Quote:hehe Mystique mutated in the comics to her nakid movie form....That's not entirely true, though. Just look at Iron Man. In fact, when you think about it, you can't really blame hollywoof when it comes to movie adaptations of comics, seeing as how Marvel and DC have a longstanding tradition of constantly [censored] with their own established characters just to boost sales. Just look at "One More Day", the Clone Saga, Supergirl and Hawkman, the constant Alternate Universes, and the fact that DC seems to have a Multiversal crises that results in company wide retconning every other day.

Quote:you know i could give you the email addy of a socal group full of people who make things like that if your interested....Well, seeing these movies, I can definitely see where you guys got the inspiration to make the digitigrade we currently have in the game, because those stilts look a lot like them. Cool, I didn't know so many people were making these
One slight point of note, though, is that the people in these movies hold their legs slightly differently than what our characters do. Their upper legs are bent forward, with their knees bent back. In our digitigrade legs, the upper leg is straight down. Of course, I realise this is most likely to avoid having to make new animations for just one single set of legs, which is why they follow regular legs so much. Still, it explains why the feet aren't vertical like I'd thought they should be, and ours are STILL better than the ones in Champions Online, which just look like someone took a T-square to your shins
By the way, the finished werewolf costume is just... Wow! This thing does NOT look like it should be able to exist and move like it does. It looks like it should be CGI or something, but to see this existing as actually real, even as a slightly cheesy costume... When I saw it turn its head to look at the camera, that startled me a bit. This is cool! -
Quote:We now have confirmation BaBs is a furry, who else would watch that but someone with fur on the brainPlenty of people have made homemade or professional rigs to mimic digitigrade legs for humanoid characters.

we don't know but the point is in either case they change the MODELS, that is a HUGE step in oping the character creator more. Will it happen instantly? No but the wedge is in the door

I can't belive no one figured this out
They added new nodes to our models. Sire it's just a tail node /now/ but they foudation is there...in a few months we may be able to set skin and clothes seperatly. Want fur or full body tatooes that are consistnt throughout? Sure! Skirts over armored pants? You betcha. Kilts and dress pants? you got it cheif! -

And I'm not sure if the Baron jacker is available for females, but I'm pretty sure the Bolero is not available for males.
really you should have just said "their proportions are un changed" -

Quote:not all weres/anthros like to run around buck nakid. Gina would sooner kill you then let you see her in her bithday suit, even if it is a fur suitTo be honest, I think what bugs people (or at least me) the most about this one is the Samurai Belt looking upper leg armour pieces. They really distort her shape by giving her an artificially big butt, which just serves to accentuate what looks like the Vixen pose. That, and your colour scheme just blends in a bit much, with purple, grey and black for the fur, but black, green and teal for the armour pieces, which kind of makes it a bit too colourful to follow contour lines, at least to my eyes.
If you'd hear my unwelcome suggestions, I'd probably go for more contrasting colours between the underlying fur and the clothes. You already have blue and red in the purple, and you have blue and green in the green and teal, so they tend to meld when they're paired up with just themselves and red. That colour scheme would probably benefit from yellow, or at least all-green gear just to make it stand out, possibly colouring the larger surfaces and leaving the black just for contour lines.
I don't think the design itself is bad, mind you, or even questionable. Given the limitations you're working with, that's as good as you can make it, though I kind of have to ask a couple of questions about it:
1. Why go with all this fur, yet with a human-skin face and arms? I mean, this way it looks like a girl wearing fur clothes, rather than an actual were-girl, which is what I assume you're going for. It just makes it look a bit dissonant.
2. Do you really need clothes on her? Serious question here. If the fur is a suit over human flesh, then that can serve as clothes, and even if it's not, you can just go the typical werewolf rout and have her run around in just gender-concealing fur. It's what I did for my panda girl, and I've gotten complimented on her a few times. It might simplify the concept so it's easier to grasp in one look.
But again - unwelcome advice is unwelcome, so don't take me too seriously -
you know i always though she was Natural, nothing ever screamed mutation to me....
then again i had a Sonic/archery mutant in test who's only mutation was growing arrows out of her breasts, the rest of the powers were gadgets (bow and sonic helmet) -

Quote:isn't it obvious....Question about Nemesis. Before he became a villain, I read somewhere that he was a toymaker. However, the game seems to be unclear about WHY he became a villain. Did he just decide that he could use his mechanical genius to rule the world or what?
It's a Nemisis (toy) plot
