM... for now he's on hiatus until this works more reasonably.

    I figured that would come across wrong. I was simply clarifying what happened... no disparaging was inferred.

    In my opinion, when someone gets a table, they should also get the ones below it. So, if you get the uncommon, you could also pick a common component instead. Get a very rare, then you can pick anything. So far, the entire system is incredibly unfun, regardless of the Trials themselves (which CAN be fun, but usually aren't).

    I did not AFK the Trial (Lambda). I died a LOT, particularly during the temp power gathering stage. Consequently, I spent a LOT of time in the hospital and/or summoning pets. During the rest of the Trial I was targetting and ordering pets to attack, but the league make up was such (lots of Judgements unlocked) that most groups were more than half dead by the time my robots engaged. Was the contribution minimal? In that particular league, no doubt it was. But short of being AFK the entire time, anyone in a Trial should, at minimum, get the common table, which is why I really hope this is a bug and not a "feature".

    I did my first Trial run with my Mastermind last night and got a reward window that had Threads and Super Inspirations as my only options. I hope this is indeed a bug. If not, this may be the end of the road for my Mastermind.

    I'm also a fan of those books. I can't imagine trying to "gamize" the novels though. A lot of what happened was dictated by the very nature of the protagonist. Then there's the whole question of the ring... best of luck to your GM and your group.

    Currently playing: 4e, but I'm not a fan. Has been a good intro to DMing for one of my friends though. We've also toyed with making a CoH version of 4e, but it hasn't gotten very far... just an intro ruleset and a couple of encounters.

    Currently running: Pathfinder (and 3.5 Paizo adventures prior to that).

    Also own: Too many to list. :P Most recently though, I picked up the Dresden Files RPG.

    I'm fairly sure that 2 hours would not be enough. Team 2 might need another body to help start however, so you are welcome to show up and see if they need that and run through the first 2 hours. But if we get enough for 2 teams, they will probably stick with those people that can stay for the entire run.
