I have a Bot MM with the Arachnos Mace on villain side, And it's the only avatar I have that seems to be infected with this bug...I'll try your method out, But I'm hopping the GM's and Dev's can get this fixed soon...

Well, I'm not having a problem getting in, I just come back to find that all my Beta avatars have been wiped after the update, I'm going to copy my 50's again and see what happens now...

Don't worry, we're almost there...My beta launcher just updated. Soo we must be close to the reopening.

That's fine by me to be honest. I've been playing MMO's a long long time now. Since NWN on AOL. This game is the one game I keep coming back to each time because they continue to improve on it and make it better. I also love it because it's not another WoW/EQ clone. I love the fact that the devs actually seem to *REALLY* care about the game AND the people. That's obviously a huge plus for me
Given those facts I'm totally ok with waiting so that they can make it as perfect as they can.

Well as of now Beta will be down in about an hour or 30mins until tomarow night...late. Hopefully the account thing will be fixed by then...Peace

The account server is currently down. So if you're on the beta server it will think that you're a free player until you can synch up with it and you also won't be able to buy any of the new powersets (since the store connects to the account server it's down too).
They're trying to fix it.
Also, make sure you've got the beta client installed and not the test client.

But my thing is, Is that I'm not a recent sign up, I'm a four year Vet and I've reopened my account a month and a half ago...I'm just wondering if I did the wrong thing erasing the old test server launcher since I can't access none of the new power sets?

Yeah, when I tried to used the old Beta access, it sent me to the normal game soo I erased it and downloaded the new one and was given access but my test or beta copy 50's were wiped..I didn't mind starting over but it is quite depressing that I can't play around with the new power set while everyone around me has access.

On the character select screen, above the character list, there is a round button with three stars on it. Can you click it? If so, how many points does it say you have left to spend?
If not, then you haven't accessed the paragon point server. You should be able to see 0/0 spent even if you are not currently listed as VIP.

Well, I can't wait for the chance to try out the new power sets, And hopefully I can load a copy of my FAV 50 into the Beta soon after it's fixed. I made a lowbie avatar and dived into the tutorial and it was a BLAST but abit short...And I should have tried to see if there was a badge from killing a number of enemys and explored abit more before hitting the Boss!

Well, the DEV's must have fixed it or some thing cause I've only gotten one per day per trial now every if the mission is done perfectly, I don't mind the cool down effect I just hate only getting one Empyrean merit after all that work.

You know what N.C.Soft/ Paragon...I'd rather buy the costume pieces than go thru this much trouble to get them since my third shift job keeps me from getting to the forms on time....Or better yet why not make a Going rouge booster pack for those of us who want to spend the money because I'd love to have the Clockwork and resistance pieces instead. P.S sorry to rant fokes just got off work and havn't slept yet...lolz
