Ok, there was Peter Cushing in those old Movies who played the Doctor, but that was the 1st incarnation.

In the Official timeline there was a secodn actor who played HArtnell's original Doctor for the Davidson episode, "The Five Doctors" Because Hartnel was already dead.

There was the rowan atkinson Doctor who spoof but that is not part of actual continutity.

In real Continutity Smith is the 11th Doctor. Now the question comes in when Smith leaves who will play the Vallyard since he was revealed to be the Doctor in between is 11th and 12th regeneration.

Leandro's Issues I have not encountered and I run Win7 64 Bit with an Nvidia GTS250 1GB OC in full screen mode.

I tab between programs very easily (course I tend to use my window key so it brings up the taskbar) and as long as I run CoH as Admin have no real problems with it.

The onyl real "must have" feature is going 64 bit IMHO. Just so you can use all the memory you have.

So you know my machine is:

Athalon X64 Dual Core 4200+
4GB Memory
BFG GTS250 OC 1GB

I also have it running on a laptop and again, none of the issues listed here.

XP will get most security updates from here on out, unless it is something that requires too much work (as seen recently for some older OS's still in extended support).

As far as running everything as Admin, I only run what needs to be as Admin. If I don't ahve to, I won't just for security sake (Imagine running everything on Ubuntu as Root, and you will understand why).

The XP Mode feature is nice if you have the right type of processor to be able to use it, but it does not support 3d graphics and is intended for productivity software for business.

As far as OSes go, Win7 is nice. 64 bit does not work with unsigned drivers so you will be stuck a bit there (gotta wait for MS Approval) but doing that does tend to make the system a bit more stable.

That is my thoughts on it overall.

David was fantastic as The Doctor. I do look forward to seeing the new season and the new Kid.

I do believe the violent was to set up for changes to the look of the Tardis etc...

Since purples came out, and I play with my 50's a lot, I have gotten 1 red side and 1 blue side. That is it, which is why I had to ask.

Whether people know him directly or not, it was a rant, and a well thought out one at that.

In a game where you can get generic'd because a new game appeards with a dev who uses your character's name, how far do some of the rules go?

Soemone like Arbiter Fab, Ascendant, Xanatos, etc.. are only as well known as they are, and plenty of people don't know who they are. It doesn't make them any less important or their concerns, especiall when its more than likely people who don't know them who are claiming that they are a Dev.

In the end, I doubt, that the whole thing will go to the point of Fab having to worry about getting banned. The real devs know how the players cna come up with unique costume options, and the whole Dual Pistols set isn't even coded in game or on the open test server I would imagine.
