  1. Fascinating... Maybe this will mean tanks get all the brute power sets and vice versa... but I doubt that will happen, instead I'm sure it will give me a reason to unmothball a few brutes though.

  3. Why not have champion on the first tueday of the month per the normal and on the 3rd thuesday of hte month pick 1 of hte other servers to have it on. That provides 2 weeks of promo time for people who call that server home to get people together for it.

    Heck if this kicks off gimme enough notice on when your gonna be on justice and i'll put it out to the entire justice radio community (course i should promo tanker tuesdays anyways just cuase it's a awesome idea and a long standing tradition in the game)

  5. Very nice story. Well written and thought out, I rather enjoyed it even though I'm one of those types that has to know the lore about a MMO.
  6. Hey Brainfreeze, you planning to revamp this guide to account for the invuln change in i13 as well as any new sets that have same out or are coming out since it's inception?
  7. I love the Zombie invasion and I have had no problems getting the badges on my primary toon for the ToTing. then again my primary toon is a tanker and is maximized with io's so can handle spawns for 8 solo..

    Just as has been recommended find a team find a area with several doors in a small cyclable area (thers at least 3 in PI i can think of off hand) and have at it. The badges come quick, and i've found you do get credit for other teams kills towards your x of y badges you just can't be on the otherside of the zone.

    To the Devs, I do like others want to see some background story, Maybe a failed BP ritual or a failed CoT summoning give us some small tidbit of reasoning why suddenly the dead are rising up to attack the city.

    I have seen zombies attack mobs in zone and vice versa though which was kinda funny.. The new zomie models are great please keep em and put em to use as a new faction maybe at war with the BP... Either way just my 2 inflence.

  9. Shield/Axe Tanker and a Axe/Shield Brute for me. I already have a WM/EA brute ready for the changes though.
  10. To those saying the mitigation from /EA beats out /ELA i say no way. the reason being /EA is DEFENSE where as /ELA is RESISTANCE you can't compare apple to oranges people. Even comparing the energy dmg mitigation is comparing apples and oranges. Without pools /ELA gets hit (I have a level 50 /ELA, so i can speak from experience) and even with 90% (thats the soft cap) energy defense it still adds up, granted it takes forever to add up and with the end drain i can shut mobs down (outside of pvp). /EA on the other hand being a defensive set doesn't get hit as much ad /ELA and as such is gonna be stronger over all to dmg especially to anything that is has 41% defense to (45% defense is the soft cap for those who didn't know, unless i was misinformed) so thats close enough to the soft cap that even the minimal resistance is gonna lessen the blow enough that /EA will laugh at anything that does energy dmg even while /ELA will be laughing for a different reason.

    To Close, stop comparing a resistance set to a defense set, it's really not a valid comparison.
  11. Looking at those numbers the heal will definately be a major boon for /EA. I agree that raising the lower end benefit and then scaling it to the high end would work a bit better. I know solo my EM/EA brute has to pick and choose his battles.

    these changes coming to /EA make me wanna dust that toon off and actually play him again well if it wasn't for the fact he's also EM (used to love the set now its kinda meh)

    You know I actually posted that as a serious build, in a effor tot show that the build is in fact viable and the mitigation that WM brngs via it's disorients and such cna be used to blend into /EA's less defensive feel.

  14. When i said toggle god mode power as oveload.. I was refering to a "granite armor" type tier 9. Can't use any toggles but energy cloak, and Entropy Shield while it's active. Not only would this actually fix some of EA issues (imho) it would also help make granite not the be all end all defense set that people seem to make it out to be.

    I stand by what i said earlier about making it into a purely resistance set with a defense power (maybe 2) thrown in, and given the toggle tier 9 (even if it meant they had to reduce some of the effectiveness to balance it)
  15. Personally I think EA should be transformed into a purely resistance based set, and the %'s brought up accordingly. Maybe heaven forbid they even make another defense with a *gasp* toggle god mode *gasp*

    they could even make it partly resistance and partly defense if they wanted (see invuln but on a more balanced level). EA needs fixes of that we can all agree. But until a redname (Castle I'm looking at you for this) even gives us a idea they are going to do anything we are just wasting our typing.
