I'm working on a series of music videos, and I've got songs for Synapse, Statesman, and Manticore, but I just cannot figure out what to use for Positron and Sister Psyche.

I'm really looking for songs that convey their personalities and/or backgrounds, with stuff like powers as a secondary consideration. I am not looking for songs that are appropriate in name only (for example, "Can't Get You Out of My Head" by Kylie Minogue, while a very catchy song, isn't quite right for Sister Psyche).

Any ideas? (And if you post a suggestion, please just add a quick sentence as to why you think the song fits - it'll help when I listen to it to try and put it in a context.)

I sometimes give myself a challenge when I write, just to keep things from getting stale. The hardest thing I have EVER done was write an entire novel in dialogue. Packing in several chapters of action into one day was something I HAVE done before, in "The Sword of the Soul."

And I have a lot left to delve into... we've got the deepening of Raymond and Sorina's relationship, coping with not being able to go on assignment together, the problems with the Nova Dominion, the discoveries in the War Zone, not to mention the possibilities between Synapse and Blake!

I was actually stuck for an ending. Kid you not - had NO idea what I was going to do, and then while listening to "Boudicea," it just hit me all at once, and I went, "Yep. That's it."

Of course, it's easy to say that you're going to do things a particular way in a relationship. Actually doing it, however, is a whole other animal... as Raymond and Sorina are going to find out.

Part Two should be starting soon, beginning fairly quickly after Part One, since now the Phalanx and the Patrol will have to deal with the fact that these two can no longer partner each other.

Nope, the destruction of Faultline didn't make it into this one. A few folks have asked if I'd consider doing a longer version or a sequel and include a few more events... I don't know yet.

ARGH! I am KICKING myself for not having checked my story arcs... I couldn't figure out for the life of me why no one was playing HELL HATH NO FURY, and then Chyll sends me a tell going, "I think it's broke." And it was! AND NO ERROR MESSAGE!

Currently I have a villain who is the Netherworld echo of one of my heroes (she'd died and left a fragment of her soul in the Netherworld, and every subsequent time she's died, the fragment has been reinforced). Then someone else found the fragment and bound it to a body.

However, upcoming story events are going to have the hero die, and this time for real... and the rest of the group has the bright idea that maybe they can awaken the good qualities within the villain version to 'bring back' her hero side.

Should be interesting...
