  1. this is only an idea and im hoping some one with better organissation skills would make this more than an idea.
    idea is simple,,one night in the future sirens call gets invaded by only scrappers and brutes no healers no buffers no stalkers no mm only brutes and scrappers.
    of coarse we would get the plonkers that wont want to play fair and turn up on a stalker or blaster, but the idea is sound IMO, What do you all think?

    Dont have to kill an emp to keep it out of the fight,some times just attacking and letting them use there heals on themselves can help swing a fight
  4. Thanks loads to everyone that commented and all yourcomments will be used ill post my new build when i get around to making it on mids,but at last effort i had close to,
    98% regen
    88% acc
    94% global rech
    and capped hp
  5. I recentantly came back to COX after a long break.
    i went to sirens on my mm was great fun except i see vills trying to kill a tank whilst a defender was healing him or i would see trollers having a free run in the zone.
    Why are defenders and trollers not killed on sight?, IMO, these ATs do so much damage just by being allowed to debuff and buff at will , i was thinking its just me i havent played for a long time and game play has changed,perhaps other people could give some insight into thses strange events
  6. hi chim , thanks for replying, and thanks for the build advice, your suggestion brings up some intersting thoughts,i had not thouhgt of using tuant, as i wanted the stun for all those loverly squishys out there, this build has got me thinking,andi can clearly see the improvements.
    this has given me the thought that i might make 2 wp brutes one with your build and one with mine and see how thry both work over time

    i had thought of that aswell but was hopinng my stuns and procs would help out there,but if this dont work out to well for that reason ill soon be planning a new build with macemastery in mind

Hi demonic and thanks for replying, i took into consideration your comments and agree on all but a tiny one so compromised,,brawl, i use brawl for fury and i i like the idea of the procs having got this build to 29 i have slotted the kinectic combost knockdown and surprisingly it works great in sirens,anyway here is a revised build with those thoughts in mind.
    ps i dont use hasten much as i have died in toe to toe duels in sirens when crash happens , this build abuses end so cant afford it imo, but its only a little thing

Ok maybe balance was the wrong word, but the point is that a lot of other players that might be up for some casual PvP dont have s go because they know they will be ganked in the zones, ok ppl say go to the arena but thats an easy answer so the gankes can have there way IMO, we all want more pplz to PvP and this might well get more ppl involved, im not saying it will cure all the PvP problems that pplz talk about on these boards but leaving it as it is will do nothing but compound the problems Pvp has now.
    all i im after at at the end of the day is for more pplz that play and love this game to PvP

Why not make one zone(say sirens call as its popular)only allow a balance into the fight?,what i mean is only allow the same number per side able to fight al others would be allowed to float around in the zone to watch the fights learn some tactics(maybe change the colour of there names to black so they dont get mixed up with real targets).
    Dont know squat about programming so dont know how hard it would be to do , one way would be to have it like when you 1st enter a zone and you get 25 sec counter instead you would have your place in the que displayed and as players leave the zone new players in the que are allowed to fight,
    this would imo stop the endless ganking happening which i think is the biggest reason most ppl dont want to PvP, most pplz dont mind dieing as long as they had a fight rather than poke your head above the railings and 25 snipers open up on the head they see.
    As i say this is just a thought and does need some refining please add your refinments below

    Ps it would be nice if the devs put in a little bit of time to making PvP better for there loyal but ganked customers

IMO with the dark secondary tarpatch you can tp foe them onto tar and then start wailing ,one of the mian drawbacks with a mm imo is a lack of mobilty, tp gets around that a little with tar pacth you got a way to keep them were you want them , its not a must but you would be doing yourself no favours by not having it

    Against a soft and unprepared target, if I'm careful my kin defender can often heal off the stalker after an AS. Plus PVE trumps pvp as far as the devs are concerned so I wouldnt be surprised if stalkers got a bit of a survivability boost at some point. Does this happen all the time? Maybe the guy just chugged a cowload of purples.

    Now, before I start, I'll say that I have a vague and painful recollection of a Blaster literally two-shotting my Corruptor and my toon not being able to do... well, almost anything to most of the enemies back in Bloody Bay... this was around the time when PvP zones were first introduced, so it was a long time ago. I left, disgusted (Heroes had all them shiny lvl 50s and were beefed up to no end) and decided then and there to keep as far away from PvP as possible...

    I didn't really keep to my promise, as I did play a bit with a Stalker (that was some sweet sweet revenge when Heroes were still so sure of themselves that they went out and killed small groups of Villains all by themselves).

    Anyway, then I made my lovely MM and didn't pay much attention to PvP, and THEN I took a year long break from CoX.

    Now, after coming back to the game and leveling up to 43, I wish to take this toon for a spin... or at least plan on to doing that.

    I've got a Robo/Dark MM... no attacks really, but I do have some holds, scares and such... and my bots of course. Anyway, are there any tips anyone could share?

    i play a mm and have good results


    Tip number one.
    Use bodyguard mode and only come out of bg mode when your either clear of the damage area or one on one and you got im held

    Tip number 2.
    Tar patch is your best friend along with tp foe

    tip number 3.
    carry lots of bf and orange inspers you will be tped foed and die lots(just have to take those ones on the chin or learn to run just at the right time)

    Tip number 4.
    It takes time to learn how to pvp and you will face some of the best at it, you have to catch up on the learning curve, you will DIE lots, learn from each fight look at why you lost and what you can do the next time to push the odds in your favour

    Tip number 5.
    Dont get upset when you get killed by 3 or 4 or 5 or 6 heros you are a mm its about the only way you can die

    Blaster can get a certain amount of "active defence" by attacking from range, most stalkers cant really do that, they need a little more scapability since the vast majority of there attacks are melee and they have even less hp than a blaster.

  22. If a stlaker had no defense outside of hide they would have no viable means to survive anything after an AS (unless regen is spamming heals).

    why should they get any defence after using AS ? they for hit and run , again on a blaster you get no defence yet they manage,also they got placate a blaster has 1 hold and still has to manage without defence

    i have played a stalker and must admit to not liking it and i also understand what you mean about them having no defence after AS, from a blaster point of view when i let rip with my attack chain i get agro but i still survive and i got no def at all, so imo my point is still valid

  25. STALKERS ARE OPERPOWERED IN PVP!!!

    Heres why IMO

    they have defence on top of there hide
    i was playing a blaster 2 days ago in sc i fired 7 shots at a stalker and not one hit i have 90% acc and damage.

    this is not moan about the damage they do although id love to see how long they last if a blaster could kill in 2 shots
