    as for the latter...I took algebra last about 3 years ago, so al the multiply stuff you mentioned flew right over me. I'm good with binds and such, but your question needs to be a tad bit clearer to properly address

    Ok...how about someone else profitting from my image? I have seen sites that, for a fee/price, they will draw your character "comic book" style. Is this ok? So I can pay someone for my image as long as I don't profit from it?

  6. Well using this guide eliminates setting up a mountain of binds. I have expanded on it and am creating a guide for it as well. But esentially you want to consentrate your pet commands to the number pad. You create, for example, 3 txt files. 1st file is for general use (meaning petcom_all commands) the 2nd file will be for tier use and the 3rd file for individual commands. This way you only swintch between numpad formats to control your pets.

    That is what makes this guide invaluable to masterminds. You can switch at least 9 binds in one keystroke (even in battle) to command your pets in an array of ways.

    I haven't tried the $target use for a pet command, will have to try that. Glad to see you were able to solve the problem.

    Now you're on the right track and by this I am understanding that you want each individual pet to attack or goto a specific target/location. Hopefully you mean tiers and not indiviual pets, as that would be one frustrating form of micro managing. But in any case here are the available commands for what I believe you want to do (and I will use necro commands as that is my main MM's primary):

    (1) If you want you send your zombies to one location and your grave knights to another then you would use:

    "petcom_pow zom goto agg" - for aggresive tier one goto
    "petcom_pow grave goto agg" - for aggresive tier two goto
    "petcom_pow zom attack agg" - for aggresive tier one attack
    "petcom_pow grave attack agg" - for aggresive tier two attack

    (2) Individual pets would be commanded depending on the name:

    "petcom_name zombie1 goto agg"
    "petcom_name zombie2 goto agg"
    "petcom_name zombie1 attack agg"
    "petcom_name zombie2 attack agg"


    if you renamed each pet then substitute 'zombie1' with the new name.

    I personally do not use the latter as, like I said, is tedious. Also, in order to use the attack command, you need to have a foe targeted. Try these binds and reply if they work (I am not sure I have the syntax correct for the single pet command)

    I would also suggest to place this in a text file and then use the /bindloadfile command to load them. Any questions, reply here, PM me, or look for me in-game @Kenja

    My point exactly! Everyone is talking about "making Kronos Spawn in zone X" and then I get 2 replies saying he is an ambush after a certain mish from Crimson in a certain story arc. To my knowledge, missions are given a specific location, thus you cannot control where the mission that spawns the ambush will show up.

    Secondly, I saw the screenies of the 3 Kronos in one zone. That slightly disproves the ambush theory as it substantiates the "making it spawn" statement. However, game mechanics only allows one or the other to be true.

    So again the question, HOW did you make the Kronos spawn? or more specifically, how did you organize yourselves to create multiple simultaneous spawns in one zone? (namely the one poster who claimed to making it spawn in X zone "just because")

    Keep in mind also that if you're running your son's missions in warbug (door missions) and you lk him thus greying out the enemies, you may not be helping the badge as you won't be gaining XP even though you're fighting through the mission. Like the last poster said, PvP may have a coding issue with awarding.tracking mentoring time. Try to run regular missions in regular zones. I am almost on my third badge, so I know it is not bugged and I do lackey within missions etc. no standing watching the perverbial paint dry. Also I reluctantly suggest to PM Posi and Cuppa, someone will get back to you. Explain the situtation (not grief that the system is bugged or something) and they should help you...after all Posi would never had known about the PvP time badges being buggy if players didn't come forth with their concerns/issues (well maybe not never...but you get the point)

    If you have a lackey, you mean you would actually waste 10 hours of game time just to get the Boss/Mentor badge? Run missions! I have 2 of the Boss/Mentoring badges and I can tell you I rarely lakey anyone (not because I don't want to but because I usually have even level teams and it's usually a friend or SVG mate who wants in on the action). I don't think it's bugged and should be working as intended (i.e. time is calculated by gaining XP) I mean seriuosly, what kind of boss are you if all you're doing is teaching your lacky how to be lazy? (In the RW you'd be fired, right!?!)

    1. Create a folder where you want the random text to be saved: C:\coxbinds\random

    2. Download sleep.exe file and save it to C:\coxbinds\random

    3. Create a txt file and name it <filename>.bat

    4. In the *.bat insert this:

    I only got it up to there. If the command is correct, what do I do next to make it work in game? Do I log on and execute a command (a /bindloadfile command)?

    Thanks...since I rarely do PvP, I tend to skip over PvP issues. However, I am becoming more of a fan as the time passes so I will be paying more attention to those.

    BTW, FYI (for those like me who did not know) there are no beacons for PvP zones.

    oh and they don't reward vendetta either. Meaning you can't kill the same player too consecutively or you'll get "You recently defeated this player so you don't get any reputation for the defeat" or something along those lines. Let someone else irk you for a bit before turning your sights to the main person hindering your villainy (or heroism as the case may be)

    Healing badges have always been "heal another person for damage they actually needed healed". So healing yourself wouldn't work, nor would healing anyone who is full health.

    I thought the SG healing badge was for base healing not player healing, meaning that it's for the amount of healing made by the infirmary not the players. I already have my first healing badge and close to the second one and not even halfway on the SG badge (unles the heal number is ridiculously high )

  23. Arctic, as a writer, editor, and creative analyst, (among a plethora of other titles) I always looked up to you. It is a sad day to see you leave, but I will do my best to keep all your work in backgrounds and zones alive in my fiction (to appear in my website currently under construction).

    I agree, something in game would be nice. I started a similar discussion last month about the contact hierarchy but also touches upon those hidden contacts.
