I'm noticing a theme

Wait a sec, I think I have me "will this work" build (which is something I put together to Mids to see if I'm going to hit any problems before I start levelling. Its always just SOs, and always very subject to change).

This isn't the build I currently run, but it would work alright and was my test. I know Hasten was brought forward for Stone Mallet for example

The only shop I can really get to during the week is PC World. So that would mean going into the City during the weekend.............. HELL NO!

That said there's a book shop I sometimes go to to drink hot chocolate and buy books. But for a game? HELL NO!

Got one in the early 30s at the moment.

It works very well. Take fault, slot it, use it. Combined with WP it gives you serious levels of survival. You want a lot of end mods, end reds and anything you can have. Stone Melee burns the blue good, even with WPs boost its a bit heavy.

I picked up the little mallet later, 30 I think, to get tough and stamina ASAP. Seismic Smash is lovely, with that, Stone Fist and Heavy Mallet you have great ST DPS.

Tremor isn't amazing, but as its your only AoE DPS its worth taking IMO and its AoE knockdown also works as good mitigation, especially for WP as you still gain HP back when they're lying down. Timed right with fault you need only take damage from bosses, and all the minions around you easily help you regen that back.

Stone/WP is very safe, very SMASH and very fun

If you put a 2 minute interupt on it you could call it /inthecorner

Hmmm. Cynic and Shannon make good cases too. Conserve Power is great after an EMP and Power Build Up (or Power Boost in my Grav/TAs case) is sick before an EMP. And Total Focus will stack with Cosmic Burst to stun (and heavily damage) bosses.

I have only tried two defender epics though, power and elec (elec for concept reasons on my Rad/Rad and Power for "I cant believe those numbers" reasons on my Cold/Dark) and hadn't really thought that much of Dark. I have just remember that Psygon once told me that Dark can crit, which the other epics cant AFAIK. Whether that's been changed or not I dont know, but seeing "Critical" when playing a defender would be funny

Not sure I'd want 3 boxes cluttering up my pile of boxes I have already, but I would like one, to go with the collectors edditions I have already

I'd veto that as it's removing choice/options. Oddly enough I prefer the blue/CoH colour scheme on the EU forums, but prefer the red/CoV colour scheme on the US forums.

I think it depends a lot on what you build. But I did all the villain content from 1-50 on both my MM and my Brute (my only villain 50s) so when I got there I only had SFs and the repeatable stuff to do, hero side I didn't run out of content so fast and I think I have more friends on hero side too. Of course the 15 level 50s each would have built up on their journey and I've only bothered with builds on 3 scrappers, 2 blasters and my defender but the rest still tend to have the expensive IOs that make the bigger differences.

I think it comes from the people I used to team with on villains no longer being in game for me.

I would also guess that there was more farming in heroes past before villains went live. I remember people moaning about drecking by the end of I3, so the hero market started off with much more currency, but I am sure that should have evened out by now so it must be what's happened since. I think the mid level hero TFs see much more action than the mid level SFs, which would lead to more C pool recipes........ but that's only my perception based on the channels I am in and the times I play

Would like to see it on red side as long as it isn't an MM (my enhancements went red on mine in the 40s and I didn't notice until I got to an EB)

Edit: Also I have found inf very easy to come by on blue side, I have a stock pile at the moment and nothing comes to mind to spend it on. Waiting for my Dark Blaster and my Stone Melee scrapper I guess
