Cross server trade has been in the game since I9

Probably not harmful unless you happened to get a great name (and would then be out of circulation) but it is a large amount of kludge.

And remember, the Market is completely 100% voluntary - players should not be forced to use it, nor should that enter into the thought process, IMO.
As is the invention system, as is the e-mail system.

If you want extra security for your trades, you may need to consider extra measures to ensure that security.

But again I don't really have anything against the idea, it may not be implemented because email isn't supposed to bypass the market. Don't forget that the market also serves an an inf sink, so ways to bypass that sink may go against the dev wishes and would be unlikely to get implemented.
  2. thank you Quinz for expressing my thoughts since I did not have a way to accurately do so.

  4. [QUOTE=Golden Girl;3214532]No - I gave you the answer [/QUOTE

No you didn't. And by your own reasoning every member of the resistance is an anarchist amd an arsonist and they only care about blowing stuff up or killing people that have done nothing to them.
  5. Sent an e-mail correcting them. Maybe we'll see an OOPS in a future issue.
  6. While i'm not against the idea, I don't think the email system is intended to be a way to bypass Market transactions.

I also see no reason why you couldn't set up an in person trade with whoever you have business with.
  7. Your dodging the question.

Circumstances determine how a person will act in a situation.

You've seen the world brought to the brink of destruction from our own nuclear weapons, you've seen the Hamidon destroy cities. Now you live in Praetoria. So define what's normal for those circumstances.
  9. define normal from the perspective of a Praetorian.

  11. Things that might require a signed NDA

1)Specific details of the Incarnate System and what each slot will do.

    2)Nemesis/Archenemy system

3)Signature Powers for PC's (whether through the Incarnate System or otherwise)

    4) a awesomely sweet Underwater/Rapture style zone. Many games try to do underwater combat. A really good system for it would be big.
  12. No I'd be working with the people that blow up hospitals right.
  13. Surprised this didn't get taken yet.

    House of M
  14. And by opening with CS your not opening with AS.

So now you have to choose do I open with AS and kill it dead, or do I open with CS and Scrap til it's gone.

This would add a nice level of strategy IMO.
  15. kMeter crits would be the only way to recharge this way. I'm not sure on the recharges of all the powers involved but I don't think it would be perma.
  16. No I'm saying the crits from Hidden and Placate should have recharged Build up instead of the %20 thing.
  17. It's not about the difference in performance. Although I don't know if there is any.

Power Siphon adds a neat mechanic to the set. That neat mechanic is replaced by the Stalker one, yet the Stalker one isn't allowed to be utilized fully. Now granted a full crit on CS would be insane, but having the build up recharge locked in to a %20 chance, which Scrappers also get, instead of the kMeter that's unique to Stalkers seems like a wasted opportunity. Which to me is a shame.
  18. Yes it's called 2 crits whenever I want.

Again it's very much a shame seeing how Stalkers loose out on the main feature of the set Power Siphon.
  19. I remember reading a correction on the COH2 thing. I haven't gotten the new issue yet but once I do I'll yell at them.
  20. It doesn't automatically recharge from Hidden or Placate Crits. It's only from the natural crits.

Which I think is a shame.

    How do I....

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought "shot web" after reading the title.
  22. That picture is about the Apex TF coming in I19 for characters with the Alpha Incarnate slot enabled. We've known about this since the PAX Panel.
