yeah cause all they do is shorten your perception range some.

You can see through the Night Widdows stealth, but not the smoke grenades she uses.

I always run CE, run AA on teams or with stealthed foes, and CJ when needed. AA is the big nasty drain, CE and CJ are alright together, unless there's a boss to fight *L*

My armour was planned at my level 49 power anyway, if the armour isn't good then I guess I'll miss out. I do want the end help (Ice/Ice has real issues if you use your toggles) and I guess an AoE would be handy to go with mezzed mobs (and help build Domination) The pets +perception and wanted for Night Widdows (Arctic Air is -stealth, doesn't help with their -perception)

Which is why my Dominator needs to be Ghost Widdow's because she's just that damn awesome. She comands respect (did try taking her out in that bugged mission by logging my high level alt into the team which my low level had created, couldn't hurt her at that time)

I like the idea of using the 5th tray for watching recharge, as the top tray of my sets normally have such powers as Hasten, Power Boost and all that kind of jazz. Which is what I am assuming you mean

That's not bad Res figures if it's correct (well beats my DA before I got tough anyway)

Am still not taking elec armour for my new brute cause I want a play with healing flames and consume for a bounce back brute type feel, but the set itself is possibly stronger than either fire or da for res.

Jacobs ladder is a slow attack, but it does beat some other brute ones for speed (Shadow Maul, most of the Stone Melee set for example) Having tried the stone primary for a brute the elec primary doesn't feel too shaby, its no SS or EN for the super fast fury building, but its not that unfriendly

I love my brute, I think it's my only real AoE alt at the moment and that's probably got a lot to do with it. Love watching those orrange numbers rise in value as the fight goes on, just popping blues as needed. In all am probably weaker than my scrapper, die more often and sure as hell cant kick out the same single target damage, but despite this brutes feel super.

Haven't tried electric armour, have tried electric melee. Am loving Jacobs Ladder at the moment, a bit slow, but there we go. Will definetly make an elec/* brute. Am still thinking Elec/Fire

Warshade travel. Its more teleporting and for that you need binds. So I'm basically asking nicely for some that work well.

I was always under the impression there was no hard defence cap. However there's always a 5% chance of being hit (plus what ever is caused by the streakbreaker)

Ice Sword Circle fixed......... that's the thing that's made my day. Well that and Fire Sword Circle for my brute.

yeah will still have the thrill of being one hit from death all the time, just without the soul numbing inevitability that those hits will be constant

I await the day that SR is overpowered in PvE, I've heard it was back before I had an SR, so I need history repeating itself or a time machine.

The benefits from I7 dont look to be massive, but they do look to take away some of the weakness inherent in the set

The two AoE's make the sets look juicy to most brutes for agro grabbing or AoE holding, not being forced to take the pet, anymore than anyone forces you to take Torrent

5 times connection dropped out (stupid dial up) and during the holding phase i stood on the Time Badits badge, and can confirm no lag that........... but rode home with a HO all the same

Too much AoE damage, is that more attacks than you can actually chain? Cause I find myself using single target attacks in between and it feels like such a waste
